After about three months while at the local Ford service center I was told the car had problems in the rear that looked suspicious. I contacted the dealership to discuss these findings. To their credit they promised to look into the issue and sent me to the Dover Chevy collision department. The collision department put their best technician, Jon Sadler on my car immediately and reported very bad news. What I learned was my GT had been a rental and had gotten into a serious accident and the repairs were not done by a professional. The collision department reported this to GM Dan McEwen who contacted the seller of my GT and discussed the findings and repair options. Because the frame was bent on the right side I was given the option to go ahead and have the car fixed or accept a full refund of all the money I spent buying the car plus all the aftermarket items I had purchased. Due to the unknown after learning the GT had been a rental we chose to get a refund which was the appropriate thing to do but broke my heart. While at Dover Chevy I noticed a Camaro convertible in the showroom. Kyle Fales approached me and I explained the issue with the Mustang. He and I looked at the 2023 3LT Camaro and I was impressed with the tech loaded in it and the refinements. Kyle knew I was in a bad placed due the news of my previous car. He went to GM Don McEwen who was by that time fully aware of my situation. I was given a very fair price for the new car with added discounts for my military service and Chevy rebates. I discussed all of this with my wife. She knew what that Mustang meant to me and was immediately interested in pursuing the Camaro. The difference in price from the return of the Mustang and the price of the Camaro was something we were able to pay in cash, so no financing. It was then that we met financing manager Anton Marienko. Anton went over all the numbers and was very pleasant to deal with. It took less that 30 minutes since we were paying cash for the Camaro. The entire process from the time I first stepped in the door until my wife drove the Camaro off the lot was less than 36 hours. My wife would not drive the Mustang due to the longer hood and seat configuration. She did not feel she could see well enough. The Camaro is built differently so she feels very comfortable driving it which is a plus for me. Don runs a very friendly, low pressure dealership which helped me out when I felt vulnerable. I thank him and his staff for their assistance in getting out of a very bad situation and into a brand new car that we will enjoy for many years. I also want to thank the collision specialist, Jon Sadler for his brutal honesty. His discussions with me helped immeasurably with making the decision to let the Mustang go. 5 Stars Jon !! After stating I was wanting to purchase outright, they kept wanting the financing. I was hoping to do some dealing, but there was no budging. So I left and continued on shopping. My salesman did try to get his upper to work with me in the days following, but no luck. I would browse there again in the future. But read their fine print. Their online prices are only honored if you finance. Every other dealership I've been to does not do this, and instead goes by the price listed on their website, financing or outright purchasing.

I told him I was an hour and a half away so I wanted to iron out some details before I make the trip. We discussed my trade and he asked me to send pictures and asked a few questions. He told me the range they would offer for my trade, pending physical inspection. I was good with that range. I told him I planned to come on Friday. He asked what time and I told him I would let him know tomorrow (Thursday) Thursday morning he texted to ask when I was coming and I told him Friday around 10:30/11:00 and asked if he could send me the Carfax for the truck. He said he would put me down for 10:30 and sent me the Carfax He texted back and said "tomorrow is my day off so when you come in, let the sales staff know you were working with me and they will get you started" That concerned me a little so I asked "Will whoever I will be working with have the information on my trade and the range you gave me?" He said "yes, I spoke to the owner personally about the trade. He said all of that information is saved in your profile along with the photos you sent me" On Friday, I drove for an hour and a half. I arrived at 10:30. When I arrived I saw that they had pulled the truck up front for me. I went inside and was greeted by, Barry (I think) I told him what Jon told me to say and he went to get someone to help me. Someone named Ric came over and shook my hand and said they would get a plate on the truck so I could take it for a test drive and I could leave my keys so they can do the inspection of my trade. I went outside and walked around the truck to check it out. Barry came out to get my drivers license. When he came back out with the plate and my license, he said to go ahead and take it for a test drive and when I get back I can sit with someone to discuss I got in the truck, moved the seat up, put my seatbelt on, started the truck and Barry and another man came rushing out, so I put the window down and they told me the truck was just sold. I drove an hour and a half for that. I find it interesting that the subject line in the emails they sent said "your frontier is ready at Somersworth Nissan. Nobody took me aside to explain anything... nobody so much as said "I am so sorry this happened" nothing I texted Jon when I left- I wanted him to know what happened. He did not respond I called and left a message for the owner Brendan Forget. He did not respond. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone, in fact I'm going out of my way to spread the word about the awful treatment I received. I mean, if a mistake was made, they should have spoken to me- they should have reached out. This was someone I was conversing with for 3 days by text and email- and then silence. Their customer service skills are a joke.

