You will hear the phrase, Cut and Run surgeons in the plastic surgery world, I never knew what that meant until now. Please don't learn the hard way like I did, you can't afford to not work with an office that has compassion consideration, and most importantly, the ability to care for you as a patient. Furthermore when I tried to connect with them (I arrived to the office 25 minutes before her allotted appointment time, one of the office ladies told me the nurse took them away and they were coming back at 1. Pain, disfigurement, excessive scarring...he attempted to do a revision only after I had to convince him the suture broke in my neck. He said it was a quick fix. My fix costs another few thousand dollars and did not work. I actually was convinced by him and his staff that he could fix by redoing whole thing. I think because he was scared I would sue which I should have and probably will. Now years later I am still disfigured, in pain, sutures sticking out of my neck and it looks horrible. They cancelled two of my appointments because he is doing research on a grant. If he cared about his patients he would have called to see how I was or had staff follow up. I have now spend thousands on consults with other doctors...9 of them. Not one believes or uses his technique or some of the other quick fix procedures. All other doctors said I should have had a standard neckllift after his was causing issues and pain. Dr. G was also dishonest with me and did not tell me before surgery he was changing his technique and putting a suture he uses in a man and also added extra sutures to tie in my muscle so they don't rip through. I would never trust this man again. Look and research him. He has many patients that have posted similar experiences with other types of surgeries. Please read and avoid him at all costs. There are way too many good doctor out there. Please, please, please do your homework.....it's your life and you reach out to these doctors to help and make you feel better. Do not think any plastic surgeon will do, each has different ideas, techniques, personalities and your choice should not be taken lightly. This man has changed the path of my life...that is a fact. Two weeks ago, I had my lips dissolved with my preferred specialist, Monica, and booked a refill appointment for October 4 at 12pm with Kelly (since Monica was out of office). I started my commute from NYC to the Verona location, but found it odd I never received a reminder -- so I called, only to learn that my appointment was never actually booked, despite scheduling it over the phone 2.5 weeks ago. They managed to squeeze me in later in the day with Megan. However, when I arrived just five minutes past their 10-minute grace period (after calling ahead to let them know I'd be slightly late), I was told I had missed my appointment and the most she could offer was a conversation -- not the actual service. I found this incredibly disappointing and frustrating, especially given the effort it takes to travel from NYC without a car, and the fact that I've been a loyal client for years. It's unfortunate to end things on this note, but I can no longer recommend Montclair Rejuvenation Center after today's experience.

Both visits were positive. She was thorough, attentive, courteous, and took the time to answer my questions. Her bedside manner is exceptional, and I always felt heard and respected during our interactions I also want to recognize the medical assistants and nurses who greet patients and take vitals. They have always been kind, welcoming, and professional, and they consistently help create a positive experience when arriving for an appointment. When I first became a patient, I saw a nurse practitioner who was equally thorough and took the time to address my concerns. Unfortunately, she is no longer with the practice. Since then, there seems to have been a revolving door of nurse practitioners, and the consistency in care has noticeably declined. Several appointments have felt rushed, and some of the concerns I initially raised were never revisited or followed up on. As a patient, it's difficult to build trust and continuity of care when the provider changes so frequently. My most recent appointment with Nurse Practitioner Patel was especially disappointing. The interaction felt very uncomfortable because communication was extremely limited. She appeared knowledgeable, but I had to continually ask questions to get even basic information. Instead of feeling guided through my treatment plan, I felt like I was pulling information out of her throughout the visit. When the appointment ended, I was still unsure about several important details: how exactly to use my prescription, how long I should use it, what to expect from the medication, what to do if it didn't work, whether there were any potential side effects I should watch for, and what the plan would be moving forward if my condition didn't improve. I left the appointment feeling confused rather than reassured. These are questions that I believe should be addressed proactively during a patient visit, not only if the patient knows to ask. I continue to have confidence in Dr. Cadoo and truly appreciate the care I have received directly from her. My concerns are not with Dr. Cadoo herself, but with the inconsistency in care resulting from the frequent turnover of nurse practitioners and the lack of thorough communication during some of those visits. I hope the practice can improve continuity of care and ensure that every provider takes the time to educate patients, answer questions thoroughly, and make patients feel informed and supported.
