The swordfish was out of this world- tender, succulent, & well spiced. Even the saffron rice it was served upon was lovely. Hubby enjoyed the cracker crusted app pizza, as well. The wagyu burger was quite possibly the best burger I have ever enjoyed. Even the gluten free bun was, (dare I say), a stand out. Hubby's wagyu was served on a "normal" bun which he said was outstanding as well. It is called a Grown up Happy Meal. Finally, the truffle fries were prepared in what appeared to be in the classical, French way, that is, like pomme frites. Cassie was very friendly right from the start. Made for a very enjoyable meal. I had the blackened salmon, dinner with Jasmine rice and steamed broccoli and hubby had the fish and chips. Both dinners were delicious and enough food to take home for a second meal. Heading back there tonight for a birthday dinner. Unless There is something new on the menu, I'll be ordering the blackened salmon dinner once again and I'm sure hubby will order the fish and chips. Like... a pile. My son got the cheeseburger off the kids menu and it was honestly big for a kids meal. He was pumped. And $2 for a 22oz Coors Light all day? That's a win. Service has always been fine for us. Lots of younger girls working as waitresses and we've never had anyone rude or inattentive. Nothing over the top, just consistent and friendly. There are random pinball machines and games in the back which feels kind of unexpected but fun. It's a great spot to watch a game, bring the kids, or just hang out. My only complaint was the smell. There was definitely an odd sewage/urine-type smell in parts of the place, and after seeing other reviews mention it, I understand what people are talking about. It wasn't enough to make me dislike the place, but it was noticeable. Without that issue, just based on my first impression, I probably would have given it five stars instead of four.
