We knew Danielle would be great to work with when she came recommended by our son's pediatrician…read morebut what we didn't expect was the level of service we would  receive during the process. We decided to reach out to Danielle while working with another sleep consultant agency. The other agency was unable to help us when we asked for assistance with our son who was taking 2 hours every night to fall asleep. We were exhausted and in desperate need of help. Danielle was extremely attentive and compassionate during our initial call, giving us pointers to help ease our bedtime struggles. Following the call, we implemented her suggestions and saw an immediate improvement. Instead of 2 hours, it took just 30 minutes to get our son to sleep. We decided to hold out with the other agency a bit longer because our son was still too young to begin working with Danielle for official sleep training. A few weeks later, when our son was  4 months old, and waking every hour we knew what we had to do- contact Danielle and ditch the other consultants ASAP. We reached out to Danielle and received a response within a few hours. Next thing we knew we had a contract and working plan to implement. The next night we did our first night of sleep training. Our first night he fell asleep within 18 minutes - what a victory! I got to say good night to our 6 year old and watch some tv with my husband...I felt human again! The next 3 weeks we worked on training for naps and weaning at night time. The best part of working with Danielle was that she let us work at a pace we felt comfortable with by giving us plenty of options. She never forced anything on us and made herself available via text, email or phone to talk through things. We were truly impressed by Danielle's ability to problem solve whenever we hit a roadblock or were stressed about a short nap etc. Once we completed our time together she kept herself available for final questions and was very helpful in providing a plan to move forward. When we started out with Danielle we had a baby that was waking 8x a night for undetermined amounts of time. After working with Danielle our baby wakes 1-2 times a night and with her help we will soon have him down to 1 or none wake-ups (again we are taking this at our own pace). Our son is able to put himself to sleep with no tears, sleep is no longer the dreaded part of our day-- all thanks to Danielle's guidance! We are so thankful to have found Danielle and would recommend her to any family struggling with their child's sleep.

I highly recommend Danielle as a sleep consultant. She helped immensely with my toddler (34 months…read moreold) as well as my infant (10 months old). My toddler went through a horrible sleep regression. He went from sleeping through the night to needing a parent at his bedside in order to fall asleep. When he woke up in the middle of the night, he'd cry and cry. Eventually, it became easier to have him sleep in our bed. It was very rough and no one was sleeping well. My pediatrician recommended a few sleep consultants, including Danielle. She exuded confidence and instilled hope immediately after the first phone call. Her sleep plan was detailed and thorough. After a couple weeks, my toddler now sleeps on his own in his own room ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE NIGHT! My infant was still waking up to nurse 1-3 times per night and after a couple weeks of Danielle's help, he also sleeps ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE NIGHT! It's incredible! If you need sleep help, look no further!!

Whenever we've had an urgent medical concern, she has responded promptly to our calls or messages through the patient portal, offering helpful guidance and, when needed, arranging a timely appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Sudha Karupaiah to anyone looking for an experienced, caring, and responsive primary care physician.

If you choose this doctor as your primary care physician prepare to have serious difficulties…read moregetting a first appointment, and if you have a serious urgent health matter, you are simply out of luck. They like to schedule out new patients many months in advance, if you call in summer, you might have the opportunity to be seen in early fall. Also, prepare to be questioned heavily whether or not she is really your primary care physician. They want to see a picture of your insurance card, and if you send it they may still have issues with sccipa or what have you. I have an urgent health matter, where an unstable ankle continues to grind both of my achilles into the ground from overload, I am losing more and more of my mobility, and I need a referral to an orthopedic specialist urgently. They couldn't do it. Yesterday I got an appointment for next week, it was cancelled twice, and then I got heavily questioned whether or not I was really their patient. They expected proof of my insurance card, and told me they were going to give me a curtesy call back once they resolved issues on their end. It's just a bad experience to have this doctor as your pcp and then keep having to proof that you deserve to get an appointment in a timely manner that would make sense for your health. Their severe insurance issues sounded semi plausible to me, but then I was somehow able to schedule an appointment with a different provider right away, before I even switched to them as my pcp, my mind was blown! This goes to show this clinic is unnecessarily difficult to work with and extremely unwelcoming to new patients. I don't know about the doctor herself, I never got the chance to see her within a reasonable timeframe. If you have months to spare, you might have a better experience than I did, I can only speak for my own stressful, disappointing experience and the unhelpful front staff that tried to tell me I needed to wait many months to be seen for a referral for an urgent serious health matter. Horrible! Edit: I blame the doctor herself first and foremost, I believe she has great influence over how her appointments are being handled. Delaying necessary medical care is causing medical harm, often irreversible. If you have her as a pcp she may cause you direct medical harm by letting her staff (the guy who is the manager in particular) block you from accessing your specialist in time, because you cannot see her for a referral, and she is the only one able to make it unless you can switch your pcp! I told them I can't walk, I have a degenerative condition, it's urgent, they didn't care and refused to book me, since I am "not established" with them, but she was my assigned doctor by my insurance! The medical board should review them, I don't think they should be allowed to be anyone's new primary care physician.

