I go here for laser hair removal for my underarms and Ive had 5 sessions so far and 1 more left and now they are so buttery smooth! I am very satisfied with the results so far and the nurses are very professional and really know what they're doing. The procedures are moderately painful but it's worth it because I have no more ingrown hairs or black stubble which I was very self-conscious of and caused low self-esteem. Now I can finally wear sleeveless clothes and be confident raising my arms. I get botox. There ...... I said it.... I had scheduled an appointment with Dr. Maria Del Vecchio They charge a certain price per unit (smart) Each unit on this day was $150 a syringe. Each area will cost you $150. She explained to me that they don't water theirs down and then consulted me on which areas to inject. Out of all the Dr.s I've been to for tox, she did the least amount of injections. I was in and out within 20 minutes. I never really gave the "watered down" theory a thought until the next day. Usually when I get the tox, I don't see results for a week. With Dr Del Vecchio, I had results the next day. Well worth it! read more

I went here for a consult a few years ago. I had a good experience with Dr. Haramis who is no longer with this group. The free consultation was good and the pricing was also good but the surgical clearance procedure was a bit over the top. I had to get cleared with Dr. DelVecchio (and pay her) instead of getting clearance from my family doc. When I went for the clearance my blood pressure was a little elevated due to being in a doctors office and meeting a new doctor. I believe the term for this phenomenon is called "white coat hypertension" and it is just something you really can't control. As a result of my elevated pulse and blood pressure, Dr. DelVecchio would not clear me for the surgery and proceeded to tell me that I had hypertension and that I should take medication and get it checked out. Is that how doctors diagnose patients? I think that is very scary for anyone currently on any medication. As a result of this absurd procedure for getting clearance, I was not able to schedule the procedure with Dr. Haramis and I had to look elsewhere. I eventually got the procedure done in Livingston and no other office that I consulted with seemed to think I had any issues that would preclude me from getting the procedure done. I'm still happy regardless because I got the results I wanted. This was an initially decent experience that went bad really quickly and for no reason. My advice is to steer clear of any place that does not allow you to get appropriate clearance from YOUR OWN physician. Dr. DelVecchio obviously was not aware of my medical history and was attempting to diagnose me with something that I did not have. That is not good medicine and something to think about when you are entrusting someone to, in my case, work on your face. read more

I purposely went to an Open House event and bought a gift certificate to use for a facial later in the year. When I called to schedule an appointment I were told that the esthetician is no longer working there, they took my name and said they would call me when a new one started. A few months went by & I realize I never got a call and when I checked the gift certificate it had expired by two weeks. I called the office immediately on 2/3/16 and was told by the CEO that the gift certificate was no longer valid and therefore wouldn't be honored. This sounds like a complete scam. They sell you a gift certificate and while they may not have known a person would leave at the very least they should be extending the expiration date for the number of months that I couldn't schedule because they didn't have the people there to do it. I wonder how Dr. Barry Dibernardo MD PC in Montclair, NJ works with other patients like this??? Update: I was contacted by the office (7/2018) noting that the CEO was no longer there. Now I understand all of the negative reviews. I was hopeful back in January after I wasted a whole 40 minutes of my time doing a zoom consultation January 29th. I told the Doctor I wanted co2 which is advertised on their web site. I have had this proceedure dozens of times in the past with other Doctors and I love it. Dr. Cobets spoke to me via video chat for 40 minutes and I explained over and over again how I only wanted the co2 laser. She kept trying to convince me to try more expensive treatments "FaceTite" for $4,745" or "Softwave" for $3,000 etc. After the zoom chat she referred me to call again to speak to Kris. I did. Kris again did the fluff and stuff to discourage the potential clients getting the proceedure of their choice. SEVERAL emails and calls and still the big runaround. Weeks go by between emails and never once a call back. Finally today I called again and got the email address of the office manager who says she will ask Dr. DiBernardo personally how much exactly the co2 treatment will cost and when I can have it done. THEN she writes back and says "Dr. DiBernardo says we haven't had that laser for over 20 years". So the whole office staff including Dr. Cobets are clueless procrastinators. What a HUGE waste of time and shame on them for