You won't go wrong with Douglas Wright. I needed someone to come out to look at the electrical unit for my pool pump. Doug was not only punctual, but he was courteous, knowledgeable and honest. I only needed help on one thing but he ended up troubleshooting two other electrical issues I had. I will most definitely use him again for my next project! Thank you so much Doug. read more

Douglas Electric is fast, reasonable and very professional. Look no further. They are the best.

Jeremy Thibault's business is Douglas Wright Electric. His partner is Douglas. Professionally speaking I've never met and experienced a more thorough and professional contractor every since I've been hiring contractors and handymans. We communicated via email and Jeremy was very quick to reply. This is what I really liked about him that he replied quickly. And I was surprised he replied quickly because it was via email. Our communication evolved via text. I had to postpone our date of install because my dog was going through a major operation. I thought Jeremy had forgotten about me but surprisingly he text me again. We connected also because we're dog lovers. Any dog lover, in my opinion, is a good person! Heck he even inquired about our dog Lucas to see how the operation had gone! He installed my Chargepoint for my Chevy Bolt. His warranty is way better than ones I've shopped, it's for two years warranty on labor! Who does that? Usually it's a minimum of one year. Folks, if you are looking for a very professional anything-to-do-with-electric install, stop shopping elsewhere and call Jeremy Thibault of Douglas Electric! Jeremy KNOWS what the heck he's doing. He's not only very professional but also cordial and not pushy. Pushy people annoy me. And last but not the least, he's a dog lover, too! You can't go wrong with this guy! He delivered to me a 5-Star experience! I'd go on to say that I've hired many contractors and not only is Jeremy knowledgeable but he cares about your needs. Heck he even vacuumed the workplace! I was looking for an electrician that had experience installing a transfer switch for my gas generator. Jeremy gave a great quote, not the cheapest..but also not the highest. Jeremy installed the transfer switch and one exterior outlet. It was done quickly and professionally. The exterior conduit was level with perfect bends. I'm now ready for the next power failure. read more

Douglas is the best! I didn't realize my electrical issue was a quick fix. I described the issue which was a circuit breaker issue. He patiently walked me through the outside breakers and then the inside outlet breakers. I didn't realize that the outlet breaker I had already tripped and reset, tripped again with my vacuum cleaner. I reset it over the phone with him again. I was glad he took the time to assist me with going back over the steps as well as adding my additional steps with the circuit breaker. I didn't have to wake my husband up either! He's the best and I owe him lunch. Very nice guy. Give him a try! read more

Douglas Wright Eletric was great! I called Wednesday night for a project to add an outlet to my backyard to run a small hot tub and he answered right away, provided a reasonable quote over the phone, and said he could do the job tomorrow. He showed up early, got to work right away, and completed the project very quickly. It looks great and I couldn't be happier. I would recommend Douglas Wright to anyone looking for a quality, affordable electrician. read more

I'm blown away by the service of this company. We have our house on the market this weekend. The night before our first showing, a GFCI switch tripped and we couldn't find the source of the problem. I used the Yelp feature that lets you source multiple quotes. I needed someone who could come out quick. Douglas Wright Electric was available the next day. He was prompt, communicative, and solved the problem immediately (thankfully it was a quick fix). You can tell they care about their customers. Super happy with our experience with them. read more

Prompt and great communication from the start. We needed several outdoor outlets installed and this crew was on time and did a great job. Polite and professional. This company responded very promptly to my inquiry on Yelp. I decided to hire them after receiving my quote to install a light over my pool table with a dimmer switch and a fan on my patio. The installers showed up on time which shows a high level of customer service. All work was completed as discussed from my quote. The work was done to my satisfaction and I would certainly hire them again for any electrical project. I would recommend this company to anyone needing electrical work, five stars! read more

I'm really glad we decided to go with Jeremy Thibault for our electrical projects. I'm pretty handy but electrical is one thing I don't mess with. He was extremely knowledgable about our Ring products that needed to be installed (Pro doorbell and Security light). He had both and running very quickly. It was extremely helpful that he has the products installed in his own home and was able to share his settings and show me how it worked before installing. The outdoor light didn't have existing wiring. Our standard doorbell wasn't working well before the install so he fixed that with a bigger transformer, a loose wire on a chandelier that stopped working, and updated an outdoor outlet to make it more weatherproof. Very cool, honest, and trustworthy guy. He showed up on time, communicated throughout the projects, cleaned up after each one and his quote didn't change. He also guarantees his work for 2 years. We'll be sure to call him in the future for electrical needs and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. read more

Hands down one of the most pleasant experiences I've ever had with contractor. Their professionalism stood out to me when they asked the proper questions and gave me an honest quote over Yelp messages. Instead of asking for an arm and a leg, I was given an excellent price and an explanation of the process. They showed up exactly on time, went over everything, and even installed a courtesy hook to wrap my charger cord around. Definitely will call them any time I need electrical work done. FYI I hired them to install a NEMA 6-50 outlet in my garage for an EV. read more