Staff was very helpful and friendly over the phone even though I mentioned I was calling around. Eventually booked my appointment with Dr. Agarwal's office. Upon returning my sleep study device the next day, the staff informed me there was a patient who did not show so if I wanted to, I could be seen the same day. Great news!!! So, I was able come in the day prior and have my follow up with results the next day. Amazing. Truly thankful for Dr. Agarwal and his team for being so helpful and accommodating. Now about the care I received. Dr. Agarwal is highly knowledgeable and was willing to ask all of the hundreds of questions I had. What I would recommend for patients is, Dr. Agarwal can speak a bit fast so do pay attention or ask him to repeat or slow down if needed. Lots of information to share so I was able to fully follow and understand.

One tip that was given to me was that babies shouldn't be full when put down which in hindsight is garbage. Every baby is different. The lady we dealt with was nice. This momma was TIRED and needed time to get things done...or enjoy some time on the couch. I called Sleep Sisters and spoke with Melissa, I'm sure she heard desperation in my voice. It was my last resort (I'd read a few sleep books already), and she was so nice and helpful! She explained the science behind sleep and went over our current sleep schedule and routine. Melissa gave me a plan, complete with exact times and gave me some options as far as soothing my daughter. I loved that she left this part up to me to decide. She also helped me with starting to wean her, which I thought would be impossible. Turns out, it was pretty easy after all. Within a week, my baby started sleeping 12 hours a night (knock on wood) and will go down for naps with very brief crying. Sure, there are days that she will not nap - but she's still in her crib playing quietly. That NEVER happened before. I hope that in the next week, we will get her naps on par with our nights. But in the meantime? I'll enjoy it! Thank you so much Melissa. You saved me, seriously. I was beginning to wonder if I would ever consider a second child. There's now a glimmer of hope.

I visited Dr. Shetty a little more than a year ago because I was having trouble with my sleep…read more While my crummy United Healthcare insurance would only cover an at-home sleep study, I opted to pay out-of-pocket for an in-lab sleep study with Dr. Shetty's practice to get a more detailed and sensitive readout of my sleep. I paid about $1300 for this. I arrived in the evening around 9PM and stayed until the next morning around 7AM. They attached about 30 leads to my body and monitored my sleep. They offer a prescription Ambien if you have difficulty falling asleep. They have a comfortable room and bed to stay overnight. The results came back within a week and it was shown that I had a mild sleep apnea. Dr. Shetty is very to the point yet courteous. He explained my options and I decided to go with a ResMed Airsense 11 CPAP. It arrived via Apria (a CPAP supply company) and after about six weeks, I became much more comfortable sleeping with it on and after a year, I have grown very comfortable with it and really can't imagine sleeping without it. I feel like my sleep is way more complete and I feel less tired during the day. With that minor change, I feel like I was able to make other improvements in my life like working out again, eating better, and losing weight. I do wish Dr. Shetty's office had a better office admin team. Talking to them sounds like you're talking to someone through a tin can and they don't have a strong web presence to coordinate scheduling of follow-up appointments.
