We were patients there for a few years. But if you experience pain and/or with a cracked tooth and…read moreneed to see him next day, he will vent anger at your for bothering him. Dental tech there quite outdated compared to other facilities that can do more with X-rays and computer-assisted 3D modeling. Dental assistant always had a sour attitude at every appointment until Jeffrey did the cleanings himself.

I have been going to Dr. Riesburg for over 15 years now. I lived in the city, Wrigleyville to be…read moreexact. I therefore went to a local Chicago dentist in order to receive some typical yearly work. This establishment was the worst dentist I had ever visited as they filled teeth that did not have cavities and exploited their services as such. The worst ended with a file being left in my tooth after a root canal that they deemed necessary. At any rate, I digress. I then turned to Dr. Riesburg since he was in the same neighborhood as my employer at the time. I honestly cannot say enough good things about Dr. Riesburg. He is honest and all telling. I later found out the tooth that needed assistance didn't even need help. There was nothing wrong with the tooth! (Note: I had to extract said tooth and get an implant. Chicago dentist refused to compensate me even after I attempted to litigate. I was therefore forced to pay out of pocket for this whole experience. I would not wish this upon anyone as it truly was disadvantageous). Dr. Riesburg helped me with my misfortune throughout everything. He has stuck by me, and is very personable throughout. He is a dentist who actually cares, hence why I travel an hour up north to enjoy his services. He has now taken care of all 3 of my children, especially when my now two year old had broken her front tooth while jumping from couch to coffee table. Do you know who was willing to be exposed to an X-ray whilest taking the pic? Dr. Riesburg! Best dentist ever and the reason while my family of 5 continue to drive to fabulous Highland Park to reach him! His services, personality, and professional atmosphere will continue to make us want to be there. Side note: Erin has been there for some time and we also love her. She ensures everything is in order and cares about her patients. This is an exceptional team and I continue to utilize their services!!!!!!!

myHealth Dentistry - Zoom! Whitening $299 plus a $50 rebate from Sonicare. Call to schedule an appointment

Very dissatisfied and disappointed with MyHealth Dentistry's service and administration. The…read morecompany advertised a regularly priced $699 whitening treatment for $499. I called and had a lengthy conversation with their administrator, AnnaBelle about their whitening application method. I scheduled an appointment at that time for whitening on December 30th, 2022. I arrived for the treatment which was performed by AnnaBelle (also the office manager). The procedure takes 2 hours and is 3 or 4 15-minute applications depending on desired whiteness and/or gum tolerance. Some people have sensitive gums and are not able to complete 3-4 applications. After I successfully completed 3 applications, AnnaBelle suggested that she felt I reached maximum whiteness and if it were her, she would not do the 4th. I took her advice and moved on to having impressions made for whitening trays that would be ready for me in 1 week. I was leaving on January 11th for 4 weeks in Arizona and the trays were not ready to pick up before I left. I had my husband go in a week later to pick up the trays; however, they said they would not release the trays unless I was there. Just after I returned from Arizona on February 11th, I went to pick up the trays. I had to see a dentist (Dr Ibrahim). I told her and AnnaBelle who also sat in on our conversation that I was very displeased with the (lack of) whitening. The color change was no different than when I've used Crest strips or the $99 whitening trays from another dentist. They argued every point with me and discounted everything I had to say. The Dr was rude and made up every story she could to try and justify that she was right. She told me my tooth composition would not allow me to experience true whiteness because of some far-fetched excuse I've never heard. My question is, why didn't she tell me this BEFORE I had the application? The Dr also suggested I was many shades whiter than when I started; however, they could not provide pictures of the before and after. They didn't have a before saved in their computer. Dr also said if I had my teeth cleaned before the whitening, I may have had better results. My last cleaning was 1 month before the whitening with the BEST DENTIST, Dr Hoppe in Deerfield. Even so, why wasn't I told this before the treatment? After many rounds of me refuting/disproving ALL of the doctor's statements, AnnaBelle finally offered to refund my $499. She said she could not refund back to my original form of payment (credit card), but would instead have to have their accounting department issue a bank check which could take up to 30 days to receive. I was satisfied with that. After over 6 weeks passed, I called the office 3 times as I had not received the check, nor heard from the company. The first call I left a message. No call back. I called again and talked to AnnaBelle. She said my account was still in "pending" mode which meant the refund was not approved by their accounting department as yet (6+ weeks later). She said she would contact accounting and get back to me. I did not hear back so I called again. She said she hadn't received a response to her email inquiry and said she doesn't have a number to contact them by phone. I was still in pending mode which meant accounting hadn't even addressed the issue 6+ weeks later. AnnaBelle said she would try again and would get back to me. I asked AnnaBelle why, if you offered a refund, would accounting have to provide further approval? She said just because she offered the refund doesn't mean that I'm going to get it. I have written this review in hopes I can potentially save anyone from experiencing the same results and poor service from MyHealth Dentistry. I highly recommend you research other options.

I hadn't been to the dentist in 5 years because I had some bad experiences. I was really nervous for my appointment at myhealth but I really did not feel judged for not being a perfect patient and I also didn't feel dumb for asking all my questions. Of course I wish I didn't have to go back so soon for a cavity but I won't mind going to see this team! Thank you!

Waited 2 months for an appointment that they never put into their books. I called January 8th at…read more10am waited to today. Every time I go in here I'm disappointed.

The best part about this week, aside from getting my kiddos in for their dentist appointment (see…read moremy prior review), was my chance to get my teeth cleaned as well. My experience was top notch! Jory (sp?) deserves a 10-star rating for being thorough and gentle. I think she might be new. To be completely honest, I figured I was doomed. I convinced myself that I'd get reprimanded for not making teeth and gums my top priority. Let's face it, when you're stuck at home or wearing a mask all the time in public, flossing and brushing sometimes take a back seat. Surprisingly, I got a thumbs up for doing a pretty good job with barely any plaque buildup - woot! Good gums...check! In my prior review for my kids, I shared the safety precautions being taken. Masks, temperature checks, spaced seating in the waiting area, and tons of hand sanitizer everywhere. Behind the doors (something I didn't see with my kids), they took my purse and placed it in a bin and ran a UV light over it to zap any germs before I could take it into the cleaning area. The cleaning process. Mouthwash provided in a cup, swish and spit back in the cup (no sink). Jory provided me with goggles. Jory wiped down the heavy x-ray blanket after use and wiped down items that would be used for the next patient. My cleaning was incredibly thorough, especially that bottom middle tough area. The biggest bummer is that they aren't polishing teeth right now due to the fact it emits a spray into the air. Sadly my teeth might not be sparkly clean polished white, but I appreciated the safety measures being taken.