pushing over priced proceedures during a pandemic. This place is clearly all about price gauging and beating around the bush. Honestly, promises were made that did not happen. I have had several services from them including hair transplant, cool sculpting, and skin treatment -Zo Headlines from each are this: 1. Hair - they ups old me on pulling more than 600 more grafts at surgery time which I thought would fill in further and it didn't push my hair line down. Also they promised to remove an old scare and haven't followed through on that 2. Cool sculpting - no results, and I have been exercising like crazy and given up sugar - weight before 160 and weight today 165 3. Zo - it was suppose to lighten dark spots from sun damage and after spending over $600, my skin is smoother and less breakouts, but no better appearance. Sad to have to post this, but the fact that they never called once after any of the procedures or products sales to follow up has made me feel it more like an obligation to my fellow man to warn you. I came here to receive a Hydrafacial which I paid $200 and was not impressed at all. My thoughts on the entire thing: 1. The office appeared clean but was far from it. Upon entering the treatment room, I laid on the bed and waited for the aesthetician to come in and begin. After prepping my face, she went to use the machine and suddenly stopped. She proceeded to state out loud " oh hold on one minute this is still dirty from the last time...we've had people in all day." Gross. She then went on to explain how she was cleaning the machine and removed a bin to empty "gunk". Even more gross. Ultimately she laughed it off and said "oh these machines just clean themselves". 2. The aesthetician tried to push overly expensive products and packages my way even after I made it apparent I was not purchasing them. 3 The receptionist at the front was extremely inept and rude. When I finished my treatment, I stopped at the front to pay. I asked if she accepted cash, however I could use my debit card if not. She took my cash without saying a word or looking at me. She then sat there for about 5 minutes before huffing "most of our customer pay on a card". I advised again that I could use my debit card if that was easier for her. She continued to ignore me and trying to figure out how to make a cash payment, while requesting the help of another employee. Mind you I was still standing there for about 10 minutes now. Eventually she looked up and asked me if she could help me with anything else as my presence seemed to annoy her. I was wondering if I would get a receipt which is why I was lingering, but apparently not. Overall I would not return here again, even for a free treatment. I typically go to the Woodhouse spa a few blocks over but thought I would save the additional $80 on my facial. Nope, this place left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

I had laser lipo performed by Dr. Haramis on my back and inner thighs. He said that I was an excellent candidate for the procedure and there would be a noticeable difference afterwards. One of the nurses showed me pics of her lipo done by Dr. Haramis and it looked amazing so I was very optimistic since she was larger than me. I was very disappointed right from the beginning. He kept saying it was because of swelling but 8 months later my after pics look the same as my before pic. Now I was awake for my surgery and if because of that he couldn't remove the amount of fat needed then he shouldn't have done it with me awake. He agreed to a free redo but by the time I pay for the surgi-center and anesthesia (now he wants to put me to sleep) I will be paying about the same price. This MD is a rip off! From the minute you walk into his office he is figuring out how to squeeze the most money out of you. I paid him for a face &neck lift, and all he did was a neck lift and his surgical reports supports this statement. During the consult his office coordinator try's to push overly price face products &PICO treatments, stating doctor wants you to have these. This MD has nerve to charge what he does and then you must get your surgery done in a old dilapidated run down dump of a hospital. The "suite" he has for your overnight stay is a horror chamber. The hospital bed is from the 1940's, the TV is at a 45 degree angle from the bed, the recliner for my husband was a reject from a charity assoc. The roll out bed was in another room and looked as if you would get lice or bed bugs from it. This MD prides himself on his "signature" neck lift. Don't get a neck lift by this MD you will be sorry. You will have lumpy skin under your neck as well as stabbing pain around each ear. When I brought up the fact to his nurse that a face lift was not done, this doctor will not speak to me. She does such a great job making my skin look like a million bucks :) Who new a medical grade facial could be so relaxing? The facility is clean & front desk staff is fantastic. Allison, at the front, has gone above and beyond for both of my visits -- making sure I had everything I needed, before, during and after my appointment -- even when the office was busy. Careless Doctor! Dr. Dibernardo performed a rhinoplasty