I need a refund for this! I have been coming to Tracy for years and also have family who's been coming here for 10+ years. I am so upset she ruined my hair. So disappointed at her lack of care... never thought I would be going through this nightmare at DQ salon. The quality of work has gone way down. I was just here 5 months ago. I showed her the picture of what I wanted like usual I was suppose to get golden blonde highlights with a root smudge. As you can see in the pictures my blonde was green, silver and had these orange patches all over my hair. She didn't even do a root smudge. What makes it worse is that she was acting like she wasn't seeing anything wrong with the hair. Then she said it would fade when I washed it and that due to me having long hair that it all didn't fit under the dyer. She is the professional and its her responsibility to ensure the hair is processing correctly. She obviously had to notice the orange patches at the very minimum when processing, at the shampoo bowl or when styling but choose not to fix it or care to. Danny kept starring at my hair knowing she messed up. I told her this wasn't what I asked for, and if she could fix it. Mind you it was closing time already. Shes rushed and put some toner or color on it but still failed to correct it. I still have orange patches and I all sorts of different colored of highlights. Horrible bleeding of colors too, absolutely no blending. Just a poor job. She charged me $250 and ruined my hair. Maybe she is tired of doing hair but the lack of care is not okay. She didn't take responsibility or apologize for her mistakes or for the bad service she provided. What a rip off! Im a business owner myself, so I understand people make mistakes but I gave her a second chance to fix it. Not acceptable and so unprofessional. If she couldn't fix her mistake how is it fair that she messed up my hair and still get to charge full price. She should of at least charged me half at the minimum since this is her mistake. I hate that I have to write this review but this is unacceptable. Please don't think the same thing happen to you even if you've been a long time customer. I've been scammed, I'll be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau. Now I have to spend more money to go somewhere to fix my hair. I told my sister about what happened to me and she had an appt with Tracy 3 days after me and unfortunately the same thing happened to her!!! The orange patches, the horrible blending and bleeding or colors. read more

Well I went to get a hair cut as usual and I always get it done by Bryan. I don't have an appointment but I asked Bryan if he had an opening and I was told yes within 30 min. Well, Mr. Danny Nguyen asked me if I had an appointment and I said so he had a horrible attitude towards me. After the 30 min passed he asked if I wanted a haircut and I say yes at this time from any of them, but he walk away and say "no you wait for him" he started speaking on his own language and he would turned around to look at me and laugh. It was obvious that he was making fun of me, as soon as another customer walks in he immediately took care of her and she didn't have an appointment. I know that because she was asked if she had one and said no. My daughter had a similar experience, he was pretty upset when he was cutting her hair. We drive al the way from Spring just to go see Bryan but after the way were treated by Danny we unfortunately will not be returning. Sorry Bryan! I really liked how you cut my hair. Danny is very rude and lacks professionalism when talking to customers. He didn't even answer me when I say hi to him. He just looked at me al mean and walk away. read more

I Booked an appointment with Brian to get my hair washed and flat ironed for my birthday. upon arrival Tracey greeted me and asked how she could help me I let her know I had an appointment with Brian. Brian was right there he looked at me never greeted me. he was providing service to another client. About 10 mins pass Brian finally comes over and says to me its going to be 10-15 minutes and its going to be $60. I say okay. I have now been waiting for 30 minutes. Brian has a lady come get me to wash my hair. once the lady applies the conditioner to my hair she walks away and just leaves me in the chair for about 10minutes giving Brian more time with his other client. While waiting Tracy asked why I was just sitting at the shampoo bowl and Brian said she is getting conditioner... Brian puts his current client under the dryer and comes to rinse the conditioner out of my hair. he is being kind of rough and rushing he starts talking lowly to me saying he can't do my hair, he can't do my hair anymore. I say okay I will go somewhere else. you should've told me this when I called to make the appointment I have been waiting for 30 minutes I have Plans and I am going to be late. Brian proceeds to go on about how he can't do my hair because I have too much hair and it takes up too much of his time and he is always exhausted after doing my hair because its just to much hair. I get up from the sink with my hair soaked and tell him I will pay for the hair wash and go somewhere else. Brian then says at least let me put your hair in a pony tail and I politely say no I walked to the register to pay. now Tracy and Brian are speaking in another language so I have no clue whats being said. But Brian then says I can do you hair for you today after he has already expresses how its too much hair for him and it. exhaust him to do it. I declined his offer. Tracey said I didn't have to pay and I left. Brian was very unprofessional I have been coming to get my hair done by him through out the years if he wanted me to pay more because it took more time he could've said that and I would've been happy paying more because I have long hair and I know it takes time. I don't appreciate how Brian handled the situation it was not professional. If you have Thick, long hair don't book with Brian it will be too much work for him. read more

