They also have a huge space for parking but since it's a holiday and I can see many people and cars, the parking lot was full.

Roscoe Village

Roscoe Square isn't a bad looking shopping center for Chicago's Roscoe Village neighborhood. What…read morestood out to me during my visit here is that it has two supermarkets which are Mariano's and Jewel - Osco. Other stores in the shopping center are Supercuts, Sprint, Petco, Toys "R" Us, GNC, Wing stop, Meatheads, PNC Bank and Orange Theory Fitness Center. As for my visit, I came here on two separate occasions which were to utilize the Red-box machines at both Walgreens and Jewel - Osco, plus for a TCF Bank visit at Jewel - Osco. It seems very redundant to have two Red-box machines next to each other, as well as two supermarkets in the same center. It would be more beneficial to put one of the two in another neighborhood versus both in one neighborhood, but that's just my opinion. Moreover, depending on the time of your visit you may encounter many of the Lane Tech College Prep students due to the campus being next door, so don't be surprised. As for future visits it would most likely be for TCF Bank deposits which I do like once every month, but since there are so many Jewel - Osco locations scattered throughout Chicago/Chicagoland with TCF Bank branches attached the chances of regularly visits for me are very slim. My mom is busy decorating our house. The Christmas decor was all over seen at stairs, trees,…read morepathways and outside. The Christmas tree was tall with different kinds of decor including mini gifts, stars at the top, balls and Christmas lights. It also has a gift beside the Christmas tree. The Christmas light outside looks pretty amazing when it's on. It has a different color including blue, red, yellow and violet. The reindeers and snowballs outside were looking great. This Christmas decor was bought by this mall. And if you're looking for a decor that has a fair price and has good quality you can come to this place. My mom highly recommends this mall. We will be back here after she's done at her work to buy another Christmas decor.

The products are all one of a kind and offer unique gifts that will make you stand out. The vendors are all pretty affordable and highly suggest to come here for Christmas shopping. It's even better than four sided gift shop down the street at times! Check out the "make art take art" box outside. I find some amazing treasures in there and it's one of the coolest things in the town

I have nothing personal against this store or the people who sell there, but for me it was…read moreunderwhelming. There is a lot of stuff, but it is very generic. The "art" they sell is the kind that goes on a greeting card or t-shirt. Some booths sell crafts like you can find on Etsy--upcycled clothes and amigurumi or felt toys (which were cute enough but nothing amazing). Others sell imported items. It wasn't always clear if they were fair trade or not. In fact, that was one of the things that bugged me: many booths' lack of transparency on where these items were made/who made them. A lot of items looked mass produced, so it was hard to tell what wasn't. Basically this store exemplifies what happens when you commercialize art. Everything converges under market pressure and ends up looking the same. Personally antique malls are my style. They have a similar concept (many vendors in one space), but much more interesting and greater variety of items.
