The service has really gone down. Rude clerks and lack of follow up by managers. It's not a wonder why sales are plummeting.

This is what you expect. Was happy to find black/blue dress socks. Always forget something on every trip here. Then again if I remember correctly, two years ago forgot white shirts for under formal clothing. Can't win them all, but am happy Target has these items for a reasonable price. There's plenty of parking here. Is it busy? Yes it can be. Then again that's any of their stores. I do like that this company, gives back to its communities. Sells Rotten Meat Bought a boneless pork butt, which was dated to expire in 2 days, looked fine in the package. Took 10-15 minutes to get home and cut the corner to drain the blood and immediately smelled rotten eggs. The whole room smelled like rotten eggs, sulphuric kind of smell. I stopped here on my lunch break just looking for a bathing suit. It wasn't much to choose from, but I did pick out a cute tankini top. The store was very organized & the greeter was very friendly. The self-service lines were open, which I always love, and the lines moved very fast. After I checked out, I noticed that they had a Pizza Hut there. So, I got a personal pepperoni pizza & a drink for lunch. Next to that was a Starbucks, so I wanted a slice of their lemon loaf. Unfortunately, the young lady claimed they didn't have any...it was around 12 pm, so that was shocking. I digress. There was a lot of parking available, and I was in/out in no time. They didn't have my order ready when I got there and I placed it five days ago which was within their six day window, but the stuff was gone, so a nice, elderly employee that said she was supposed to be off work took at least 20 minutes shopping for the items and found about 8 out of 12 things. I'd give Target one star, but all the employees were nice and apologetic while I waited and somebody eventually helped her and she gave me a $10 Target gift card for my trouble. I've had several good experiences at this Target including pickup orders like this one in the name of full disclosure. Also, a manager took my name and said she wanted to figure out what happened to my order and improve. I was in a hurry and it tried my patience a little, but I stretched my muscles and used their WiFi while I waited, so I can't complain too much. read more

Shelf Price $4.29 Target Sale Tag Regular Price $4.99 Sale $4.69 save 30€, of course rings up $4.69. I will take shelf price, Thanks. Second item rang up 10€ higher than shelf pricing. So I bought 6 items, 4 cereal and 2 bread, or $1.80 more than advertised on their shelves. If I walked out of that store with a $1.80 of merchandise I did not pay for the Hampton Police would be called! I would be arrested for shoplifting. This is the second time in my last 2 visits this has happened, they would have taken from me an extra $10.00 had I not be paying attention. Just think if each guest is being overcharged $2.00 - $10.00 a visit how much extra cash that store is stealing from us their customer. This is an extremely poor business practice, So Shoppers Beware. Watch closely as to what you think you are paying and what they really are charging you at the cash register. I have asked to speak to the store manager both visit and talk to a Service Manager with not much real authority. Shame on Target. read more

Well, it's Target. There's nothing super special about this Target or anything, but I love that it's in a convenient location close to where I live. There's a lot of parking outside, so that is never really an issue unless there's a holiday weekend, then it begins to fill up because of people who are also just shopping around in the town center. The store is normally nice, clean and stocked. When there are sales, THEY ARE GOOD. Some sale items they like to hide within regular priced stuff, which is kind of annoying, but also kind of good otherwise I'd never be able to get my hands on any sale items that I actually want/need...mainly want. One of the main issues I ever have here is that I can never find anybody when I actually need help. I'll have to walk to a register or press a button for someone to meet me there. Aside from that, it's what you'd expect from a Target. The people that work there that you actually interact with are nice and helpful and I've never really had to wait in line to check out, which is always a plus! read more

Between this Target and the one near Jefferson Ave this one is my favorite. The layout is nice, and they are updated at this location. The customer service is normally on point, especially with the target pick up and drive up. The orders are ready fairly quick. The store is pretty clean. One day I even saw an employee cleaning handles in the food section freezer and refrigerator cases. We had great service back in electronics in early December that I already wrote into Target about. Thank you to all the employees for working hard during covid and the holiday season. read more

This Target is well stocked and bigger than other Targets in the area. Super busy, but you can usually find parking close by. Bullseye's Dollar Spot is pretty big, and very well stocked. The entrance compared to other Targets is kind of short/small, which can feel pretty rushed and congested when this location gets hopping. I don't remember if the sanitized carts were ready and waiting. Some of the aisles between products are pretty narrow, but there's a lot of selection, so that's the trade off. Overall, I would come here if I was looking for something specific or wanted a lot of selection, but the store traffic makes me think twice about coming here on a normal week night. read more

