Advertise blizzards 0.85 cents, my son went in who is 16 to buy one for family and gets to the counter, price is $25! He felt pressured and wasn't sure what to do so bought them. Told you can only get deal if you download app. I called to ask for a refund and asst manager asked to get my number so his manager can call me sometime he is in next which might be next day or so but refuses to refund. I seriously love this place; the people that work there are all super young and strangely responsible- old souls and all different personalities that blend well together. Whitney is my favorite- like my FAVORITE. My husband frequents here nightly, literally, and they make him a large chocolate icecream extra hot fudge heath blizzard. They also have orange Julius and the strawberry banana one is delish. Their freeze's are great and I prefer cherry- slush's are really good especially in summer time. You can't beat this one- 100% recommend. read more

I'm glad I don't live very close to any DQ/OJ locations (at least, not that I know of). I swear I'm still catching up from a childhood of neglect (didn't have my first taste of DQ til I was in college and yes, I was born in the United States). In college, my go-to DQ treat was a medium vanilla cone, dipped in jimmies, then in chocolate dip. THEN, the stupid health/food safety people said that wasn't ok anymore. Still, I kept getting my vanilla cone dipped in chocolate. The last few years, I've been discovering the joys of the Blizzard. Oh, Salted Caramel/Toffee bits. Oh, cookies and cream. Reese's PB cup. Yummeh. I especially love that they now have that mini size, which is really almost more than I can handle anyway. read more

My boyfriend loooooves DQ so we go into this store quite often. Our last visit was anything but pleasant. There was no one in the store but two employees behind the counter along with the Manager/Owner? We came in an instantly realized we didn't have our masks on but we stood well over 6 feet away from the counter. The female Manager glared at us and could not have been any more rude. What has happened to simply communicating in a respectul way, "I'm sorry but we won't be able to serve you without a mask as required by the ordinance". It's so simple to be kind, speak to customers as though you are speaking to a friend - especially now when people are struggling. Easier said - just be nice! read more

These guys (and gals) are friendly and full of facts. I hadn't been to a Dairy Queen in ages so it was a throwback to see them serve blizzards and flip them upside down for customers. Unfortunately my experience with this DQ was not good. I ordered an ice cream birthday cake for my son's birthday party online, and chose the pickup time to be two days later at a selected time, just as I was instructed to do via the DQ website. I spent more time than I care to admit in picking the design and customizing it to what I thought my son would like. I received an email with a confirmation number, the DQ Southglenn location address, and other standard information. When I go to pick up my cake at the appropriate time - the store has absolutely no record of my order. I show the clerk my confirmation email, which he acknowledges, but still can obviously do nothing to replace my ordered cake since I was picking it up on the way to the party venue. This may be a fault of the larger DQ corporation - maybe they have a faulty online cake ordering system. And to this store's credit (or luck) they did have a substitute Batman ice cream cake pre-made in the freezer. It was a round cake though, and I had ordered a sheet cake to serve more people, so I picked up three packs of Dilly bars - I'm not sure, and I was in too much of a hurry to ask, but I think that the clerk gave me a deal on the total price - I paid $42 for the largest size round cake you can get + 3 dilly bar packages. The above paragraph almost makes me give this location 2 or 3 stars, but another point against them - around the time that this store opened, on the day I was scheduled to pick up the cake, I tried calling them to make sure that my cake was ready - I tried calling them about 10 times, and had my boyfriend call them around that many times as well - each time no answer. The noises on the other end of the line made it seem like the phones at this location were completely disconnected or broken. As a final point - I realize I didn't do my due diligence the day or day after I ordered my cake - I should have called this location, or visited in person, to make sure that my order had been received. However, given that I had an actual confirmation number for my order in my possession, I really thought this location would have successfully put my order together. read more

We got a cute little cake to take to a friends for dinner. It had flowers around the sides and it turned out they matched the flowers she had painted on her patio fence. It was a chocolate and vanilla ice cream cake with a chocolate cookie center. It was very good and we all enjoyed it very much. The employees were helpful and friendly. read more

I love this DQ! I have gone at peak times and down times and the service is the same- friendly, quick, and patient if I happen to have my kiddo with me. The freezer is always stocked with fresh looking dessert cakes. The restaurant as a whole is clean which can be tough to maintain on busy days/nights. It's sticky, drippy ice cream and lots of kids! I'm happy to satisfy my ice cream cravings here. read more

I am very disappointed, I went in to a very unpleasant younger gentle man at the front not only did he interrupt me while he was taking my order he was too busy talking to his friend to even pay attention. I get it might get slow and friends might come to keep you company but when there is a paying customer you might want to pay attention. Then I got my drink I ordered a blue raspberry arctic rush with ice cream. I got a grape arctic rush, I didn't realize till I got to my car which was in front of Whole Foods. I drove over and went inside and asked for them to fix it. I got major attitude like it was a huge inconvenience and then he brought back another grape arctic rush! And said that's all he can do! I was super disrespected and disappointed. Will not be returning! The nicest, friendliest, and most helpful staff I have ever encountered in a treat and fast food restaurant. Every time my family goes to Streets at South Glenn we hit DQ for an Orange Julius and Blizzards that they actually serve to you upside down just like they were meant to be served. Their treats are cold and the service is warm and inviting. Did you know it's about the same caloric value as frozen yogurt! But tastes wayyyy better!!! Love this DQ!! read more
