$300,000 for a roof that leaks like a sieve and a warranty they treat like a polite suggestion…read more If you're thinking of hiring Jay Carter Roofing, do yourself a favour and run the other way. We are now paying a fortune to rip off a one-year-old roof that was supposed to protect our cottage. Their customer service? Non-existent. Their excuses? Olympic-level. They'll blame everything except the mirror. They insisted they had to do the waterproofing themselves or the warranty would be void. We let them. Surprise -- they still won't honour it. Their latest masterpiece? Blaming "ice damming in Muskoka." Buddy, ice dams in Muskoka are as predictable as blackflies in June. If your roof can't handle basic Canadian winter physics, maybe roofing isn't your calling. The cherry on top? They sealed off our entire ridge vent and then had the nerve to blame us for the roof not breathing. That's like tying someone's hands behind their back and complaining they're bad at clapping. We've built cottages all over Muskoka for years. Never have we dealt with a company so allergic to accountability. See you in court, Jay Carter. Bring better excuses... and maybe a bucket. We highly suggest you stay away!

We did the same with other same-type of re-surfacing company's yet GTA really shined. From the very beginning through to completion, the process was seamless. Corrie was personable and listened to what we were looking for based on your situation - we'd already had rubber surfacing done many years earlier, (different company), and wanted a much-needed modern update - they came through in aces! The colour options offered really open your eyes to how your makeover will pop! Workday came and Pedro AND his crew - the latter should be recognized considering the work involved - were professional, amiable; considerate, and as importantly, competent in making the back pool and eating area a work of magic - WE LOVE IT!!!!!!!!! Have no hesitation in recommending GTA RS - at least give them your time in quoting you a price - no harm, no foul. We're open to questions should you have any. Thaks so much Corrie, Pedro and team!
