I requested a deep clean from Amy Ordonez, UBI: 604 789 439…read more I was moving into a house that had not been lived in for a year, and had likely not been deep cleaned for years before that. My experience was as follows: SET-UP - shady I called before closing time as per Google reported working hours, left a message and expected a call the next day. I received text messages from 2 different numbers at 8:26pm (after their working hours) that said "hello when did you want to get this done we can come oit". No context. I responded to the second phone number that had a little more context of "you called earlier". I assumed it was for cleaning, and thankfully I was correct. We tried to get something scheduled but she had to change the dates 3 times within. I decided to go with someone else because it started to feel sketchy. Then she started to beg to keep me as a customer, showing me videos and her business reference number. I eventually caved, even though I read how she responds to negative reviews with a very unprofessional emotional backlash... I'll give a girl a break. THE WORK - lacking and dishonest Quote: $385 - 4 hours - clean everything but the walls, tax included. Real cost $450 - 3 hours - clean appliances (I'm glad they cleaned the oven and fridge), toilets and air vents. Since that time, I've had to clean all my light fixtures (fan blades, bathroom light covers, bulbs, mountings), cabinet interiors (which her workers sent pictures hinting that they had done it but in reality had not), shelves, and I expect to find more things as I continue to unpack and set up for Christmas. I should have educated myself more, paid attention to my gut and gone with someone else. $150/hr? For this? What was I thinking?!

We recently had a leak and Alivea notified us immediately and helped find local plumbers. In addition, our first guests ever were a complete disaster and trashed the house. Alivea, the general manager, is really approachable and she stays really on top of things organizationally. The cleaning quality of their staff is thorough and well done. They mainstain a high bar and I can rest easy knowing that I don't have to worry. They will show up on time and when I expect them there, even when they have a tight window to clean between guest stays (which can't be that easy!). I regularly receive feedback from guests that our place is "sparkling" clean, which is a testament to this company's high standard. They have a lot to do in our home and they manage to get quite a lot done in a short period of time. I also use So Clean's handyman services, which have been excellent---everything from hanging mirrors on our walls, repairing a broken board or two on our dock and staircase, to assembling a bench and dresser when I couldn't find time to do so! I love that they provide a one stop shop for homeowners...They have a high level of personalized service and are willing to go above and beyond basic expectations: accommodating requests that few companies do these days. For example, they have gone out with short notice to buy a spare propane tank for our BBQ and a bottle of wine to greet our upcoming guests. I don't expect perfection. On rare occasions, we've had a little mishap or snafoo (related to scheduling or very specific things we wanted done in our home presentation for rental), but the company has been really receptive to feedback and addressed any issues that arose straight away. I'm not worried about those issues arising again. As with all things in life, occasionally things don't go perfectly, but those companies who are receptive to constructive feedback and are willing to improve are the ones I will most likely return to for business. I found it helpful supplying this company with a typed-out checklist of specific cleaning requests, since some of my expectations for our rental unit are more detailed than might be asked of a typical house cleaner. This company also provides a basic checklist to their cleaners for all homes, which is pretty thorough. As the name suggests, they use naturally based cleaning agents, to keep their customers and staff healthy. I think they do a fantastic job! Way to go So Clean and Green! Their parent company, the Richard Beckman Realty Group, has been fabulous as a vacation property maintenance company as well. No complaints here, only praise!

I was out of town, but requested he contact either my husband or my realtor to clear the quote prior to receiving services. On 8/18 my realtor was contacted and asked if Mike could stop by earlier. It was not made clear that by earlier he meant that day (8/18). Services were completed without any discussion or agreement to a quote. According to my Ring doorbell Mike arrived at 11:04 am and left at 12:16 pm. The total cost of the services completed were more than my husband, realtor, and I would have agreed to pay for. Due the fact that we were not offered a quote prior to services completed, we did not have the opportunity to deny services. On 8/20, my husband stopped by our unoccupied home to discover that the door had been left unlocked by Mike. Our realtor had left a lock box with our key and provided Mike with the access code to unlock and lock our door. This means our home was left unlocked, while unoccupied to 2 full days. Upon discussion, our realtor contacted Mike to discuss our displeasure with the way services were completed without a quote agreement and that our front door to our home was left unlocked. We felt that we should have been offered some sort of price reduction off of the cost of the services completed without our consent and for our home being left unsecured. Unfortunately, we were offered nothing and have been left with a sour taste for the way Mike handled business with us.
