They have only two locations; Danville, IL and Champaign, IL. I am usually never around these areas, so it has taken me awhile for my travels to take me near Jarlings... and good gosh, it was worth the drive! I have mostly visited 'ice cream' shacks but this one seems to use custard in their ice cream. Not sure what that entails, but good god, was this ice cream fantastic. I asked to see the coupon that I'd given the cashier but he had torn it in half and thrown it away. He got it out of the garbage but only gave me half, he kept giving me incorrect halves so I couldn't read the entire coupon anymore. I read that entire coupon twice before I even went into the store. I don't appreciate being conned like that. If dairy Queen won't honor their coupons they shouldn't mail them out.

A different waitress appeared and took over from there. She was efficient and took good care of us, but in a way, she wasn't as warm. She was no-nonsense and straight to the point. Our food was decent. My husband had The Special, which is a basic breakfast plate (eggs, French toast and bacon), I had the turkey club with fries, and my in-laws both had phily steak sandwiches with fries. The food didn't come out super fast, but that gave us time to settle-in and not feel rushed. It was quite nice and a change from what my husband and I are accustomed to where we live.
