Affordable Deck and Fence (AF&D) provided a tentative schedule and were timely in completing our deck despite the weather interruptions. During the tear out (we thought this was huge) and construction of the new deck, they keep the worksite very tidy. They gave us a price, we agreed on lesser, done deal. They said it would take two weeks to complete.... Three weeks later, we weren't even close to finished. They came on Thursday to lay interlock, they arrives around 8; at 1 pm the has laid no more then 20sft and crooked. We told them we weren happy and uestilned why they didn't start of the patio which is straight. They didn't like it, they also made the comment that the homeowner shouldn't be sitting and watching a trade...well when you see your trade is struggling and you're paying for material and time, YOU WATCH that trade Save you time and money, find crew who knows what they are doing. They accused neighbours of "stealing" orange hazard fence and completely embarrassed great, hard working people that just wanted a new fence. Once we paid him he took off and told us we were the problem. After dealing with him since April 2023 when the job was suppose to start, he quit in July, mid September after having to get a lawyer involved he has refunded us in FULL. Rude! DO NOT HIRE! Company was removed off google but I don't want someone to get tricked on Yelp.
