This is a brand new location, apparently open for just a few weeks, their other location is at Bathurst & Lawrence. I ordered their Laffa falafel (shaped like a burrito ($6.99), I didn't expect it to be so huge! The falafel itself is super fresh and absolutely melts in your mouth, I have never had falafel of this quality before, the veggies were fresh and amazing colour, so much flavour! This restaurant is licensed, you can order a nice beer with your food and enjoy their very courteous and attentive service. I'll be back!

Shawarma review: I heard positive reviews about this place. I for one was not impressed with the portions and cost. Over priced and expensive. Portions were small. I would prefer other places such as me va me and mr zagros and al tanoor at lawarence and warden. The shawarma dinner is not worth 20 dollars. Disappointed The quality of the food was alright. The bread was good and the Israeli salad was good. Shawarma lacked flavour. It was near to plain chicken. Haven't tried the skewers or any other dinners. This is mainly for the shawarma review. Finished the shawarma portion in 5 spoons.

The falafel deserves a special mention--it was hands down the best falafel I've ever had. Crispy on the outside, light and flavorful on the inside, and cooked to perfection. The place is spotless, and you can tell they take pride in both the quality of their food and the cleanliness of the place. The owners are incredibly kind, welcoming, and make you feel appreciated as a customer. The portions are huge, the ingredients are fresh, and every bite was delicious. If you're looking for authentic, high-quality shawarma and amazing falafel, Pita Golden Pocket is absolutely worth the visit. I'll definitely be coming back!"

It is in a plaza in the middle of nowhere. There are a lot of construction workers who come here for food. The food portion is huge, VERY HUGE. We ordered one pita for both of us, which was more than enough. Everyone there ordered a huge order. The owner was very friendly. It was our first time there. One pita comes with only one drink, but the owner gave us a drink for free and allowed us to sample some chicken before ordering. I don't think I will come back for the food again. This place is famous, I guess, because of the portions.

They made big mistake with my order but they were great at owning up to it and showed exemplary service in doing so. They got the grape vine wraps which goes great with fries. I will go back just for this. Keep in mind shawarma on weekdays may not be freshly grilled but kept in containers they scoop out of, or regrilled. But the beef shawarma good either way. Sauces for sharwarma in addition to regular sauces they have there is also a yogurt like sauce addition that give great taste. But all the side toppings does lean toward the saltier side. I'd recommend asking to replace all with rice. Lettuce on weekday seems a bit old, brown and yellow spots... try to go on weekends Eggplant dip bought separately tasted sadly underwelming but might be a thing for some people. I had much tastier eggplant dips especially the canned ones. Theirs seems home made. Their food is decent 3/5 and service 4/5. You will feel people working there cares, unlike Made in Mexico on main st new location in my recent trip. For competing sharwarma there is always Sharwarma Land on Yonge st to try around ten min drive south. The lack of fresh veggies and meat on weekdays sadly lowers rating.

Visited them a few days ago for lunch. We tried their…read morefalafel, they were very good. Moist, fresh and flavourful on the inside and crispy on the outside; exactly how a good falafel should be. (7 $) We also tried their oven baked salmon entree. It was very bland, not seasoned well and a little rare. It came with parisienne potatoes with were bland too(no salt/pepper; just seasoned with garlic and dill) as was the salad which was served with the entree. (22 $) Wife had a caeser salad for lunch. The vegetables were fresh and crisp. The parmesan was generous and flavourful but the salad lacked the dressing and tasted a little bland as rest of the meal. (10 $) The tea however was very nice. It was orange pekoe tea bag, served with mint leaves and a cinnamon stick. We'll definitely try this at home. (1.50 $ each) The restaurant is located in the industrial area, in the middle of nowhere. If it weren't for the groupon we wouldn't have ventured in the area. It was lunch hour and we were the only two customers there, which was very unusual considering this is located in an area where there are companies/offices all around. I think the price of the food might have to do something with it. The food was pretty pricey for everyday office lunch. These kind of prices would have only made sense in the financial district. There was a stage there. It seemed that there would be music performance during the weekends/evenings. Wish them all the best as they are new and still discovering themselves. Would love to see them succeed and be able to draw crowd to the location. Cheers!

Replacing the original Dr. Laffa location the owners did some serious upgrades to both decor and menu. The food here is quite good. A different season for every dish from most of the other places in the area. I enjoyed 3 of the classic dishes. Falafel Plate which was crunchy on the outside and came with a nice Dip. The Chicken sandwich was the large portion which was great to share and was very filling. The hummus ful was a meal on its own. These 3 plates 2 guys could not put it all down and was a reasonable $30 for a sit down lunch. With a full menu and even kids options at $10 I see some great success as word will spread. When we had first walked-in, we were surprised to see how small the restaurant was. However, we then noticed that most of the guests were doing take-out as opposed to dine-in. We were able to find a table for four, which was perfect for us. When we walked-up to the front counter to place our order, we were greeted by a kind hostess, whom took our orders without any issue. We then sat down, and watched as our orders were being prepared. We had to wait about fifteen minutes for all of our meals to be ready. We were surprised to see that the margarita pizza had olives on it, despite not seeing it on the menu. However, we just scooped them off since my children didn't want to eat the olives. For the falafel and kabab wraps, we were surprised to see how large they were, and for only $10.00! The kabab wrap (which I had asked for without onions), had two large pieces of kabab, which filled the wrap, along with the sumac and tomatoes. I enjoyed how tasty the wrap tasted, along with how filling it was. My mother also commented on how delicious the falafel tasted. Considering the prices that we had paid, we certainly go our money's worth! The service was also excellent, as we were brought our wraps directly to our table, while the pizza was placed on the table near to our table. Everyone was kind and considerate, making our stay a pleasant one. There were so many menu items to choose from, it was hard to narrow it down. Will definitely be back to try other items the next time around!

I like the 4 in 1 which allows you to sample different toppings at once. It's become my most preferred. The bread is doughy but depending on the option(s) picked, it may fall apart. Service is good. They pump out orders rapidly even when busy. Rarely do they miss ingredients, but rectify those errors. I've dined in more than take out. For a small establishment, it seems to be doing well. Draws in crowds at times. Food is prepped in front of you. Area is clean. Toppings are generous, as are the staff. The washroom is also clean and adjacent to the checkout counter.