I have been coming to the salon for at least the last decade. Recently, I brought my daughter for her very first color and she was so excited about the results of her new hairstyle. Since I have been coming to the salon for so long, Danny actually helped Tracy to do my daughters hair while Tracey was doing my hair. It ended up being a group effort. It was so much fun. Danny is the strong, silent type who doesn't talk much, but when he does, it's always fun to hear what he has to say. Tracey is very warm and kind. She always tries to make sure her clients are happy and has succeeded in doing this for me for so many years. I consider them to be my friends. Brian also works at the salon and he does a great job of cutting both of my son's hair. I highly recommend him as well. the salon is 100% a hidden gem. I hope you can enjoy it as much as we do. read more

I've been looking for someone who could do icy blond highlights since I moved to Houston in 2011. I even drove back to Dallas for a while to my hairdresser there until she retired in 2016. I've gone to a few places in Houston since and was never happy with the results. Recently, I was recommended to Danny by a coworker and took a chance. So glad I did! I showed him a few pictures from the last time I had my hair done in Dallas, And he perfectly nailed it! Danny and Tracey are the most talented and kind people you will ever come across. They are magicians when it comes to your hair. Let me tell you why you need to travel to Katy, Texas for their services: 1. Danny has a full-sleeve tattoo. Everyone knows that the best hair stylists have full-sleeve tattoos. 2. When Tracey washes your hair, it's like all of the sins that have been weighing you down over the past ten years just disappear. I literally fell asleep because it was so relaxing. 3.The restroom in their shop is cleaner than the restroom in my house. Great service by even greater people. Doesn't get much better. read more

I'm very particular with my bangs, and she always cuts them perfectly. I love the way she cuts my layers, they are perfect every time. There prices are a steal for the quality haircut you receive. Everyone I've recommended them to loves them. I've never had any services from Danny, but from the end product of his services, his clients are very happy. The colors always turn out great on his clients (at least from the one's I've seen!) I highly recommend this salon!!! read more

I went in for a full color dark dye, no cut just color and the results were as expected. I went from a mix of blond and brown colors to just one dark color and it was good. Rating 5 stars because it was a straight forward service. The only thing I'd like to express is the price was a little more steep than the range I am use to paying for this type of service but not over exaggerating. The staff was nice and one color, wash, dry, and style took 2 hours. read more

Danny does a great job on both cut and color of my short hairstyle. Price is very reasonable.

I went to this place for the first time after reading good reviews. I made the appointment at 3:30 in the afternoon and asked to be cut by one of the owners. When I walked in at 3:30 they said to wait so I waited for about 20 min. one woman finally told me to come to the chair and she says she's not the owner. I told her I asked for the owner to cut my hair and the guy name Danny said "are you the one who rescheduled?" I said "yes" then he said "since you rescheduled you have to wait a while." What? I said then "the person who took my appointment should have told me to come later." He kept saying "it's because I rescheduled I had to wait a long time." I was being penalized for rescheduling my appointment! read more

Look forward to hair appointment again in four weeks. read more

I would give them 0 if i could. I walked in today wanting my hair cut and dyed so the lady did the hair strand test and she said no i cant do that because it turned red i said ok. Can you cut my hair then and dye that strand to black she said ok. She washed my hair and and asked how much do I want to cut and i said just bangs she said no i have to blend it with your hair and i have to cut a lot of hair i said ok I don't want u to cut it so can you just dye the strand of hair she said no i can't find it. I got up and told her after all that I'll pay 10 dollars she said no pay 20. I said no because you didn't even dye that strand. So the owner danny came and said yes you can pay 10 dollars and she started yelling at him. I said do you want to take that 10 dollars or should i leave she said no I'll call the police i said ok I'm leaving. She followed me and she started cussing me and I pulled my phone out to record her and asked her what did u call me she said nothing and i walked away and she kept cussing me. Wouldn't even recommend it to an enemy. read more

I made an appointment last Tuesday to get some highlights based on all the positive reviews of this place. I was unhappy with my previous stylist and needed a change. Tracey was able to get me in on Saturday, and I have never had a better experience! I had about 3 different shades of blonde going the length of my hair and Tracey was able to look at my hair and know exactly what needed to be done. She fixed everything that was going on and gave me the most gorgeous shade of blonde I've ever had! She even took the time to give me a trim even though I hadn't originally booked one. Tracey took her time and gave me the best result imaginable! Their prices cannot be beat for the quality you receive. Run, don't walk, to this salon--you will not be disappointed! read more
