Love this place! Needed a new pillow and decided it was time to try one before I bought one. Jose Medina was sooo helpful, asking me lots of questions about how I sleep and gave me lots of pillows to try and lots of options to choose from. Picked one with the cool get technology, and had the best nights sleep! There is plenty of parking in this strip mall, and since they have such a large selection of mattresses, we will be back soon to them out before buying a new mattress next! read more

Angie was so incredible so knowable not pushy at all when we came shopping. She gave us a lot of great options specially when we were so indecisive. There's a ton of options to choose from and the prices were pretty competitive! Great spot to mattress shop. read more

Ralph Ruiz was very patient and helpful when we went in to purchase an adjustable bed for my elderly mother. I very much appreciated that we were treated well and that Ralph was so patient and not at all dismissive even though my mom could not decide on which mattress to choose from. We decided on a King Koil platform queen size base and a Kingsdown Euro top mattress. We paid for delivery and set up and within two days (from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning) the new bed was delivered and set up. We checked other mattresses stores but decided on this Sit' n Sleep based on the service we received, the items available for purchase, and the price of course. More than anything, it was the service. I felt we could trust Ralph and Sit' n Sleep. I do recommend that you don't be shy about trying the mattresses. My mom was very timid about lying on the mattresses to test them out. Try the mattresses out to see which one feels right for your firmness wise. Enjoy your visit! read more

We did a lot of shopping and research. Went to a lot of stores. We decided we wanted a Dreamcloud mattress. Out of all the stores the best customer service was Sit N Sleep. They didn't have the Dreamcloud in store but wanted to give them sell, they could order it. This is where it all goes sideways. They ordered the wrong bed, a Nectar, all the while assuring us it was a Dreamcloud. Needless to say it took exactly 1 month since our purchase to get the right mattress. They did upgrade us so I give two stars. Should have just ordered direct. read more

I purchased a mattress on 12/13/25 from this location. Here is my honest review: Upon arriving, I was greeted and helped right away. The customer service was good and my wife and I were treated very well. We tried several mattresses and picked one that we liked and fit our budget. The delivery in 12/18 went well, too bad there's no option to just pick up your mattress yourself since it took the delivery team less than 20 min to bring the base and mattress into our home. The charge for that was 130.00. So, we have had our mattress for 3 days and I decided that I would like to get the tier above the mattress that I purchased. I called sit n sleep and spoke to the salesman that helped us. I was told that I would have to have my mattress for at least 30 days before doing an exchange and that there would be a 20% restocking fee to make that exchange/upgrade. I was pretty disappointed because they sell you on the whole 120 day satisfaction guarantee but don't disclose whether or not your mattress will have a restocking fee. Yes, it does say it in writing but why not be transparent about it and explain it during the sale? Pretty sleazy sales move to me. Second issue I had was if you don't purchase their mattress protection cover (429.00) then your mattress is not covered for any warranty. I learned this the hard way as well. I called to return the protection kit since it had many bad reviews from other sources online. When calling corporate and this location they said that if I returned the protection kit, my mattress would no longer be covered under warranty. So, no option but to buy their specific kit to keep your mattress protected. Another sleazy sales move... I'm ok with the mattress I have and no I won't be giving this place any more money for a restocking fee. I Just wish they were transparent with their customers from the get go. If I had to shop for a mattress again, I would not come here again. Pretty disappointed with the treatment after making the purchase. Please do your homework before coming here and definitely shop around, it's not as good as they make it sound while trying to make the sale. read more

My husband and I came in today to look for a mattress because we both have poor neck and shoulder pain from our current mattress. Ralph was extremely professional and helpful! We got to do this cool simulated mattress assessment to help us identify what kind of mattress would suit us the best. Ralph educated us on the differences in mattresses and pillows and we were blown away to learn how our old mattress was affecting us. Ralph gave us a great deal on the warranty, mattress and pillows. We are extremely happy with our purchase and the cherry on the top is that Ralph worked with our budget without any pressure to purchase. We will definitely return to purchase mattresses for the rest of the family in the future. If you're in the need of a new mattress we recommend that you go see Ralph he will take care of you! read more

We came in to shop around and try out some beds. This was our 1st stop, we were going to try one other store as well but Angie made our shopping experience so great we ended up purchasing from her. Warranty division is bad for Sit n Sleep bought a mattress less than 2 years ago for my husband to help him while he was battling cancer he never got to sleep on it. Only I have slept on it and the mattress is not wearing correctly the warranty division came out and they are telling me that my warranty is "J" so it needs to be 1 inch or more so its not defective. They do not consider it returnable. When the Inspector stated the bed has a crease that shouldn't be there. I'm never going to buy a mattress from this company again read more

