(But to be honest, we've seen their trucks many times in the neighborhood so we knew they were legit.) It took about six days to get an appointment but it wasn't an emergency so we were okay. Couldn't have gone better. Raul showed up early within the 8-12 window, blew out and unclogged the line. No more leaking inside the walls! No more wet towels and full bucket! They charged me $158 for a service call and I couldn't be happier. Will definitely keep their number handy.

The highest praise for Steve's 5 Star Service! I'm absolutely astonished with their service and so…read morehappy I chose this company to handle my HVAC replacement. They provided white glove service from quotation all the way through installation. I was simple to book a same day inspection and quote request for a new HVAC unit online. The repair technician Angel Perez was just that, an absolute angel. He was unbelievably kind and knowledgeable. After meeting with him and hearing him speak to other members of the company over the phone, I knew this was a special company. The employees spoke to each other like family. Once I submitted my signed contact online, Angel thanked me for choosing them and welcomed me to the family. Contract provides excellent warranty on parts and labor. Unit included install of ecobee smart thermostat, which I am in love with! Not sure how I got by all this time without one. By far the best quoted price out of the four I received. On the day of installation I received a text update with a photo and name of the lead installation technician Jon Neves. He and his team arrived right now time and finished the work exactly at their provided estimated completion time. The team placed a mat by the front door entrance to my house, which was a very nice touch, covered carpeted areas where they would be walking. After the job was complete they vacuumed their work space and it was like they weren't even in the house. The group of guys working in the installation took great care in everything they did. My installation required a crane to get the unit on top of my house and The Purple Crane was in and out quickly. The crane didn't disrupt my neighbors or even the trash service that morning. The crane was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Highly recommend Steve's 5 Star Service. They offer a service membership for less than $20 a month to handle HVAC tune ups, water heater flushes, and any service needs. You read that correctly, they also do plumbing! They will now be my go to for any plumbing needs. I'm due for a new water heater and I will be contacting them in the near future to handle my replacement. Steve's 5 Star Service took such great care of my baby girl and I during the heat. They were urgent to get us some reprieve from the heat and cool air into our home again. They are the nicest group of people I've ever hired. True to their word, take great pride in their work, take respectful care of their customers and provide easy breezey service. Shout out to the wonderful team that assist me on this project: Angel Perez, Jon Neves, Brad, Javier and The Purple Crane. Thank you thank you! I cannot thank you all enough! It was a pleasure working with you. Breana Cumberland Smith Chino, CA

Herb made the entire process and assessment so easy, and he found the problem within just 5 minutes. He didn't even charge us for the assessment, which says a lot these days considering he still has to spend his time and gas to come out. Herb is friendly, down to earth, patient, and thorough from start to finish. This review honestly doesn't do him justice. We're already planning to use Alpine for a full plumbing and AC renovation on our home, and we're looking forward to being lifelong customers. Couldn't be happier with the service. Highly recommend Herb and this team to anyone who needs an honest, skilled plumber.

Originally had a plumber sent out from Alpine this morning which he did not have the correct equipment. Following the miscommunication on my part (Plumbing vs HVAC tech) the owner Vince personally called me and told me that he was sending out another tech in the next hour that had the correct HVAC equipment to get the pipe cleared. (He said the drain pipe is a grey area between Plumbing/HVAC as while it drains into the sewer, that the plumbers don't usually work with pipes that small.) Incredible service! And really appreciate the owner calling me to make it right. We'll certainly call Alpine back the next time that we need help.

The owner, Christian, came out to give us an estimate on a problem with the shower not shutting…read moreoff. He explained that since we live in an old house, the parts would take a day or so to find. Other plumbers have told us, "No one makes the old parts anymore, we'll need to replace the whole valve system as opposed to just rebuilding." Christian knew his stuff & said if we replace everything it will cost more but rebuilding will save you money. It will take a day or so to get the parts. The parts are always available, you just have to find the right supplier. Anthony showed up right on time with a helper. He explained everything, & completed the valve repair on the shower. They cleaned up after themselves & left no mess for me to clean. My Hubby asked him to check the 2nd bathroom toilet which had been running. They replaced the float mechanism, angle stop, & the wax seal at the floor which also had been leaking. As they were getting ready to go we heard a loud beeping coming from under the kitchen sink... I'd forgotten we had a small water leak detector under there. Garbage disposal was leaking, and the 55 year old sink was rusting & leaking. Gave us an estimate for repairing problems. I asked for a estimate to replace entire sink, faucet & disposal. Anthony came back a few days later to work in the kitchen.. Christian, the owner, was in the area, so he stopped by & joined Anthony & they replaced kitchen sink, faucet & garbage disposal & re-hooked up the dishwasher & the reverse osmosis water softener tank... I was a little skeptical because in the past other plumbers have not wanted to get under that sink & mess with everything. Cruz plumbing guys were professional, knowledgeable, courteous & clean... Oh my, everything is so shiny & new, & I now have a new faucet that pulls out & it has a button that allows me to spray, too!! I've been living with a kitchen sink, from when the house was built in the 1960's. Through the years there's always been problems with the kitchen sink & faucet. You can tell he's passionate about doing things the right way instead of just getting the job done as quickly as possible. He made me feel comfortable from the get go. He was always respectful, patient, and took the time to explain everything so I actually understood what was going on. I never felt rushed or talked down to, which I really appreciated. I also noticed he uses high quality materials instead of the cheapest parts. We talked about how important longevity is, and it was obvious he cares about fixing things the right way so they last. That kind of attention to detail builds so much trust, and that's hard to find these days. On top of all that, Kevin is just a genuinely great person. He's easy to talk to, has a great attitude, and somehow makes a stressful plumbing problem feel a lot less stressful. I actually enjoyed chatting with him while he worked.
