I'm a 26 year old female who was contemplating breast reduction surgery for the past few years. I went to a few consultations and received information but didn't feel confident enough to go through with the procedure. He made me feel so comfortable, answered all my questions with confidence and told me they would take care of me every step of the way. I then scheduled my surgery for August 15th,2014. The day before my surgery I went in for markings and Dr. Hyans explained the surgery again made me feel safe and told me the size would be determined during surgery upon what would be the safest for me and we also joked about what music I'd like to hear before the procedure. When I went into surgery Dr. Hyans was there to talk to me before hand and gave me a sense of relief. When I woke up from the surgery I immediately felt like a new person and was overwhelmed with joyful emotion. The following Monday at my post op appointment I was treated and my bandages were removed and I was told I can call at anytime no matter what if I had any questions at all. I am now three months post op and could not be happier with my decision to have my breast reduction surgery with Dr. Hyans. To this day Im treated wonderfully whenever I call or go into the office. No matter when I call Dr. Hyans and his nurse Maria know exactly what I'm talking about and I don't have to refresh them on my case they honestly make you feel as if you're the only patient they are caring for. I went from a size 36G to a 36D, a size XL top to a Medium and feel better than ever. I can finally walk around with confidence, exercise in a comfortable way and actually enjoy shopping again. I'm a healthy, energetic widow in my early 60s, and I wanted my face to look as young as I feel. Despite my age I have beautiful skin with almost no wrinkles, but I had deep grooves near the corners of my mouth. They were quite pronounced and made me look much older. I thoroughly researched different surgeons and decided to have Dr. Peter Hyans do my face lift. The results are amazing and I couldn't be happier with my face. From my first appointment, I found Dr. Hyans very easy to talk to and very approachable. He was honest about what I could expect. He answered all my questions and I never felt rushed. He also told me he could get rid of the bags under my eyes. While I felt I was in good hands, initially I was worried about the surgery as I'd never had anesthesia before. But I had the surgery and I recovered amazingly fast, with minimal swelling and bruising and no visible scarring at all. I am thrilled with the results. I was so pleased with the face lift that, just a couple months later, I decided to have a breast lift with a slight reduction, plus some liposuction on my tummy. Of course, I wanted Dr. Hyans to do it. With breasts, it does take longer for the scars to fade, but I was expecting that as he was honest about the healing time. I don't have enough words to praise the talent and work ethic of Dr. Hyans. I have waited years to finally fix my breasts after breastfeeding my two kids, and my breasts were a complete disaster. Not only I was very small to begin with, the little I had there was deflated and i was left with saggy skin. I didn't even think it would be at all possible to ever have good looking breasts again. I met Dr. Hyans and explained to him that I wasn't after "big boobs" and that I just wanted anything that looked better than my present condition. He was so patient and so thorough, explaining everything to me, the possibilities and the options I had. I could tell he cared. I ended up having a breast lift as well as an implant. I have barely ANY scars at ALL! It is almost unbelievable that I had so much done and no scars. Instead of doing the upside down T, he did the lift cutting around the areola, which left a scar basically invisible to the eye. In the Fall of 2014 I had my third experience with Juvederm, finally one that is a "positive one as a result of a skilled Doctor and team". The first and second time I tried Juverderm was in 2013 when I went to a different Certified Plastic surgeon and I did not achieve the results I wanted. I sought out Dr. Peter Hyans from the Summit Medical Group and let him know of my bad prior experience with Juverderm. Dr. Hyans made me feel at ease and explained everything about the procedure thoroughly before we started. He's very skilled at what he does, I felt no pain whatsoever and only ended up needing one syringe, I saw the results immediately. I was diagnosed with breast cancer about 6 yrs ago, I had reconstruction after my mastectomy but it was a nightmare and had everything removed. A friend suggested that I go see Dr. Hyans 6 yrs later, I was very skeptical about starting reconstruction again. I was amazed by my first visit. I went to Dr. Hyans for oculoplasty in 2011 and had amazing results so I knew that when I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had to have a bilateral mastectomy that he would be the doctor that I would want to do my reconstruction.