Came in an hour before the store closed and Angie was extremely helpful and patient. She brought my partner and I to a body assessor machine which paired with a firmness and suggestion for mattresses then Angie brought us around to a few different ones to try out. Even though we were super indecisive she stayed patient and answered all of our questions. She wasn't being pushy or trying to upsell us and even though we spent more than originally planned she helped us stay around our budget. We were able to use our synchrony credit card and got no interest payments. Thank you Angie for your help, I really appreciate you! read more

Sit 'n Sleep - Front of business - Mattresses Near Me - Whittier, California

Walked into the store after work and some older lady with brown hair is on her phone phone and says "I'm on the phone, Can you make it quick?" I then questioned her and she sat down and ignored me. walk back in to get her name and then she refused and said I was harassing her. She made up some excuses about being on a personal call with a family member in the hospital and I understand that people go through things but that doesn't give you the right to be rude to anybody. I'm very upset. Left a very sour taste in my mouth and I would recommend going to the Sears down the street instead of wasting your time on somebody who will openly disrespect you and then play the victim. read more

I stopped by this location and the sales rep on the floor was extremely rude. I believe his name was Cleft of Clet. I told him I was just looking for a pillow and he snapped back rudely "well what kind of pillow" as if he couldn't be bothered. I've worked many customer service jobs, I was appalled by his lack of professionalism. Glad to have not purchased from him and looking elsewhere for what I need. read more

We got new bedroom set and it was like we need a new mattress so of course we decided to go to sit and sleep we were greeted by Angie walked around. We had a general idea of the brand we wanted , and she was very helpful with all the questions even talked to me in lying on the one bed too, have it accurately determine what what mattress style would be best for my wife and I. You guys are too overpriced. I had been shopping at many other mattress stores, and I thought I'd check you out. I felt as soon as I gave my price range to her. I was treated differently after that. $1600 for a 8" standard mattress " Good grief, " as Charlie Brown would say. I felt like I was buying a used car. Thanks to your poor service, we drove to mattress firm and were treated wonderfully and purchased a new plush Hybrid cooling mattress for under $1900. Please shop around folks. read more

My partner and I went into Sit N Sleep just to shop around as we did need a new mattress. Angie helped us from start to finish. First she had us go on the bed match machine which fits you and your sleeping partner to the best mattress for you. We shopped around feeling the different mattress from infinity, purple, tempur-pedic, and much more. Any questions we had Angie was right there to assist us. We were looking at the many Black Friday deals and yes we were originally looking at the cheapest price. However we decided we need to invest in ourselves! Since this will be our mattress for the next 10 years and you do get what you pay for. Thank you Sit N Sleep and thank you so much Angie! Would definitely recommend coming here! read more

Let me start by saying that our search to buy a new mattress was not so smooth sailing, with Presidents' Day I wanted to take advantage of the sales going on, so my mother and I went to the Sleep Number Store located on 13553 Whittier Blvd. Whittier, CA 90605 and to my surprise we were ignored till we walked out the door and was told to look around that they were busy with a customer on the phone. They never even bothered coming up to us, wish I could say both their names but they never left their desk to be able to see their name tags. I just didn't think we had to get dressed up to be taken seriously. And so we decided to go visit the Sit N Sleep store off of Whittier Boulevard in Whittier, CA 90605 just down the street which is where we met Angie Jones where we were met with the best customer service. She could have thought "oh these people are probably not going to buy anything and just waist my time" But she was ready to answer any questions we had, while never making us feel pressured to purchase anything, but made us feel important enough to treated us with respect and dignity! Oh and we bought the bed with 0 % financing for 36 months Thanks again Angie read more

Great store, great service, great delivery and great price what more can you want??? The same comfort in the bed delivered as the one you select in the store...the bed we received was so hard my back is killing me and I literally have had to sleep on the couch. Upon return to the store I again tried the bed and it was no way anywhere near as hard (not firm but hard!) as mine delivered. I'm told "sorry you have to wait 30 days until you can get exchange for a new one or upgrade paying more money". I've bought from this company over the years and never a mattress problem. I'm disappointed! Had I bought it at Costco which was my alternate choice, I would have my money back in this situation no question asked. 30 days is along time when day 1 is unbearable! read more