First time in this Target store and my only purpose was to be in and out with a coffee in my hand. This review is only for Starbucks. Parking lot has plentiful ground parking and I saw no debris in sight. As you enter make a left for the Starbucks. Surprisingly there was a line on a mid week day morning. However, in no time I was putting my order in. The area around the counter was clean and the case of pastry case was full and looked appealing. The service by the only staff was friendly and efficient. She handled the crowd great and produced a terrific white chocolate mocha. If your looking for a location off 64/Coliseum this is your only choice. I would return. read more

Clothes were unracked everywhere, literally people walking around blaring music which is new to me, and in every isle there is just other stuff from random parts of the store. I used to love this target the first time I moved here but after coming here many times and having bad experiences I've decided to check out others and even drive out of my way because this location is the worst. My most recent trip I decided to go here just to kill some time. I was followed around the store and even racially profiled by employees and loss prevention. I know it's not all target like this but I would rather order online and pick up from another location or just order online. I will never return to this location ever again. read more

First things first, there's ample parking outside, so even at peak times there's still going to be a parking space - even if you have to walk a bit further. Upon entering, or at least trying to enter the store, I'm pulling at a locked door - slightly annoyed at the side doors being locked and there not being a sign of some sort to inform to use the other door - I'm absolutely fine with having to walk around to another one, but I'm strong, I could have yanked that door off - okay just kidding. Still. Wasn't going to let this ruin my mission. Once inside, the front of the store where the clothes section is is tidy and presentable, however... keep walking, past the pharmacy... past the stationary... where is everything? There are shelves of empty items. The same for some of the food aisle shelves. I needed some spices for a recipe I was making - but the selection was very poor. As in, awkward-tumbleweed-rolling-down-the-aisle-no-one-has-been-here-for-50-years-to-buy-spices poor... Definitely in dire need of restocking. At check out, the self service stations were very busy, so I opted for the classic route to pay up the old school way. I joined the check out queue and saw another cashier behind the one I was standing in line for, tidying up his workstation and wiping it down - I thought, 'yes, no one's there so I'll head on down to him.' Well, I was wrong. As I arrived at the counter he waited a few seconds and then decided to inform me it was closed with a little sarcasm in his voice, so I replied saying there was no sign to say checkout closed so how would I know... nevertheless, I lost my place in the queue I was initially standing in and rejoined at the back and waited a while. Great. Well, I guess I visited at the wrong time, but please Target, signs are a great way of communicating and informing your customers that a) a door is locked, please use the other entrance and b) this cashier is closed. I'm giving three stars because of the poor selection, the barren and lifeless shelves and for the customer service received. read more

While shopping here, my baby was assaulted by a group of four teenage boys. They grabbed an item off the shelf and chucked it at my 8 month old baby's face. When I brought it to the managers attention he said there was nothing he could do because it was a "guest on guest incident". If you want to feel safe while shopping I would not recommend shopping here. Managers and shoppers are very rude and do not know how to act or treat customers. Myself and several other people made a review regarding this incident but apparently target deletes negative comments. Before this even happened I would shop here often, starbucks employees are very rude even if you are polite about ordering from them. Do not waste your time or money here. read more

Top Tier Service with Rebecca! I called the store to find out what time they would be closed for lunch. She answered the phone and said that she is going to be available for the remainder of the day. So I eventually made my way there. She asked me if I was the person who called earlier. Which made my day, I work in customer service myself. It's the little details that mean the most to me. Don't really like this target much and I'll tell you why The store itself is a very standard target with nothing special, but my main problem is with the employees. Every time I go to this location, which is frequently, I am constantly followed by their "secret shopper" who, if your wondering, is always wearing a noruto t-shirt. He follows me all the way to the exit and almost out the store. It just kinda bothers me, and I don't really appreciate it considering I've never stollen anything and have never given them a reason to follow me. One time I politely asked him to stop and when asked that, he got all offended and denied he was following me. I later asked why to another employee (who was not particularly polite about me asking) why he was following and, if so he was the secret shopper. She confirmed my beliefs and that was enough for me. As I said previously it's a very average store, but all my complaints are for the people who work there. read more

