In my opinion, this doctor is a quack and at minimum doing predatory billing practices. I had an accident on a trip where I cut my forehead and hit my nose and felt something was wrong. It felt like something in my septum was squishy and out of place after the accident. I was having trouble breathing and sleeping. I thought an ENT could look at it and find a solution. Gupta barely looked at my nose. He asked to look at my covered forehead wound, but I said I was not comfortable taking off my bandaid. The hospital that stitched me said I should keep it covered for 2 months. He seemed offended that I wouldn't let him. Then he left the room for awhile. Eventually he came back into the room with a long tube thing. He said it had a camera to look in my nose. The weird thing is he didn't even put it down my nose or anything. He just looked into it from the edge of my nose. He had already done that. Then he said there was no swelling and nothing wrong with it, while also saying to give it time. How would time help if there's nothing wrong with it? He basically said I was being silly and ignored my symptoms. I already had a second opinion lined up for a couple days later. That doctor said there was swelling and that there was a pocket of blood on one side that was closing off that nostril. She drained the blood and I could immediately breathe normal. So clearly Gupta just doesn't know what he is doing. To make matters worse. I then get a bill saying he charged my insurance $900 dollars for "surgery" which I learn was him pretending to use the endoscopy tube so he can charge more money. I messaged and called his office about this, but they ignored me. Don't bother going here. read more

I'd like to start off by saying that I am in no way qualified to give an evaluation of a doctor. I'm just going to share my experience. I had an accident. My face was injured. Everything I have I owe to this face. I went to an urgent care center where they patched up the visible damage and took x-rays. Then they called and asked me to get a CT scan. When the CT scan results came back, they called me very concerned and insisted that I see an ENT immediately. They even made the appointment. When I arrived, the doctor reviewed the CT scan. I had it on a CD. He explained that he could see why they were concerned but assured me that the injuries were severe but did not pose a threat. He showed me the CT scan on the computer. I didn't know what the heck I was looking at, but he explained it. He said that the interior damage to my face would heal over time. There was one issue of the numbness. He said that he could do a surgery but it was not guaranteed that it would health the nerve, depending on the extent of the damage. So we scheduled surgery. It was across the street in the hospital. He came in while I was being prepped. Then after the surgery he explained how it went to Precious. Then I had a follow up visit followed by another follow up visit a month later. It's been about a year now. Most of the numbness is gone. There is only a very small portion of my face that is numb. I'm just as handsome as I was before which truth be told is a very low bar. Throughout the process the doctor explained the injuries, he showed me the CT scan, during the follow ups he was a good communicator always open to questions and always explaining the process. I had the impression that this doctor is very competent and caring. I also appreciate very much how he explained everything and was always willing to answer questions. read more

Sent my 88 year old mother here because I had been told she needed to have her ear wax cleaned out - not rocket science. They charged $519, $306 of which was for the office visit, and an additional $213 for cleaning out the ear wax in one ear - which is something a nurse can easily do in a few minutes. Really? No shame in the billing department here. read more

Do not come to this GUY, because a he is not a doctor! Run as fast as you can away from this practice! He's Bipolar and most likely in the beginning stages of Alzheimer's. One day he'll be optimistic and literally say I can definitely help you while placing his hand on your shoulder for what looks like sympathy and the next day he'll say why are you coming here? There's nothing I can do for you. In a very douche and rude tone of voice. He'll deny having conversations about of what was said during the first visit on your second visit. He's unprofessional, rude and a total douche. Retirement is way past due for this GUY! read more

Recently had septoplasty and terbinoplasty done. I have been struggling with breathing issues my entire life. Some of my earliest memories are of not being able to breathe through my nose. Still, with all that said, I was a bit apprehensive about going through with the surgery. I had seen horror stories online and the videos on youtube were even worse. I was assured by Dr. Gupta that the surgery would make my life far better. He was absolutely right! Dr. Gupta has been right on everything he said would happen during the surgery and recovery. I am heading into week three post op and can say that I have never breathed better. Big shout out to ladies at the front desk. Especially Marsela who took the time to answer all of my questions and keep me in touch with Dr. Gupta in the stages up to the surgery. Graceful staff and very competent doctor who insisted on doing things right. I visited Dr. Gupta at the recommendation of a friend. I had no idea the toothaches I was experiencing were caused by a polyp in my sinus. Dr. Gupta's staff arranged the many prerequisites to what turned out to be a lengthy surgical procedure including imaging and tests. As a result, a year later I am still breathing freely. Dr. Gupta is a very polite, kind and careful man who seemed very concerned at my comfort throughout every stage of what could have been a painful process. When you have someone sticking a camera up your nose, believe me, this is the kind of person you want in charge. As for staff, I watched as the polite and efficient gal behind the counter absorbed the abuse of an irate customer whose insurance company had failed him. She remained polite and understanding despite the fact the man's issue was clearly with his insurance. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Gupta since 2009. He performed surgery and I visit annually for follow-up. I have had only good experiences with him and his office. The day of the surgery he spent plenty of time with me beforehand putting me and my significant other at ease. My surgery required an incision in the front of my neck. Within 6 months there was no evidence of a scar whatsoever. He is constantly rated very highly. I could not recommend him any higher. You can trust him. read more

Negative experience. I took off work for a hearing Test I scheduled over a month ago. I secured a substitute (I'm a teacher) and drove up to Manassas from Warrenton. I walk in only to be told the doctor and the audiologist had an unexpected emergency and that my appointment had been cancelled. I was told a call had been made to my home and a message had been left the previous week. Not only had I never received a message, this was the second time the office had to change my appointment. In addition, I'm curious how it came to be that an unexpected emergency could occur a week in advance WITH knowledge? read more

I got a high charge of $518 for his office visit where he actually did not do anything and on top of that he went to see another patient while I was sitting there hesitating to do an endoscopy procedure!! I went to see him for a chronic sore throat but did not want to do the endoscopy procedure through my nose as I got nervous. He asked me to do the procedure or he will not be able to do anything. But I got nervous and did not want to do that so asked him if he can suggest or guess anything for the chronic sore throat. He said that being a specialist he can't say anything until he does the procedure and it could be anything including cancer!! Therefore I left the Dr. Office without any suggestions or service. I got a $518 charge with a code of "OFFICE CONSULT LEVEL 4" for this whole visit. I tried calling the Dr. office for several times saying that there might have some mistake in putting the code as "Level 4" when there was nothing done at that visit. But got no help from them and I still have to pay that high amount of money!! I went to see another specialist and he suggested some acid reflux medicine and the pain went away after taking the acid reflux medicine. I did not have any issue paying for this 2nd visit as the Dr. actually took some time to give me some comfort saying that it does not seem to be a worrisome situation and acid reflux is most likely the reason for it. I just still cannot believe a Dr. can scare you saying something like "it could be a cancer" and code as "Level 4 consultation" charge without doing anything!! read more
