Don't come to Doug's. I used to come here all the time, but stopped because the majority of their machines don't work. That's not an exaggeration; it's MOST of their machines. Some have been out for like a year now. Every time I go (which was about once a week) one or two more are out and they never fix them. They just put an out of order sign on it. Now it's accumulated to the point where MOST of their machines are out. I actually don't know how they stay in business with so few working machines. I do my own laundry, this place is nice but too many machines are out of order. It's 7:45 am and 40 degrees outside and they have the ceiling fans on inside. I mean really, I work so I like that they open at 7:00 am, when they are on time, this morning they opened up late. 1/2 of to top loading washer are down. If you need to wash most anything, I love that Doug's is not trying to get your pay check. There are a lot washing machine that are not working, they need to work on that. This place is Clean and the workers are very helpful. read more

Overpriced, slow washers, but overall, not terrible. This laundromat is within walking distance of my apartment, so I decided to give it a try. First observation is that the price for washers is on the expensive side. They start at $2.50 for a tiny, single load, to over $6 for larger loads. The wash was slow, timing at 44 minutes on the smallest washer for one load, even though the timer said 30 minutes. This was the same with a second visit as well. The dryers were a bit better, running at 25 cents per 7 minutes. Dry times were good too. Overall, I wasn't particularly impressed with this place, but think it's a fair place to stop if it's the closest to you. read more

They are horrible on wait times for drop off, they will tell you come back on a Thursday...well you come back and its not ready (they will then blame it on a coworker). The place is overall janky, the staff is as rude as can be. I also lost a few pairs of clothing when I did drop off service, while we were able to get this resolved I have not been able to retrieve the lost items and the experience overall was horrific. I usually use their drop off laundry service but not anymore. From the bad attitudes to not having my stuff ready it is getting ridiculous. I dropped off my laundry on Friday and was told it would be ready on Tuesday. Got there Tuesday before close and they hadn't even started. My kids had no clean uniforms for school the next day. The lady working that night was nice and empathetic and made sure it was ready the next night. But the "manager" that works during day? She has a whole attitude problem. Ive dropped off laundry with her before and she had an attitude because it was close to ten and I wanted same day pick up as advertised. She is obviously overwhelmed and has a severe lack of people skills. She was mad because right before 10 I brought a small basket and needed 2 blazers pressed for an out of state business meeting. She was mad and irate. I told her dont press them its fine. She angrily tells me its going to happen. I started to leave, called, asked to talk to a manager and she tells me shes the manager. Tells me someone will call and hangs up. I went and asked for my stuff back (by then I was over it) She had a whole melt down. LIKE A WHOLE MELT DOWN. She was yelling and everything by the time i left. I went in for a service that was offered by the cut off time for that service. I was met with an overwhelmed lady who cant manage her work load or talk to customers. I am a manager with a massive corporation that is all about customer service. I found the whole situation appalling and there various ways to approach situations like that as a "manager." read more

This place is soooo fucking stupid. They don't do refunds. 1st of all who wants a refund. Just give me more time on my clothes to dry. I put .25 cent in the dryer. I got four minutes. Then I added another .25 into the same dryer got 8 min. I had two dryers I added .25 cent four minutes and added another.25 but got 11 minutes. So something is off with the time on the dryer. The rude af worker told me if I was unhappy then I could get my clothes and go somewhere else. Before the white girl was sooo fucking rude she told me they accommodate their customers. I asked how. She couldn't explain to me how. She kept saying we don't do refunds. Well add more time to my clothes that's alll I want!!!!! I recently needed to wash a king size comforter and didn't mind doing it myself. An extra large front loader washing machine costs $6 for a 25 minute wash. I dried for about 24 minutes (8 min per quarter). Didn't interact with any employees, but I did see a girl sweeping the floor during the hour I was there. No frills, but it got the job done and I caught up on some reading while I waited. read more

Doug's has been my go-to for over 20 years. I've done everything from our large bedding to dropping off a week's worth of laundry for our large family so I could just have.it.done. Tonight, four days before Christmas, I'm sitting in this bright, clean, quiet, open laundromat washing everything we own because we've got our second covid case in the house (8 people at home!) and our washer at home decided it wanted to take a Christmas vacation. Super capacity washers are clean and quick: 25 minutes for a load. When I can't wash at home for whatever reason, you'll find me at Doug's. read more