As someone who has mechanics in their family, I decided to have them look at my car to confirm this issue and was told there were no issues with this said part. I decided to get my car inspected at the dealership for a second opinion where it passed with everything in the "green" accept for some fluid changes. If anyone knows cars and inspections, there's always wiggle room. Green being no issues, yellow being an issue but still passable, and red being not passable. So EVERYTHING except for fluids was in the "green" with my car at the dealership. I went back to this place (that I'm reviewing now) to ask them about a refund as I would have been out $900 with these people for a zero issue if I hadn't gone for a second opinion. And since having to get a second opinion and passing, I felt I was given shady service by this place in review. I was also put out as I had to borrow my parents car for a trip I was about to take because, at the time, I did not feel comfortable driving my car with the issue it was failed for. When asking for a refund, I was not only questioned by the owner about why I even went for a second opinion but was also informed by another employee there that they remembered my car and that they fought with the person inspecting my car because there was no issue. Ultimately, the inspector won that battle thus failing my car and quoting me $900. The OWNER questioned my car "passing" somewhere else, wanting to see the new sticker with his own eyes like I was lying about it. I was told it's at the discretion of the person inspecting to determine if the car is passable or not and I would have accepted that excuse if any part of my car landed in the yellow. But seeing as how everything was green, I could not accept that as an excuse for failing my car. I got my refund but questioned to them "who else is this happening to" because I'll bet not many go for a second opinion somewhere else dishing out money they don't need to dish out to get their cars fixed when maybe there isn't even something needing to be fixed. So I say to anyone going to this place of business for a car inspection ... Be weary of the service they provide and get a second opinion if you feel something is shady because it most likely is. Be careful who you do business with. I won't be trusting this facility with any of my other vehicles in the future and I won't be sending anyone I know their way. It's too bad too... I wanted to support a local business. But apparently a local business didn't want to support me.

I was able to order my tire online, and request a appointment on a Sunday afternoon. Within minutes of requesting a appointment, I had it scheduled for the next day. I also included a oil change service as well. I went in, gave them the info about my tire, and left. A few hours later they called me letting me know my car was ready. When I arrived I noticed that my slashed tire was still on the car. I went in and explained the issue, and they immediately took action. A simple mistake of doing the wrong tire. That's life, it happens. Within 20 minutes I was on my way. I would return to them again because they put the customer first, and acknowledged their mistake.

NOT SO FAST OLD MAN! The good folks at Sullivan told me the tire couldn't be repaired because the screw was too close to the sidewall. What they didn't know is that I knew exactly where the screw was. It was well within the tread. But they REALLY wanted to help with my problem, and offered to sell me one tire, for nearly $400. Installed I assume, or maybe not. So, I took my leak elsewhere. Got it repaired for $40 and made a friend. The man has been in the tire business for decades, and just shook his head when I told him the story. Here's the thing: I never begrudge a man a day's pay, but do not try to take advantage of me. I'm too old and I worked too f***ing hard for my pension to get porked because the rubber merchants had a slow day. Sullivan Tire will reply, bleating their side of the story. And that's fine. I know the truth. Now you do too.

The paperwork handling is absolutely ridiculous if you are put on an intransit plate from them to New York. Why would registration / titling paperwork on their end be sent to Beacon Auto Tag in Williamstown, New Jersey ??? Goes from Vermont to New Jersey to New York (some private DMV as Beacon says) then finally to the customer. It should not take over 6 weeks for the paperwork to process unless the so-called title clerk did her job correctly; what happened to the TC doing the job; instead of sending paperwork to some fly-by-night company like BEACON AUTO TAG. Doesn't the dealerships know they are losing so much money !!!
