I don't usually shop for jeans so I was curious as to what size jeans she thought I would be; she not only got my size spot on but she went above and she picked out the perfect pair of jeans for me. I was also looking for a dress and based on the dresses I had picked out already, she put in a few that she thought I might want to try on. Out of all the dresses I tried on, the dress she picked for me was the only one that I really liked and I bought it. Madi is the single most sweetest and most helpful employees I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with:)

It needed a little alteration so we put it on hold as we looked into how/ if / when this could happen in the short week until the dance. I called about 2.5 hours later and the dress was gone. Even the bigger one was gone. The owner felt bad and made several calls trying to find a replacement and even made a special order to get another one shipped before prom. Bliss paid for shipping without having us pre- pay for the dress. The shipping cost and the rush on the alteration was a cost they were willing to eat to help my daughter get her favorite dress. If you like something here I say buy it right then and save yourself from suffering shopping overload. They will do right by you and help you find what you need. The alteration lady they suggested was great.

Per…read moretheir policy, I made an appointment for my daughter and her friends since a parent was not going to be there (all are in high school, but they are all 18 years old, have jobs, and their own bank accounts). The owner refused to allow "the girls" to try on any dresses and called them liars because one of her employees put down the wrong information and stated that they were from out of town. They are all local Davis County adults. Maybe as a business owner, you should educate your employees on what your company policy is, so they can relay that information when setting appointments. The owner also stated, that every "girl" needs to have a parent there. Some people don't have the luxury of having parents or guardians available for these special events in their lives. Should they be penalized and discriminated against for this? This is 2022, close your doors, since there are so many other businesses that know how to treat paying customers. You should be ashamed that you run a business, that refuses and discriminates against legal adult women.

Long dresses lined the walls and short dresses were in the middle. They had all shapes and sizes....and even formal clothing for children (girls and boys). They also had a huge selection of ties towards the middle of the store. The employees working there when we went (4/15) were all so nice! They were helpful and didn't try to pressure on us at all. They let us know they were there if we needed them and then let us go through the dresses. When my daughter found THE dress, they all complimented her and made her feel great! There were quite a few dressing rooms (I think 6-7) and two couches to sit on while waiting. I was REALLY happy to have a comfortable place to sit while waiting for my daughter to try on dresses. I was nervous that everything was going to be really expensive. Some dresses are, but they had a sale rack with some fantastic deals (under $100). They have dresses for all budgets. We were very happy with our experience and will definitely come here again to buy a dress!

I called and the person answering the phone looked through the store reported back to me that it was not in the store. Sure that I had left it there, I drove back to the store and walked through it and waited in line to ask an employee if it had been turned in. It hadn't. The manager, Lacie (I believe her name was), walked with me through the store and even enlisted help from a couple of employees to look through the store for it and looked in trash bins and in the rest rooms and went above and beyond to help me in my frenzied state. We discussed doing a police report so that we could watch film and I left the store to determine next steps and called a friend that I had been on the phone with while I was shopping and she reminded me that I had told her that I was also going to go to Ross. I ran over to Ross and asked about it and they had my purse. I returned to TJ Maxx to thank Lacie for being so kind and helpful. I have never had someone be so accommodating and felt bad for the inconvenience that I had caused her. I only had a few minutes and couldn't see her in the store and felt bad that I couldn't thank her and let her know that I had it. She was so attentive and thoughtful. A friend told me that the best thing that I could do for her was to give her a good review and let her know how appreciated she is. So that is what I am doing. TJ Maxx has a golden employee in Lacie and they should be aware of the great customer service she provides at the Riverdale, UT store!

The shopping model is addictive with the regular coupons, Kohl's cash, and rewards points. They also have a wide selection of items that we tend to appreciate. In addition to clothes and shoes, we also purchased kitchen, home goods, bedding, bath, pet items, games, and seasonal options. They have an Amazon return station also that we've used a few times as an alternate to the UPS Store across the street. I found some items I wanted that I tried to purchase online, but would have had to wait 4-10 days for them to get it ready for in-store pickup. So I visited in person, and found everything I was looking for the same day. I also picked up a 70% off clearance item that I wouldn't otherwise have found online. They reworked the checkout from having several registers in their separate lines on both sides of the store, to a single queue line weaving through last minute displays to a bank of multiple registers in a line. You wait to be called to the next available register so no one can slip in front you. There was only one register open when I was there, and the staff was very friendly and helpful with my purchase. I'm sure I'll be back soon.