If you're looking for a racist laundry mat, Doug's is the place to go. At approx 12:30 pm on April 15th 2022 I (a white male) walked in with a medium sized bag of clothes to drop off, Upon entering you make an immediate left towards the office/drop off area and as I was doing so there were two black females who saw me walk in and the one standing closet to the office door closed it, even with my telling her I'm there to drop off, When she opened the door the other female who was sitted during the whole started laughing then they both did, while I waited for the first female to take my info and instructions I asked her (I'm glad I did too) when could I pick up my clothes, she retorted that it would be the following Wednesday, mind you this is a Friday afternoon,, I asked her if she was serious and again retorted yes."they were busy" so much so one of them found time to stay seated during the whole time. I said no and took my bag and left, I had been going there anywhere from 2 to 4 times a month, No longer,,, I do hope this is read and rectified but I'm not holding my breath. read more

We are new to the area and were looking for somewhere to have our bedding cleaned. I called to ask about scheduling a drop off and the lady who answered the phone started yelling immediately saying they were not a drop off cleaners. She made it very clear that I could not drop off our bedding for cleaning. If that's how they treat someone over the phone I can only image what it's like going in person. read more

I come there often and every time I see the employees, they look so tired and worn out. And nothing works?! Half of their white washers seem to be out of order, along with a few dryers. Bathroom never has toilet paper, or paper towels. They've upped their price from $6 to $6.50 and $4.50 to $5! This place is going downhill.. But they keep the place very clean with the washers and floor. They clean vents, washers, take out trash, and Ive even seen them mop. Their quarter machines are ratchet too! One is always out. Good service and employees though. I do recommend if your washers or dryers have gone out or a temporary fix. read more

The machines are fine and the facility is ok. The only issue I have is the weekend staff. Four times this year I've gotten there to wash medium weight comforters and the staff was late arriving, meaning after 7:15am. For the weekend crew, I recommend calling before arriving especially if you are in a hurry. read more

I give it one star because I've been going to Doug's laundry for about 5 years. Even now that I'm living in Edmond I haven't bought a washer and dryer and I drive all the way over to Doug's to do my laundry. I spend $15 to $20 a week every week, every month for the past 5 years at Doug's laundry. Today I came in at around 8:30 a.m. and the machines weren't clean and I knew they should be clean because they're supposed to clean them every night. The large-capacity washing machines all three of them had dog hair on them and they looked like they had never been touched. I went to the woman in the office, rang the doorbell and she said what do you need? But it was all snarky and crap, right. I asked if the machines have been washed yet or do I need to wait for that? she said yeah they've been washed their supposed to wash them every night (still snarky) I said well there's three over here that's not. my tone was easy because I woke up on the right side of the bed this morning and feeling good. I felt refreshed and relaxed... was in a positive mood and that's the way I approached her... she however must have woke up on the wrong side of the bed. I'm speaking about the old woman with blond curly hair missing a few teeth in the front and then one she does have is hanging on by a prayer. I've seen her before throughout the years so I know she's been there for a while. I don't know if she's in any relation to the man that comes and collects all the coins but I will be calling about her behavior. She was very erratic, very unconsoling, and absolutely intolerable. She was terribly unprofessional from the word hello. She kept griping about how she's the only one there and can't do everything, that she has customers to take care of.I told her well I'm a customer too and I need your help for a few seconds. Prior to her bursting out into her rant ,I was going to offer to clean the machines myself which I have done before. But she just kept on and on and on and on and I finally just told her you know what? It's fine it's okay, and I grabbed my two large loads of laundry that would have cost at least $20 to $25 to wash and dry because I had a comforter, and walked back to my car. This woman let 5 grand walk out of that establishment forever because she didn't want to wipe down three machines. Besides that she really would have been mad if I would have told her to do it again, because as I was leaving, I noticed that she had just gone to the sink to put water on a rag and thought that was going to clean the machines. Uh no boo you need to put some cleaner on there and wipe the entire thing down. She was still hollering as I walked out smh She really either need a vacation, to be loved or retire completely....
