The Whole Foods is the smallest Whole Foods in Illinois, so be prepared not to find many of items that you may find at other WF's locations. Why they didn't expand when Coconuts left the space next door, I don't know. I'm told it's due to lack of revenue. In RFOP I doubt that's the case, but maybe if they expanded and were able to keep good inventory in stock they would have better revenue. Then there's the the River Forest Town Center's abominable parking. I myself avoid going until I absolutely have to because I don't want to deal with that parking lot. I have not only witnessed many fender benders here, but I myself was hit by a woman with small children in a minivan who decided she didn't need to stop when driving down an aisle & approaching the main drive in front of the Whole Foods. THAT section of the town center is the absolute worst. Prepare for aggravation should you be going to Walgreens, Petco, Whole Foods, or Ulta in the East lot, OR if you're going to Panera in the West lot. The parkers here are just down right jerks. They ignore the stop signs, they take two or more parking spaces, and the best is when they pull up to the curb and throw on the hazards in front of the Starbucks which is located right at the exit feed to Harlem. Really, you can't be bothered to park 15 feet away in an actual space to get your macchiato? Then there's those "no left turn" entrances into the town center: one on Harlem, two on Lake street. Of course I see many disobeying those signs and turning left into those entrances. The best is those waiting turning left at the "no left turn" entrance on Harlem North bound. They're not only crossing a double yellow, but they're holding up all North bound traffic, especially those trying to turn left at an intersection that's already a cf. Just brilliant, people! Another personal favorite was me sitting with my turn signal on for a space near WF's while a car exited a space. A man with a "Coexist" bumpersticker on his car came from behind the car that just exited and pulled right into the space that I was waiting on. That guy is hardly, "coexisting", he's clearly in his own world. I've also seen other thoughtless 'space-jackers' weasel in on other patiently waiting parkers. What is it about this lot!? I know this stuff happens in parking lots all over, but this is just the absolute worst I've seen. I've had easier parking experiences in smaller downtown Chicago lots. If you're going anywhere near the stores I mentioned at the River Forest Town Center, do yourself a favor and park as far away as possible.

So far I've visited Studio 41 a few times and placed orders for most of our bathroom renovation…read moreneeds. You have to remember that this place is not a regular retail store. You have to schedule an appt with specific specialist. They have different departments, like fixtures, kitchens, tiles, etc. You have to call ahead and set up time with one of them to work through your project. Sure you can walk in and look around, but it isn't set up to just expect a "normal" retail experience when that's not the model. I will say this is they do have someone at reception and they should provide guidance for those people that walk in blind and with the wrong expectations. I don't know why that wouldn't have happened. For me... We went in with an appt. The first lady we spoke to was very flustered and unhelpful. I don't remember her name, but she soon passed us onwards for an awesome person who has been an amazing help. She did a full bathroom renovation design in working within our needs. She sketched it all out on a design program and that has helped us finalize and make selections for everything else in the bathroom. She went way above and beyond in terms of helping us with design decisions for tiles, bathroom fixtures, etc. even though the cabinet / vanity is her area of expertise. Btw, her name is Beata and she's awesome. Then she handed us over to Pawel in the bathroom fixtures area and he was also awesome in terms of helping us pick a tub, tub filler, faucets, sinks, etc. He made sure things matched and that we kept our costs low. Really knowledgeable and patient with us and went through multiple complete quotes with us to arrive at our final order. The above is probably after 3-4 trips with appts each time and finally having items, colors, and selections finalized. If you do have precise measurements of your bathroom, that's a critical starting point. If you have sample tiles, etc. all of that is critical to being with you as she can only help you if you guide the direction. One other thing I'll say is as far as I can tell, this is a decent way to work with some specialists without paying an extra arm and a leg. This is the only place I know of that has the added design and recommendation services without up-charging big-time. I will say that we haven't received any of the items we've ordered yet and they're not due to arrive until later, but my above review is for the sales and ordering process. Hoping it all turns out well and looking fwd to this bathroom renovation being complete.

Like myself, I imagine that many other Chicagoans flock to this location since most locations are shut down on the west-side of Chicago. I want to point out that parking is horrendous at this location in general. There is certainly not enough parking for the amount of customers it serves on a daily basis. I always find myself either contemplating on parking illegal or just leaving because parking is so lackluster in an already confined space. And its parking lot is shared with several other known businesses which makes this shopping center a handful at peak hours of the day. Not sure what this space used to be, but it appears to be a tad small in comparison to other Dollar Tree locations I have visited. I typically visit solely when I am in need of toilet paper, or maybe even a drink after my run, but I can always count on finding hygiene essentials like body wash, shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant and many more items when I am low. In spite of how congested this Dollar Tree can get due to it being one of the few near the west-side of Chicago, I have always received good customer service and found what essentials I needed which is what keeps me returning. ~Blessings~ Thomas G

I appreciated him saying thank you when I should be thanking him. As I shopped on the sales floor I was greeted by Barbara B. and asked if she could help me. If not for her, I would not be able to find the Christmas tablecloths. It was nice to be greeted and offered help at a time when everyone is so stressed out with shopping. I appreciated her kindness and customer service. My final encounter was when I was checking out. Patricija couldn't be any nicer or sweeter. She wrapped my breakables and wished me a nice day. I did miss seeing Isabel, it was her day off. Her service is always outstanding and she brings such a positive aura to the store. Good job on your hires Marshalls!

Assuming that the-end-of-season sale has concluded in most retailers, so the Spring items have been introduced but hasn't merchandized in full-bloom. Nevertheless, they had an above-average handbag selections on Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors, and Steve Madden. I'm a recovered handbag-holic, so I tried my best to refrain from purchasing another handbag. There were many clearance cosmetics, face and body care products. Marshall's and T.J. Maxx are where I replenish my facial cleansers because they are so much cheaper than buying at a department store, as long as they are not expired by any means. Anyways, this Marshall's is located as part of the Brickyard shopping plaza. There's a plenty of parking, or it is accessible by the CTA 86 (Narragansett) bus. Remember to get off one (1) stop before Fullerton.
