Times Ticking - their fake watch

My original review for Times Ticking was very negative. I received a phone call from Jared the…read moreOwner and he indicated there was a mix up on their end and they were taking care of my watches and I should get them back in a few days. As a business owner I appreciated his call and his willingness to make things right. This changes my opinion and because of this I change my review to 5 star. Good job Jared and thank you.

I am very happy witht the customer service I have received and will update this review should it get better or worse This place is scrupulous 100%. I first sent my 1986 timex to them a year ago to have it fixed. It had the battery compartment corroded and they said they could fix that. I mailed it in from California after seeing all these wonderful reviews. I paid them over 300$. They sent me back a watch that did not have my original face or back on it. I called them up and they somehow just happened to still have all my old peices and told me they would take care of putting it all back with my original pieces and send it back to me. I tought this was was very odd but sent my watch back anyways after this happened. Wehnit came back it was ticking odd and In a short period of time the watch stopped working and the time could not be changed as that peice they replaced was defective inside. Then they asked me to send it back again. I had them note that last time they kept my original pieces and that this time I did not want any further issues with the stealing my watch from me. I checked on my watch for a minimum of 5 months all the while they kept telling me they had yet to source the pieces to repair their error. Everytime we talked I reminded them of what they did last time and made sure all my original pieces came back on my watch. Well low and behold my watch just came back today and it is not even my watch. Obviously they could not fix their error and opted to just buy a cheap timex watch face and replace it on my band. The difference is striking and the size is not even the same. I kept photos of my original watch when I had first sent it to them and for them to do this to me was absolutely horrifying!!! I mean the only thing I mailed them that was mine that they mailed me back was the band the watch was attached to. I would NEVER do business with this place EVER!!! The first five photos are MY watch and the last two are the watch they sent me back!! Unless you are in their store and wait for your item and watch it be repaired I would NEVER TRUST this place!!! I will edit this if they address my problem in a timely and lawfully fair maner.

I was very pleased with their service and attention. I brought in several watches that needed…read morebattery replacement. I was told by another shop that 2 of them needed to have the mechanics replaced and the others beyond repair. They checked them all and replaced the batteries. Two needed to have more extensive work but not worth doing. They only charged me for the battery replacement and nothing for checking the others. Honest and easy to work with. I live in Heber City and it was worth the trip down. FYI they are an authorized Hamilton and Raymond Weil shop.

NEVER NEVER NEVER BRING YOUR WATCH HERE!!!! I brought my…read morehigher end stainless Swiss watch in for the second time for a battery. They advised me I would also need some routine service including a new gasket.... OK.... I picked my watch up a week or so later. I went skiing a few days later. It was a sunny day with no new snow. I noticed in the evening I had condensation INSIDE the face of my watch. I have never experienced this with this watch and I ski a lot. I called Mt Olympus and they gave me some bogus answer. I asked to speak with the manager, and he too told me I did not know what I was talking about. He even laughed out load at me along with someone in the background. He was trying to MANSPLAIN to me how because my watch was older etc.......I told him I have never had condensation in my watch. He laughed again. I hung up. I called Morgan Jewery and they recommended a watch repair person, who I went to the next day. I left my watch there for him to look at. When I picked my watch up, he stated the case tubing showed some wear and possible rusting, and he had repaced that along with damaged caseback gasket, that he also stated was the wrong fit. WOW OMG! I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO MT OLYMPUS CLOCK FOR ANYTHING. WHAT AN UNBELIEVABLE EXPERIENCE. ****Thank you Ryan for fixing my watch****

I don't typically ever leave reviews but this place is the worst business l've ever encountered. I…read moretook my silver necklace to get a simple repaired back somewhere in September of 2023. Then a week later I get an unexpected call that he has lost it, but will let me know if he finds it. Fast forwards 5 months he still hasn't found it and offers to buy a replacement which I was out of town for a month so l wasn't able to meet with him. Fast forwards another 1 month I finally get a call that they have found it. It's February 20th of 2024 When I get there, the first thing I was greeted with " you got the money"? I simply told him wow, you expect me to pay after 7 months! He like yeah it fixed isn't it. he showed me the replacement necklace he got me which was the cheapest necklace ever, it felt like straight plastic and wasn't even remotely close to the necklace that I took to be fixed. I told him there's no way I was gonna pay him after 7 months btw it was only $45. And once I told him that he tried to make me also pay for the replacement. I wish I got a picture because it was not anything close to the one that he lost. Since I wasn't willing to pay, he just simply cut the peace that he replaced and handed it to me and said this is the finished. So basically after 7 months I got a necklace that wasn't even fixed. The part that made me mad as I was patient and was really calm about the situation. Would definitely will never go back and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I asked the worker what happened and heard, "It was already like this." It most certainly was not in pieces when I handed it to them. An older gentleman worker seemed flustered with the situation and said, "There will be no charge today." So, I don't have to pay for having my watch broken? The gentleman then asked me to return the next day to pick it up. When I returned the next day the watch had been pieced together the best they could and it was obviously not working. I asked if they could at least fix what they broke and heard, "No, we can't fix it. It's not even an expensive watch." I was handed my broken watch and the gentleman simply shrugged. I was offered no restitution or compensation. I would highly recommend NOT patronizing this business.
