He looks to the nurse and says "it's his prerogative". As he was leaving, I realized he hadn't said a single thing about my hair loss/regrowth, so when he asked if I had any last questions, I asked him for his opinion. He walked up to me, tugged at some hairs in the corner of my forehead, and said, "I see little hairs coming in. Are you satisfied?" I cannot come here because of him. Please be cautious in choosing to come here. I've never in my life had a doctor make me so uncomfortable. I switched to the Woodbridge location and Dr. Becker there is very nice and normal. And she actually listens to the specifics and nuances of your problem rather than just giving you whatever is the standard treatment with no thought like Dr. Kazemi. I cannot recommend enough the Woodbridge location, or just any location that Dr. Kazemi isn't at.

It felt like something in my septum was squishy and out of place after the accident. I was having trouble breathing and sleeping. I thought an ENT could look at it and find a solution. Gupta barely looked at my nose. He asked to look at my covered forehead wound, but I said I was not comfortable taking off my bandaid. The hospital that stitched me said I should keep it covered for 2 months. He seemed offended that I wouldn't let him. Then he left the room for awhile. Eventually he came back into the room with a long tube thing. He said it had a camera to look in my nose. The weird thing is he didn't even put it down my nose or anything. He just looked into it from the edge of my nose. He had already done that. Then he said there was no swelling and nothing wrong with it, while also saying to give it time. How would time help if there's nothing wrong with it? He basically said I was being silly and ignored my symptoms. I already had a second opinion lined up for a couple days later. That doctor said there was swelling and that there was a pocket of blood on one side that was closing off that nostril. She drained the blood and I could immediately breathe normal. So clearly Gupta just doesn't know what he is doing. To make matters worse. I then get a bill saying he charged my insurance $900 dollars for "surgery" which I learn was him pretending to use the endoscopy tube so he can charge more money. I messaged and called his office about this, but they ignored me. Don't bother going here.

Everything I have I owe to this face. I went to an urgent care center where they patched up the visible damage and took x-rays. Then they called and asked me to get a CT scan. When the CT scan results came back, they called me very concerned and insisted that I see an ENT immediately. They even made the appointment. When I arrived, the doctor reviewed the CT scan. I had it on a CD. He explained that he could see why they were concerned but assured me that the injuries were severe but did not pose a threat. He showed me the CT scan on the computer. I didn't know what the heck I was looking at, but he explained it. He said that the interior damage to my face would heal over time. There was one issue of the numbness. He said that he could do a surgery but it was not guaranteed that it would health the nerve, depending on the extent of the damage. So we scheduled surgery. It was across the street in the hospital. He came in while I was being prepped. Then after the surgery he explained how it went to Precious. Then I had a follow up visit followed by another follow up visit a month later. It's been about a year now. Most of the numbness is gone. There is only a very small portion of my face that is numb. I'm just as handsome as I was before which truth be told is a very low bar. Throughout the process the doctor explained the injuries, he showed me the CT scan, during the follow ups he was a good communicator always open to questions and always explaining the process. I had the impression that this doctor is very competent and caring. I also appreciate very much how he explained everything and was always willing to answer questions.

I have my 3 adult children, my husband and many friends go see her. She is the BEST - and it is obvious she LOVES what she does - she loves her patients - and her bedside manner is incredible - she is warm, intelligent, friendly and makes you feel important and comfortable (even wearing a paper gown!) - and she listens to your concerns. In the past 3 years I have had 5 instances of skin cancer - 1 basal cell under my nose that looked like a tiny little pimple but required Mohs surgery AND reconstructive plastic surgery the following day; 3 squamous cell that required Mohs surgeries; and 1 invasive malignant melanoma that required an immediate wide local excision. NONE of them looked like what a typical cancer of that type would look like. But Emily Thai has an EAGLE EYE and she can spot a questionable area on your skin quickly. I go in with a list of concerns every time I see her (which is every 3 months now) - and we go over each one - and then she finds things on her own that I never even saw. She is extremely thorough - and I TRUST HER completely. We work as a team - and if I have any questions about a new spot that could pop up - I can call her office and get an appt if needed. She is very watchful over my skin - and we don't take any chances. in addition to the 5 skin cancers I have had - I have had MANY atypical moles and pre-cancerous spots removed as well. Because Emily is that good - and she is stopping these areas before they turn into more skin cancers. I am a fair skinned, light eyed, blond-haired Irish girl who grew up in Texas - and has OVER-loved the sun and abused tanning beds for way too many years. I wish my younger self knew the damage that my older self is dealing with now. But now I am careful to stay out of the direct sun, use sunscreen and wear protective clothing - and go get my skin checked every 3 months by Emily Thai. I truly cannot say enough good things about Emily Thai and the Clinical Skin Center. She truly has saved my life and ensured that I have many more good years ahead. Get your skin checked people!

The area is also frequently blocked or congested, and even nasal corticosteroids, allergy shots (I'm on the 2nd level of maintenance) and antihistamines aren't fixing the issue. This has made it hard for me to continue the sport I love, scuba diving. Another issue is that when the surgery was done, he didn't put the plugs/hard gauze into my sinuses to hold my septum in place while it heals. From what I researched, and checking with another doctor, putting these in is the best practice. Now it almost feels like it reverted, and got worse. I paid him in full for the surgery, and for everything, but when I went back for a follow up and explained the issues, he kind of just said everything is fine, but... it's definitely not. I left a review on Google, and even that he didn't seem to care. So it's alarming, because if you have trouble with Dr Hwang, is he really going to help you? Or is he just going to write you off, like he did me? I'm really hoping if Dr Hwang could help me get this resolved and actually look for a real solution to these clear issues and not just blow it off. Considering he's a doctor, and this is what he does, surely there's a way to fix it. If he ever makes things right I'll remove this. As a new patient, I expected that my initial consultation with a knowledgeable doctor would provide ample time to discuss my concerns and allow the doctor to assess my condition thoroughly. Instead, she informed me I would only have 15 minutes to discuss one specific issue, which left me feeling frustrated and hesitant to seek care at this office. That makes me think that their doctors work with a timer, and while I believe and hope Dr. Gardner isn't that kind of doctor, unfortunately the lady's attitude suggested otherwise.

However, I later received an unexpected separate office visit charge in addition to the preventive exam billing. My concern was not the care itself, but the lack of transparency regarding billing. During the wellness visit, the provider briefly reviewed outside lab results I had brought with me, and I was later billed for a separate office visit associated with that discussion. I was not informed during the appointment that this could result in an additional charge. After reviewing my visit documentation, I also felt portions of the note did not fully reflect my understanding of the visit, particularly regarding the extent of evaluation performed beyond the wellness exam. After raising concerns and providing supporting documentation, the office acknowledged overlap between the preventive visit and additional billing and indicated the matter would be reviewed. However, I did not receive a final follow-up or resolution regarding the coding review or reimbursement request. I would encourage the practice to improve communication around preventive visit billing and provide more consistent follow-up during billing disputes.
