After a tiring play I sat in the waiting room and spent half an hour looking and staring at people who passed by. Then I went to the food court to eat some food. I eat burgers and fries. I liked the taste of the burger so I ordered again. After I eat I enter every store to window shop. I just bought a keychain and some books. I have saved a lot of money by buying books since their sale. I had a great and happy experience to fulfill my boredom in this mall.

If you wanna look like you've been to China with a bunch of Chinese stuff made in China, this is the place. They do have things relating to Chicago, but a lot of the stuff is just Chinese stuff that'll sit around your house gathering dust. Think lots of little statues, vases, cups, bowls. I feel like a bull in a China shop in here- all the aisles and merchandise is so jammed close together, that every time I turn around, I feel like I'm going to break some fragile jade egg or some bamboo vase. They also sell Chinese clothing, which all seemed a bit small for my tastes. But it's pretty. It's a shop in a nice location- it's sort of in the souvenir district of Chinatown- there's a few cool other similar shops on the same street, right in front of the Chinese archway that leads you into Chinatown.

They sell calligraphy pens but I wasn't able to write this, though I tried for a full 5 minutes. The staff is helpful, and patient. There's quite a bit of stuff crammed into a small space, and it ranges from the very cheap (and looks very cheap) the to the inexpensive (and doesn't look cheap) souvenirs to nice decorations. It's too tight with too many fragile items to bring in younger children (unless they are very well behaved) but there are lots of toys to give to children as gifts. Not surprisingly it's all made in China, including the Japanese sake serving sets which are quite a bit cheaper than you would find elsewhere. It's really fun to shop here, and you can't leave Chinatown with out some sort of souvenir, right?

This place is supposedly a high end mall, and I am 100% see the vision. There are 10 floors I believe, but it's only 2-4 stores per floor. They forget to put stores on certain floors in the directory as well. The highlight of the mall in my opinion was the American Girl place. It's large, and really informative and fun. I walked around a bit and they have a decent spread of stores. Fashion. Accessories. Toys. They even have an art gallery. I didn't talk to anyone, really. I shopped at Aeropostale, one of my favorite brands, looked around and that concluded my trip. It's a nice place for people touring, but don't make way for it while planning your trip. Think of it as a plan B. If I lived in Chicago, I wouldn't see this mall as a regular place to shop.

Even in the fitting room she came in at one point when I have half dressed and overall I couldn't feel at peace while I was shopping. It was utterly annoying experience and I was the only one being harrassed, as when I heard other customers asking who helped them, all of them said no one, yet I had the displeasure of having someone following me into every freaking aisle. My lovely wife and I finally visited the Fashion Outlets of Chicago for the first time over the…read moreweekend. Technically this shopping emporium is in suburban Rosemont, and hardcore shoppers from out of town have been known to make some last-minute purchases here before flying out of nearby O'Hare Airport. Most local shoppers drive here, and grouse about the cost of parking to shop here. We arrived via the free shuttle bus that makes a circuit around Rosemont hotspots and connects to the Rosemont CTA Blue Line station. We are not huge shoppers, but we enjoyed checking out a variety of stores and eyeballing the public art installations. There were deals to be had if you wanted them. We also enjoyed a couple of free treats from the wonderful chocolate shops, and there is a decent food court if you need a bite to eat. Amazingly there is also a 7-11 where you can get a beverage or snack, and the prices seem to be the same as those in standard 7-11 stores not embedded in shopping emporiums.

The store selection is limited. Sak Fifth Avenue is the larger store. They do have Nike, Gap, Victoria Secret and more. The mall does have a food court. They do have high end stores upstairs.
