This couple owned juice shop is my favorite since moving to Glendale. The sweetest people and a wonderful menu full of smoothies, açaí bowls and juices. The juices are all made fresh daily and placed in the refrigerator for quick pick up. Their smoothies are all customizable, delicious and well priced. They have a rewards card as well. The shop is very clean and big. No seating inside or outside except for a small bench while you wait for your order to be made, but you don't really need it. Great spot to stop in for a quick, healthy snack on the go. read more

The cashier was so kind-- welcomed me, asked if it was my first time then gave a good explanation of the menu. He offered to make custom smoothie that wasn't on the menu as well as a sample and free size up for my first time. The actual smoothie was so good, it was all juice and no ice + water added. Would definitely go out of my way to come here again read more

New year, healthier you? Well I found the perfect spot for you to kickstart that journey . I stumbled upon Dr juice and I'm so happy that I did. Upon arriving the owners greeted me with so much enthusiasm. I found out it is a newly opened spot where they serve everything from delicious açaí bowl to crafty smoothies. The ambiance is so welcoming and I loved all the decor. The owner recommended their açaí and he also recommended a smoothie that was off the menu, where the base of the smoothie is OJ. Shortly after both items were ready. The açaí bowl was so full of flavor, so fresh. The walnuts and honey really made the whole thing so delicious. The smoothie was so refreshing and delicious. I found out that They also serve immunity shots that are made daily and my favorite part was that they sweeten everything with honey or dates. So go visit Dr. Juice and make 2024 your health year! read more

A lovely neighborhood spot! I went with my four year old and we ordered the California Dreamin' smoothie and a chia seed pudding. The smoothie tasted great, my son loved it -- and it was easy to customize it to our liking. I was also really impressed with the chia seed pudding -- they added a huge scoop of almond butter that made it really filling. Eat your heart out Erewhon! I'll be back to try their immunity shots and their overnight oats in the summer :) Friendly and attentive staff too. Don't sleep on this place! read more

I was really disappointed with this juice place. (Dr. Juice) not even a (Nurse Juice) The drink was watered down and definitely not fresh like they advertise. I ordered a green juice and it was horrible with a strange aftertaste. The service was also very slow and that guy is so rude. I waited almost 20 minutes for one drink. On top of that, the prices are way too high for the quality you get. Sadly, I won't be coming back and wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for real fresh juice. read more

Had it twice now. Delicious. Super clean spot, ingredients seem fresh and the options for smoothies, juices and acai bowls are many. The owner or manager I've interfaced with both times remembered me on my second visit, and as a former food service guy myself, that always leaves an impression with me and shows someone likely has a high attention to detail. Great spot, staff is excellent, and they have SOLID options with some great ingredients... this is NOT one of your run of the mill, franchise smoothie spots. Last thing... the presentation on the last smoothie I got and the flavor of both was the definition of top tier smoothies in my opinion... they ain't cheap, but they are worth every dollar. I shoulda taken photos but I was thirsty, dammit! Oh and they got punchcards like most spots, so go try em! FYI...this is not a paid review, I'm a legit customer and I'm telling you, this spot is worth trying. If you're a smoothie snob who thrives on spots like Sunlife Organics, this place isn't that bougie, but it's excellent from my two visits thus far, and this will be my go to spot in Glendale. read more

Amazing customer service from a family owned business. So sweet and helpful, and gave us samples of our bowls to make sure we liked it. Everything is made from scratch. Perfect for hot days. They have many vegan options and everything is healthy, fresh, and organic. They also have their own free parking in a lot right out in front. The inside is adorable and colourful. There are fresh fruit and vegetables everywhere. They also have loyalty cards that can be stamped so that returning customers get perks. When I first saw all of the 5 star reviews I was shocked and I thought people were making things up, but this place really is that friendly and that yummy! read more

Dr Juice - Pick up area - Acai Bowls Near Me - Glendale, California

I had high hopes when I ordered a juice here, but what I received was, without exaggeration, one of the most disappointing drinks I've ever paid for. It was so watered down it could've been mistaken for slightly sweetened sink water. There was zero freshness, zero depth, and certainly zero indication that real fruit had been involved in the making of this sad excuse for a beverage. It tasted like it came straight from a dusty bottle sitting on the bottom shelf of a gas station cooler--bland, cheap, and utterly forgettable. To call it "juice" is generous. If you're someone who enjoys paying a premium for something that tastes like diluted concentrate left out in the sun, then congratulations--you've found your new go-to spot. But if you're actually looking for something remotely flavorful, refreshing, or worth your time and money, don't waste either here. And let's talk about the price--because for what they're charging, you'd expect something organic, cold-pressed, and served with a smile. Instead, you're basically paying top dollar for glorified fruit-flavored water in a plastic cup. I've had better juice out of a vending machine for a fraction of the cost. Seriously, save yourself the regret and take a short walk--just two blocks down--to Juice Stop. They know what they're doing, and you'll actually leave with a drink that tastes like it came from real fruit, not a chemistry set. Honestly, even Jamba Juice is miles ahead of this place--and that's saying something. read more
