I'll firstly begin with his staff who are not only receptive, but they're communicative, provide and honest, woman's opinion and will take the time to address your inquiries and concerns. Elsa and Sylvia were incredibly open with me from consultation, surgery apprehensions, and post-op questions, too. At first I didn't believe that they'd get back to me as much as I reached out - but they did each time. Their follow through and follow up are a chef's kiss. I felt completely heard and taken care of - which goes a long way throughout three months of communication. Onto Dr. Doan! He's direct, very honest with his professional opinion and does speak from 20+ years of experience. His straightforwardness is a style I'm grateful for - he didn't sell me on my decision, and gave me an honest post-surgery opinion, too. The way he settles into each visit s visually telling - he sits for as long as required, as long as you're asking questions and until he's sure you feel good. We all have different bodies so the outcomes will be different, and let me tell you that my personal outcome has been exactly what I wanted. He takes his time at each one - 1 day, 1 week, 1 month - without rushing through the time with you. Updated Review for Dr. Doan I honestly don't even know where to begin because my experience with Dr. Doan has gone so far beyond my expectations. After everything I've been through trying to correct and improve the appearance of my body after having butt implants removed, I had honestly gotten to a point where I wasn't sure I would ever feel completely confident again. I originally had a great experience with this doctor. At first I put aside the fact his bedside manner was rude because we all know surgeons don't really have this attribute. This doctor lied to me and not only do my breasts look horrible after only 3 years. I received a lift and implants. I bought the insurance etc. everything to a T. I even referred this doctor TWO clients. And one is absolutely in the same situation I am in hates her surgery 3 years later. I would never ever recommend this doctor to a friend or family member. I am almost 40 years old this November and decided to give myself a present! I had liposuction of my inner thighs and a breast augmentation. Extremely unprofessional, dishonest, and lacks financial transparencyI am updating my review to warn others about Dr. Doan. Once he gets your money, his demeanor completely changes. After paying him $9,295 for my surgery, I needed a warranty implant replacement. Instead of helping me, Dr. Doan argued with me, treated me with total disrespect, and even called me a liar.When he finally issued a replacement payout, he sent a check for a measly $300. Anyone who has looked into breast augmentation knows that a replacement implant is never $300--even the wholesale cost for standard FDA-approved saline implants runs between $800 and $1,200. To make matters worse, he completely refuses to show me a receipt or provide an itemized breakdown explaining this amount. I just had my second surgery with Dr. Doan on August 1st and another great experience with results I'm thrilled with. I went from 420CC to 570CC implants and he re did my anchor scar so it's barely existent and will probably fade to nothing. I had gone to three other consultations but this was the one I felt like ok, this is it, I'm choosing him. He's straight forward. He'll tell you what he recommends and he won't do something he doesn't recommend for you. He explains his rationale and invites questions. Personality wise it took awhile for him to grow on me but at my one week follow up I was like aww I'm actually going to miss him! Lol He's straight forward, to the point, and he's kind. Work ethic - amazing. Rumors suggest he goes for a run before surgery to help him be clear minded and in the zone. He takes his work serious and it shows. I like that he also addressed misconceptions regarding some women wearing very tight compression garments too soon and why it isn't recommended. I look amazing lol another doctor saw me 2 weeks later and was like "WOW these are the cleanest incisions I've ever seen." He said this because of how thin and straight my incision lines are! The day of surgery I felt so great. The staff there are all really nice and welcoming. The anesthesiologist was so patient and kind with me too! He helped me feel at ease and I woke up very calm too which is not my usual response to anesthesia! I'm thankful. Today was my 6 weeks check up. Dr. Doan's attitude was still pleasant. Most doctors, after getting your money, attitude begin to be dry but that was not my experience with Dr. Doan today. He wasn't in a hurry to leave the room, in fact, we begin to talk about school and sports after my check up. I am extremely happy with this doctor. As my previous review said, this is my 3rd surgery, but by far my best experience. My scars are so minimal and it's obvious, even now, that over time they will eventually fade. I had weight loss surgery 2 years ago . Had a lot of loose skin on my tummy. Did my research went with several surgeons, but came right back to Dr. Doan.