on me years ago. I was infuriated by the result. One side of my nose looked great and the other side looked as if it wasn't even touched. Dr. Haramis was excellent! Great bedside manner. Made sure after my surgery to contact my friend driving me home and followed up with me the evening of my surgery. I had a post op appointment originally schedule over a week after my surgery and he made sure to fit me in 3 days later before I went to work. I am only 3 days post operation and seeing amazing results already and I am still swollen! I expressed discomfort towards the compression garment I have to wear and Dr. Haramis made sure to give me a different one. I had no issues with the staff and frankly if the doctor is great that's all that matters to me! The receptionist was not doing my surgery! I can't wait until all my swelling is gone and I can see my true results because so far they're fantastic and I am feeling much more confident already! read more

Very disappointed with the quote given by Dr DeBernardo and Shirley( the person who decides the final cost due to her commission ) quoted me $22k for a liposuction and BBL for PART of my body which was upserd. When I spoke with Shirley she was rude and pretty much didn't want to waste her time negotiating or should I say explaining how this cost came about. I also went to see him a year ago for laser to my chin area in which I have skin that hangs due to this so called tightening laser. I am very disappointed with the pricing of all their services. I ended up going to Dominican Republic and had the work done for $4k with a double board certified plastic surgeon. I never write reviews, but after this morning's experience I feel that I have to share. I went to Dr. Del Vecchio for injectables. I had my first experience at a 'Botox party' last week. Then, this morning in the office. I couldn't be happier. She is absolutely delightful, limits any pain and went way out of her way to borrow product from another Montclair MD, as her office had accidentally shipped their product to their other location. THAT IS AMAZING!!!! I can't imagine any other MD going to that kind of trouble. I also like her office photographer, Natalia. She was also delightful (and that's hard on a Friday morning at 8am). I love MDs that make every patient feel important. Dr. Del Vecchio was both informal and knowledgable. She spent lots of time explaining things to me. Staff is inept. Scheduled appointment 1 week ago for a consult for another procedure. Had been there before. Was never informed at time I made appointment of a $250 deposit. Cancelled same day as appointment and rescheduled. Then received a phone call from the receptionist who was totally inept and rude and told I needed to leave the deposit. She said that Dr. DiBernardo asked her to call to get deposit. Extremely tacky and unprofessional. I tried two different treatments and would never go back. The doctor who did the botox did such a poor job that within 8 weeks all of my frown lines were back, all this for the same $600 my dermotolgist in NYC charges, yet with her it lasts 5 months! I used the same doctor another afternoon to specifically use filler around the corners of my mouth to decrease the areas that droop. They actually looked worse and I had lumps of filler that took 2 months to smooth out . Also their prices are insane for the suburbs and franky work I've had done in NY is far better for equal charges. Just had a lymphatic drainage massage which was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING WITH TATIANA. FYI - Lymphatic drainage massage is a type of gentle massage which is intended to encourage the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries waste products away from the tissues back toward the heart. My circulation and appearance of my stomach, legs and arms improved almost instantly. I must tell you this girl knows her stuff and has an amazing personality. Great medical practice New Jersey Plastic Surgery of Dr. Barry Di Bernardo...the staff is on point for their professionalism, degree of care and longevity of employment, most of them there 5-10 years which speaks loudly to me about him as an employer who respects and appreciates the people who work for him. While in the waiting room, when Dr. Di Bernardo came in and shook my hand, which had a very light touch like a feather, he was focused and attentive to every detail, wanting to make multiple corrections to my face. A very soft spoken gentleman, who impressed me with his professionalism, who listened closely to what my expectations would be before and after the surgery. And while I was speaking he had a look of completion like an artist when he work is completed but as gentleman he allowed me to express all my concerns. I was convinced to move forward with the surgery. Very little discomfort, immediate visual improvement to my neck & eyes, incision points almost undetectable. No doubt a surgeon with a feather-light touch, a genius with his hands, which for any patient is paramount. I bow my hat to you, Dr. Di Bernardo, you are the Micheangelo of NJ, like an artist trying to paint a picture with vision, ideas and precision with what you try to achieve.
