So with that in mind, here goes; The Good: The food options are pretty awesome. If you haven't tried First Watch, Park Lane Tavern or Monsoon - where have you been!? The cinema really isn't the worst, the matinee prices are great and they accept military discount so Tuesdays are a great excuse to catch a movie for 5 bucks. You can walk around and go in and out of the shops as you please; Victoria's Secret, H&M, Francesca's, Bath & Bodyworks, Barnes & Noble and Finish Line (which is grand for fitting you with the correct running shoes for YOU in mind, and offers 20% military discount). The Bad: Shops don't seem to be able to stay open around here. I've seen a few come and go over the years and it sucks. And don't get me started on the additional PTC tax... but that's a story for another day. So overall, not bad Peninsula Town Center, still plenty of work to be done though!

I usually go to one of the anchor stores (usually only one does it) that will open its mall doors. It's generally clean and quiet until the stores open on the weekends. I have never seen any problems with the young people and have seen the occasional security guards (Paul Blart). I've never felt threatened ever so it's a good place for walking and shopping.

There is a pond located in the center of the shops with a gazebo for pictures and lovely benches placed around the pond. In perfect weather it is a great place to walk and or sit and converse. The sounds of the water fixture is soothing which makes for a serene vibe and atmosphere. There are many restaurants in the area within walking distance but it was unfortunate that most closed at 10 pm. I was not able to appreciate the dining in this area but I will definitely return to get the full experience. I reccomend this location for a nice date night or a girls night out!

There is a ton of free parking either along the streets for 2 hours or so or in the parking garage co-located for ease. There are dozens of shops and restaurants, tons of sidewalk space for walking, a large center fountain area for recreation, and they host seasonal things here like the Christmas events (which I've never visited but hear can get really crowded). There is a large movie cinema here and there are several hotels and corporate offices. There is a lot going on here so you can park and spend an afternoon roaming around exploring, walking and getting those steps in, shopping and eating.

I was shopping in here today, I had 5 items to try on. I tell the worker I have 5 items to try on…read moreshe asked me to set them down to count them. I oblige not a big deal. She then tells me I have four items to which is her mistake because she realizes it's 5 items like I told her. I try the clothes on. I come out all the clothes in my hand. Ready to go look for more items and different sizes. I was taking all the clothes with me. I give her the piece back she says will you be taking them with you. I say yes she goes on to say well let me count them. Now I know for sure this is not protocol. She counts all the pieces and I left them right there. I've worked in retail you don't count the pieces people are intending to buy. If you are going to have workers that are going to stereotype customers hire new people. Maybe around 230-300pm. I won't be back.
