The last homeowner had a cheap toilet installed, which created more problems than expected. Jake was fantastic throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain my options, answered all of my questions, and made sure I understood what I was paying for rather than just pushing me toward the most expensive solution. The Plumber rescued me!…read more I watched water gush out from a pipe I just accidentally cut while trying to be the handyman in my fiancés house. My fiance is out of town and I knew I only had hours to fix it as she is due back tonight. I called for help in a panic and The Plumber was able to come out and help same day! Nate walked me through cutting off the water main until he arrived. Nate arrived very quickly and was done in a couple hours. He shocked me with how reasonable the price was, and let me tell you I was scared because I knew this wasn't just a leaky faucet or stuck toilet. The coordinator had their plumber Spencer call me to see if I had any questions after our initial call. I initially brought in another company for an estimate but called Spencer back for a fact check to verify the first company's pricing. Spencer was able to respond immediately with what Leak Geek's pricing would be for the same pricing and said they could get out there within about an hour. I ended up hiring Leak Geeks, and Spencer got here within about 30 minutes of being dispatched. He did a great job identifying where the leak was coming from. It was a worse case than I had hoped for, but he found it. He cut and capped the line so I could still use the rest of the water in the house while the drywall was being remediated and the eventual repairs could be made. He referred a remediation company, American Water Damage, who had an estimator come out, again within about an hour, provide an estimate, and get a remediation tech to come out to move a basin, cut open the upstairs wall, and place fans and a dehumidifier. I'm impressed and relieved that they could get all of this done in the same day. Spencer was friendly and professional throughout.
