Open doorways weave in and out of the dividing wall, allowing customers to float freely from continent to continent... er... section to section. Beautiful, plush scarves caught my eye, as well as some of the old writing table decorations. One room in the back was filled with an assortment of accessories, like jewelry, hair barrettes, and hats. Incredibly well organized, this shop is like strolling through a fashion museum. Prices were a little higher than expected, and although there were two salesladies in the store, neither of them acknowledged that I was there. That bumped Vintage Marketplace down to three stars. I'd still stop back for a browse though. The window display changes frequently (and, in my opinion, is the most elaborate in Hyde Park), so something new will likely draw me in again.

Since the opening was just the week prior they were still unloading products but none the less they were ready to service us. I received a regular pedicure and my cousin received the jelly pedicure. The ambiance was cute, feminine and classy. The decor was super cute as well! In addition, they have a full service bar/lounge. And the music was a nice mix of current hits and throwbacks. The only things I could say that need improvement is having a service list posted or on hand that the techs can give to customers. If i has known there was a jelly pedicure option I would have gotten it. In addition, during my pedicure the water started to get cold just because they don't have bowls that have massage jets to keep the water circulating. Other than that no complaints! She assured me that there would be no chance that I would get spam email and that my email was only needed for the receipt. I asked her several times if I was going to be put on an email list. SHe assured me that, under no uncertain terms, would I get spam or junk email from Rally House. The very next day, I started getting spam emails from them. Including this one that I am responding to asking for a review. This level of deceit set the tone for my experience with this company. While they mught say that all i have to do is unsubscribe or block their email, the damage is done with the very first lie. Now their dishonesty is requiring me to take action to un-do their action to put me on their list. A very dishonest company.

I highly recommend coming here for the FC. The inventory here includes styles suitable mostly for the 18-25 year old set, but I did find some things I would consider more age-appropriate for myself as well. The boutique was having a 15% off entire inventory promotion when I was there, but other than that, everything mostly goes for MSRP. They do have a few sale racks in the front where everything is $30. I highly recommend sifting through these racks as there were some nice garments hidden between the oddly-sized, oddly-patterned cast offs.