Be careful doing order pick up they will say item is in stock charge your card and when it says its ready you get there they will say that the order was canceled because they actually don't have the item in stock however they will still charge your card and then a refund will take three business days it's happened two times and there's nothing that the Target customer service can do read more

Target has a wonderful selection, my favorite part is that as a plus size I can still wear the dresses they sell. Target dresses are my favorite, some of them are so pretty and I always end up wanting to buy every dress in the store. I also think the price you pay for the dresses is fair. Not over priced. They also sell the cutest accessories for your home. The pillows are adorable, the furniture is different and the best part is the slat/pepper shakes. Last visit I bought hedgehog ones. On that note I was disappointed on this visit. I came in looking for a pair of tweezers that come to a point. I hate the ones that are slanted, they drive me nuts. I hadn't been able to find them at the walmarts I had visited so I decided to go here. To my surprise they did sell them, only one pair but they were there. I was really excited at first because I really needed them but when I looked up to see the price I was shocked. 7.99 for some tweezers? The total came up to be 8.51, honestly that is the most ridiculous price I have ever paid for tweezers. On top of that no one ever came over to ask to needed help, I even passed by a few team members. Very disappointed in target today. read more

You can't go wrong with target! It has everything you need from food to apparel. I enjoy coming to this particular location because they always seem to be stocked up on their products. The staff are also very friendly here and knowledgeable about the items they have in store. If an item is not on the shelf, they can look up to see if it is in the back (we have done this several times)! Target is a great place to sign up for your wedding registry or baby shower! My fiancé and I completed our registry here with no problems. It was quick and easy. Don't forget to stop by the Starbucks at the front of the store! If you are in the Hampton area, definitely check out this Target location. You will not be disappointed. read more

I was here a couple of months ago and forgot to put a review! I had a fantastic experience here that I wanted to share anywhere I could to get this employee noticed. I was in the skincare department and a nice employee- y'all white male, short hair, tattoos, I think his name was Stephen? - asked me if I needed help and I just complained I didn't know what skincare to use- he gave me the best advice by not only telling me about the horrible brand in my basket and what it would do to my skin, but also telling me the most affordable effective skincare product (face wash and moisturizer) to use and I have to say, in these two months my skin has never been better!! He was so nice and told me all about his husbands experience with the bad skincare and was very personable. I will be coming back to see him!! read more

I had the worst experience with the electronics department just now. I've ordered an iPhone 6 and they were out of them, even though online they said they have them in stock. The lady wouldn't even look up my order or confirmation number because they were "done out of them" and she did inventory this mornin. She wouldn't even give me the time of day. It's fine if the phone isn't there for me yet, I can wait. But at least help me figure out when it will be here or give me eye contact and do your job for your customers. read more

I would give them a one for their bathroom policy of men and woman using any bathroom they like,but I keep an eye on my daughter and never let her use the bathroom alone. That said I love just walking around Target and shopping their end caps clearance sales. I love the convenience of their grocery market. The store is always clean and the staff is friendly. I went in to pick up a few items when I got stuck in the HRBT carmagedeon. The parking lot was busy but I didn't have any trouble finding a spot. This particular store fits the normal Target mold. The clearance section was scarce but I did find a dress for under $3.00. The shoe selection had a few more items in my roach stomper size (size 10 or 11 depending on the type of shoe). The beauty department was impressive with loads of choices. They also have a decent travel size section. The checkout was quick. The bathroom was "meh" for a ladies restroom. I've seen worse and really had no complaints. All substances were where they should be and there weren't any questions puddles. read more

Its OK. Compared to a Walmart of Kmart Super Store, Target has some work to do. Target does have its own style and the stores are well lighted. Customer service is good for you will always find someone to help you. The grocery section is expensive but my daughter loves to shop there anyway. I love this Target, it is huge. It has the full store plus a grocery/market/pharmacy area. It even has a Pizza Hut, Starbucks inside. The store is very well laid out, spacious and lots of merchandise. I love going to the store just to browse or stroll. Parking lot is huge but unfortunately very busy and packed on Thur/Friday/Saturday nights as other venues within the Peninsula Town Center use Target's parking lot to park their cars for free. So, finding parking to Target is tough. I dislike the fact that even though Target is NOT owned by Peninsula Town Center they still charge their Peninsula Town Center fee/tax, facility fee etc. read more
