Later on I found out that the front desk had put in the system that we are a no show for that day. So when I was heading to our rescheduled appointment, I called to confirm the appointment, I was told my appointment is on another day - weird, but fine. I then showed up that day and was told our appointment was in fact the day I called in and not today.... They are so disorganized here and are not open to accommodating their clients. They wasted so much of my time and my kids both suffered while waiting to see a doctor.

CHAMPVA is a straightforward insurer and provides coverage for families of disabled veterans. Based on our experience, it appeared that we were dropped due to reimbursement concerns rather than any issue with coverage itself. Discontinuing care for a child in the middle of treatment under these circumstances felt extremely unprofessional and concerning. This situation created unnecessary stress during a time when continuity of care is critical.
