Overall was not right, we walked in on a Tuesday morning at around 10, I ordered a cinnamon roll, and an Anaheim panini with a cold brew. I received my cinnamon roll which was cold, asked them to warm it up and the response was a smirk. Then my panini came out and a hair was found in my food. The cold brew also tasted like it had spoiled milk inside of it, I asked them to remake it, and they did but seemed tense. We came here for breakfast and was excited because the menu looks good. Unfortunately the service was below average as the girl taking our order was sassy and did not seem like she wanted to be there. We were excited about the food but were disappointed by all of it. The house potatoes were bland and dry (even with ketchup) and the entrees were just disappointing. The ambiance was nice but just overall a let down. We tried the cinnamon roll and it was pretty average. Probably good if it was made fresh and warmed thoroughly. But it had been sitting out for a while and thrown in the microwave for too short of a time. I do not think I will be trying corner bakery again. read more

I've came here a few times and the service was great and food was good. I went in today and placed my order. I picked up my food and once I opened the to go box I noticed my bread was severely charred/burnt and called the restaurant and the employee told me it wasn't burnt to him when he looked at it but it definitely wasn't burnt. I told him I was on my lunch and couldn't come back that's not right. Spoke with manager, advised him of the situation and he asked me what I wanted him to do and advised him I could not come back. I had to eat the burnt panini because I had no other option. Customer service definitely fell short today, I won't be returning there. Seems like no one cares about the industry they work in anymore. My one disappointment was that they did not give an option to tip when using my card. I don't travel with cash and I personally think every business should give this option. On our way to the movies we were looking for a quick breakfast and had never been to a Corner Bakery Cafe before. We placed our order with the woman behind the register looking like we were annoying her by even existing! My wife ordered a cinnamon muffin that was simply tossed on a plate and handed to her. She ended up going back to ask them to warm it thinking maybe that might mask the staleness of it... nope, still dry and stale! I ordered a bacon egg and cheese panini add tomato and an espresso (listed on their board for $1.79 and the woman taking our order looked at me and said what?! I had to point and clarify what I was looking for... is espresso not an option when you have it listed up there as an overpriced menu option?! I call it over prices because about .5 ounces of "espresso" showed up at the table!). The sandwich was a greasy mess and really had no flavor. I paid extra to add tomato and it was a tiny unripe slice per giant half of greasy bread! The espresso, just coffee.... Okay, so my wife likes this place and I was game for trying it again but when we go for lunch, I am ordering lunch, not breakfast. And I was very happy with what I ordered. First, everyone on Sunday was super nice, two thumbs up! I ordered the pick 2 and had the Santa Fe salad and the Meatball Panini. Both were delicious. I was pleasantly surprised that the salad had a bit of a spicy bite to it, right up my alley. And the sandwich was tasty with the side of marinara. My wife did the pick 2 also even though she only eats the salad. Don't recall what salad she had but she ordered the BBLT as her sandwich (which I always end up getting) and it was really tasty I must say. 3 big slices of nice crispy bacon and fresh lettuce and tomatoes. Love the Breakfast - the Anaheim panini is great as long as the Anaheinm plate of eggs!! Loved it- however the coffee always seemed not hot and just not that tasty - weak. The sandwiches are really good too although they are a bit skimpy on the meats and cheese more bread but all fresh all good!! They do seem to get orders wrong a lot - don't seem they look at what people are ordering!! The muffins are outstanding!! My husband and I have been here before and always had a pleasant experience. We were looking forward to having our first breakfast out since the lockdown. We wore masks inside, as did the people who took our orders and made our food. The whole thing was spoiled by a server who came out of the kitchen holding our breakfast tray, wearing a mask under his chin, not covering his nose or mouth. It made me nauseous to see it. I've had ups and downs with this store. I've eaten here once and ordered catering for work several times. One time, I put a breakfast order in at 7pm and the next morning I was picking it up at 7.30am. The order was perfect. Another time, I ordered delivery on a lunch order. I didn't call the store till it was already late and I literally got "oh the driver just arrived" and basically blamed it on the driver (3rd party). I was furious once the driver arrived and he apologised, let me know that he'd notified the store he was running late and they were supposed to of let me know. Most of the time my deliveries arrive on time and the food is always good. It is also nice that they have muffins, cinnamon rolls, croissants etc ready every morning so if you get a call while you're driving to pick up something on the way, you don't have to get bagels again. read more

We were the only people at the counter and stood there for about ten minutes, people saw us and ignored us, talked, were on their phones. Never order from Uber eats! They always cancel your order and never even try to make it because the workers are extremely lazy. They also often forget your order and mess up anything you try to substitute or change. I couldn't find any reason to not give this location 5 stars. The service was quick. Our cashier, Samantha was super pleasant, she had a smile on for every customer that we saw her help. The only criticism that I would give is that there aren't many vegan options. If you dont care about that, this is a great place to stop for breakfast. It was pretty busy on a Sunday morning. We were lucky to get in before the church crowd let out. Even then, there were seats open and available but the restaurant was pretty busy. The decor is actually focused on places in Highlands Ranch, pretty impressive for a chain; check out the pictures on the wall. They have a great patio that overlooks HR parkway and Lucent. Not sure if its dog friendly but I kind of doubt it since you would have to walk your dog through the restaurant. This place wants really badly to be the Corner Bakery you think of when you want some yummy pastries, or to go out for coffee with a friend. The sad part is that they fail in the Bakery part of their shop. The baked goods are the same dried pre-made stuff you can find at Starbucks or Panera Bread. I was unimpressed. The staff is friendly, and the place is cute and clean. The things I like on the menu are not bakery items at all. Wonderful unsweetened fruit iced teas which is hard to find (example: Blackberry Iced Tea with no sugar or anything in it) They have a yummy breakfast scramble called the Anaheim Scrambler with veggies, meat and cheese in it. I'd come here just for that, but I'd pass on having bread or baked good with it. They have a good selection of salads, and you can find something vegetarian easily. Free Wi-fi, and they have coffee punch cards so you can earn a free coffee. Great Patio. Good kids meals with fruits, veggies, and you can get whole grain bread on the sandwiches. Just don't call them a bakery. This is my daughter's favorite place to dine in Highlands Ranch. She love the kids Alfredo noodles. I love that it comes with juice and fruit too! (You can get a delicious cookie instead of the fruit if you'd like.) I've tried several of the meals here including the soup (yummy) and the pancakes (delicious).
