BEWARE!!! These people tried ripping me off ! I bought a mattress for 199, you have to pay 10 for recycling fee and taxes which I Understand. She charged me way more with taxes then the 9.5 % . I told her why are you charging me an extra 21$ , she said, she was charging me tax from the 399! Which makes no sense, but she gave me back my money. You charging taxes what I'm paying for, not the original price! They charged me 250 instead of 229 I talked to Gabriel, he said it was a mistake she made. walked in to this store 3 days ago and right away I was greeted and acknowledged. I came in because of the sale sign on the street. the store layout is unique small but detailed I was in the market for a queen mattress and bed. I looked online but I knew that more than likely I was going to get some cheap quality or damaged merchandise and I couldn't try out the quality. so here I go and walked in the store and I see many mattress choices and some frame choices I loved a pillowtop mattress that felt right for me. enough support and good comfort. the bed itself I ordered from one of their catalogs because although the options they had on the floor where nice they did not work with my current set up. after 3 days of visiting the store and purchasing and having delivery I am here writing to let you know that if you want personal attention and want good quality for the money I have just saved you some time because downey bedding can get you hooked up the guy there is helpful and delivery is smooth the guy came built the furniture and set it up. now I can finally sleep on this new bed tonight. great job guys, I will send you all my friends and family. read more

I highly recommend Downy Bedding Co. The owners, Gabriel and Cathy were fantastic! I needed a mattress for my teenage son's loft bed. I gave them the measurements of the loft and they recommended a terrific memory foam mattress. Gabriel even carried it out of the store and loaded it into my truck for me - talk about great customer service! The new mattress fits in the loft perfectly, and my son reports that it is super comfortable. After his first night on the new mattress, he told me he slept better than he has in a while! My brother recommended me to this place. I needed a nice bed after my surgery I haven't been able to sleep on my old junky mattress. I did all the research, tons and tons of online foam mattresses and to be honest I am not the foam Mattress type of dude. Cathy did good job at explaining the pros and cons of each bed, the place was well put together and had good amount of selection and wasn't overwhelming like other big mattress stores with hundreds of models. What a find! AMAZING AMAZING! Family owned and operated by CATHY and her family. I have to say that I'm confident there is very few places I can find the level of service CATHY gave me. The place is tucked away on the other side of Downey, and at first is hard to spot especially if your coming from the 605 freeway. Plenty of parking in front and side streets. They also have a loading parking lot in the back. When I walked in I thought wow! I was not waiting for that type of presentation from this store ...... as the building looks like a warehouse type of design. Immediately felt good walking in about this place. Prices were a fair, lots of gorgeous pieces and quality beds and furniture. You can tell they have good vision for design. Long story short, I recently renovated my house and I found myself stuck at big department stores with a lot of the same generic pieces to choose from. After countless corny Pushy salesmen that knew 0 about style and design! I stumbled upon this place.....CATHY and her eye for decor was amazing. I sat down in her kiosk/desk and she put together a Mood board for me within minutes!!! Who does that??? It was until after she told me she was an interior decorator!!! Bingo! CATHY helped me customize a sofa for our living room, picked out rugs and accessories and she even helped me pick out a new color for the walls that tied much better with my furniture!!! Delivery was done in about 10 days, and that was pretty good considering all my stuff was custom, but she did offer to send me the mattresses to my bed first nights to sleep but we just waited for everything all at once. 10/10 for me on this one, Lucky to have stumbled upon this little gem of a store! read more

From the very first message she had awesome customer service. She invited me to go to the store to take a look at the floor models. The day I went in she was not there, but the lady that was there (i forgot her name) was just as nice. The lady there even took one of the dining room chairs outside for me so I could see the color in a different lighting. I ended up purchasing the dining set. I ordered a sofa back on 03/25/21 and placed a deposit of $1815.00 with an original promise date of 04/2021- 05/9/2021. i still have no sofa. i have copies of text convo with the owner cathy. again, i was told that i should rec'd my sofa in july. i still have no sofa. i text cathy 3 weeks ago for update and have not rec'd a response from her. i asked cathy if she didnt want to process my order since we are almost in sept. just to refund me but please respond and let me know. i have not heard from cathy to date. Cathy seems very nice but i can never receive an honest response and now she isnt responding and hasnt refunded me my money. She is a theft and not happy with her service at all! i was referred to her from utube influencers murillo twins and i will let them know to not refer her to anyone! I do not want my experience to happen to anyone else. i am going to report her to BBB and i am going to share my situation with the local news station. I want my refund! read more
