    I lived in South Boston for most of my life and therefore, drove USED cars (IYKYK). I moved to southern Maine a few years ago and this week, determined it was time to retire my 2010 Honda Civic, and to buy a new car (my first brand new car). Cody Mundo reached out to me on Tuesday after an e-inquiry into a crosstrek. He was chill and attentive during the call so I headed over to the dealership to meet him. I fell in love with a Crosstrek sport (black with gold trim: GO BRUINS!). Cody was wonderful, knowledgeable, and not pushy and the car was exactly what I hoped it would be. I also spoke with Christine (I believe she is a sales manager) and she was funny and answered a bunch of additional financing questions. I put a deposit down and the next day, Cody emailed me a pic of "my car" ready to be picked up. I met with Kyle, another manager, put in my financing application (3.9% is a great rate!) and drove my new Bruins-mobile home. The next morning, Cody checked in to see how my drive home was and how much I am loving my car. He made it clear that I should feel free to call/email/visit him for additional training on the features or if I have questions. I will absolutely recommend Cody Mundo and the great folks at McGovern to my family and friends in search of a car.

After them having the vehicle for a few days I got called it was all set and ready for pickup. I showed up the pickup the escalade around 6:20PM and was nicely helped by Jordan one of the sales people! I then noticed that my front driver side wheel was damaged and the repairs for warranty were still not fixed and the service door latch system light was still appearing! Jordan was trying to help the best he can as he saw the fresh damage on my wheel he took pictures in the parking lot of my wheel as they are aftermarket vossen forged wheels. I then called in the next morning and spoke to the service manager and he was insisting i drive the vehicle all the way back for him to just look at the wheel in which everyone already had pictures of the damage they did and you can see it rubbed against the lift! Also noted I then reached out to my warranty company and they claimed a BCM had failed and they forged my signature on the documents in which i have proof of for them to be paid prior to me picking up the vehicle! With my wife going into labor any second now I do not have the time to be able to drive back and fourth to the dealership and I just wanted it fixed correctly and not damaged I do not want my car going back to them. Forging Documents Damaging My Escalade Forged Wheels Not repairing the Issue it was dropped off I reached out as this dealership doesn't have a specific general manager or present person to help get this fixed for me other than the direct department people!

    While browsing for cars, I was brought to the site of Holloway Buick GMC Cadillac. My price…read moreselection was $5,000-$20,000. There was a car listed under those parameters but it didn't show the price. It provided a icon to click on. Instead if clicking on the that icon, I clicked on Chat and asked why a price would not be shown. I was directed to click on the icon. When clicking on the Price icon I was brought to a series of fields including Required Name, Email, and Zip Code, which I filled out. There was a Preferred Contact field in which I selected email. When I selected email, my phone immediately appeared in the Phone field even though I never entered it. I was a trick that I happened to get lucky in noticing and proceeded to delete it before submitting it. I had just completely deleting my Spam folder when the folder showed 1 email again; an email from Holloway Buick GMC Cadillac. Curious, I opened it and decided to reply with a complaint. When clicking on reply, it sent me to a WARNING page telling me to Go back! Steer clear of the Holloway Buick GMC Cadillac website AND their dealership! When I didn't give my cell, they stole it. When I gave them my email, they spammed me!

I live pretty far away, and after making the drive and being just 5 minutes away--literally about to arrive on time--they called me to say the car was no longer there because it had been sent to auction. Apparently it was a "typo" on their end... which is honestly unacceptable. This was a complete waste of my time and shows a serious lack of professionalism and organization. I even followed up the same day to confirm everything, so there's really no excuse. If they can't keep track of their inventory or communicate basic information to customers, I wouldn't trust them with anything else. Definitely would not recommend doing business here.

He was professional, communicative, and focused on making things right. There was no defensiveness -- just accountability and action. As an apology for the inconvenience, they offered to put winter tires on my vehicle, and they fully honored that commitment. Mistakes can happen anywhere. What truly matters is how a business responds, and in this case, McGovern handled it the right way. They stood behind their word, resolved the issue promptly, and treated me with respect. The GM, Pete, is probably one of the most patronizing unprofessional people I have ever come across. He is the reason why people hate buying cars. Right after I purchased my car I noticed an alignment issue where my car was pulling to the left. After several phone calls with the GM, finance manager(ridiculous, right?) and service, my car was dropped off several times over a 3 week period for them to finally fix the problem. After all was said and done I cancelled my service contract with them because I don't ever want to go back to deal with that place again. I am not disputing that there may have been issues at Key in the past. I wouldn't know. But I can say that now, in 2016, my experience was a refreshingly easy and honest one.
