Pain, disfigurement, excessive scarring...he attempted to do a revision only after I had to convince him the suture broke in my neck. He said it was a quick fix. My fix costs another few thousand dollars and did not work. I actually was convinced by him and his staff that he could fix by redoing whole thing. I think because he was scared I would sue which I should have and probably will. Now years later I am still disfigured, in pain, sutures sticking out of my neck and it looks horrible. They cancelled two of my appointments because he is doing research on a grant. If he cared about his patients he would have called to see how I was or had staff follow up. I have now spend thousands on consults with other doctors...9 of them. Not one believes or uses his technique or some of the other quick fix procedures. All other doctors said I should have had a standard neckllift after his was causing issues and pain. Dr. G was also dishonest with me and did not tell me before surgery he was changing his technique and putting a suture he uses in a man and also added extra sutures to tie in my muscle so they don't rip through. I would never trust this man again. Look and research him. He has many patients that have posted similar experiences with other types of surgeries. Please read and avoid him at all costs. There are way too many good doctor out there. Please, please, please do your homework.....it's your life and you reach out to these doctors to help and make you feel better. Do not think any plastic surgeon will do, each has different ideas, techniques, personalities and your choice should not be taken lightly. This man has changed the path of my life...that is a fact. I was blown away by their expertise. Dr. ZBar (who is awesome with a capital A) walked into the room and put my mind at ease instantly. I don't know if it was his friendly personality with me or how I could see his staff loved working with him, or the maybe it was the cool music playing in the room. : ) All I can say is my mind was at ease as I was ready to have my procedure. He took a golfball sized tumor out of my neck. Now one month later, you can hardly tell there is a scar there. Communicated with me to see how I was doing and how I was healing. A true professional. Because of the prior switching, her health aide had to bring her rather early... 35 minutes or so. Well they would not let my very elderly, vaccinated and masked parents sit and wait. So they limped downstairs and waited for me to gather them. My mother did not want an unkind man touching her after that. Furthermore when I tried to connect with them (I arrived to the office 25 minutes before her allotted appointment time, one of the office ladies told me the nurse took them away and they were coming back at 1. After waiting and having pictures of me taken on their ipad which I was not told the purpose for, I only had about a seven minute consultation with Maria. She ordered a specialized blood test panel for me. She told me during my visit that when they receive my bloodwork results, they will call me so I can come in and discuss them. I promptly got this done and received my results. I waited a few weeks to receive a call from the dermatologist office and did not hear from them at all. So I called them. They made me wait on hold for about 10 minutes and when I was finally the "first in line" their automated system then told me they cannot take my call at that time. So I called the next day. I asked if they received my bloodwork results. The woman who answered the phone checked and said that they did receive my results. I then asked if I can come in to discuss the results. She tells me that the provider that ordered it has not yet looked at it. Then she asked me if I would be fine talking about it over the phone and I said yes (although I initially hoped to speak to the doctor in person about my results and the next steps) and confirmed my number for them to call me, and she said that I will get a call. I never received the call. Considering that this is a dermatologist office that markets itself as "high end" and was also quite expensive even just the copay was well over 100 dollars (just for a very brief consultation) this kind of treatment is completely unprofessional. For a doctor to tell you confidently they will reach out to you to discuss a very important health matter and doesn't even look at your results NOR call you back is just unacceptable service. I was optimistic going to this doctor after struggling with this issue for a long time and going to many doctors and trying several different medications already, and had a very negative and unhelpful experience at Geria Dermatology . If you genuinely care about your health and want it taken seriously , I would not recommend this place.

Both visits were positive. She was thorough, attentive, courteous, and took the time to answer my questions. Her bedside manner is exceptional, and I always felt heard and respected during our interactions I also want to recognize the medical assistants and nurses who greet patients and take vitals. They have always been kind, welcoming, and professional, and they consistently help create a positive experience when arriving for an appointment. When I first became a patient, I saw a nurse practitioner who was equally thorough and took the time to address my concerns. Unfortunately, she is no longer with the practice. Since then, there seems to have been a revolving door of nurse practitioners, and the consistency in care has noticeably declined. Several appointments have felt rushed, and some of the concerns I initially raised were never revisited or followed up on. As a patient, it's difficult to build trust and continuity of care when the provider changes so frequently. My most recent appointment with Nurse Practitioner Patel was especially disappointing. The interaction felt very uncomfortable because communication was extremely limited. She appeared knowledgeable, but I had to continually ask questions to get even basic information. Instead of feeling guided through my treatment plan, I felt like I was pulling information out of her throughout the visit. When the appointment ended, I was still unsure about several important details: how exactly to use my prescription, how long I should use it, what to expect from the medication, what to do if it didn't work, whether there were any potential side effects I should watch for, and what the plan would be moving forward if my condition didn't improve. I left the appointment feeling confused rather than reassured. These are questions that I believe should be addressed proactively during a patient visit, not only if the patient knows to ask. I continue to have confidence in Dr. Cadoo and truly appreciate the care I have received directly from her. My concerns are not with Dr. Cadoo herself, but with the inconsistency in care resulting from the frequent turnover of nurse practitioners and the lack of thorough communication during some of those visits. I hope the practice can improve continuity of care and ensure that every provider takes the time to educate patients, answer questions thoroughly, and make patients feel informed and supported.
