We tried flipping all the breakers on and off 10 times and nothing would reset. I also tried resetting the ground switch on one of the outlets which would not click. That same outlet was really hot so I didn't want to mess with something potentially hazardous. These were the first electricians I found on Yelp and saw that they were licensed and offered free estimates. I called at 7:52AM and Autumn picked up 8 minutes before opening which was so nice and won my trust. She told me that she could get a technician out the same day and that they would do an inspection. To me, that sounded like a "free estimate" which is what is written on their Yelp business page. Gabe arrived and checked out the outlet with a volt meter, unscrewed it and inspected it. Then he went out and flipped a switch in my breaker box. Sadly my kitchen breakers were mislabeled by the previous home owner and the power was back on those 5 outlets. He was really nice about it and I said I felt confused for not realizing the mislabeled breakers and that miraculously it was suddenly working again. I waited to see if there was a service or labor fee. He still didn't say anything. So I straight up asked, "So is there a service fee for this?" He said, "It's $195." I thought it was a joke and asked, "wait for like 5 minutes of your time?" He was serious. I felt gutted. Ok so I get that I probably took up his time from another service appt so on a business standpoint, I am responsible for an hour of their time even if it's literally 5 mins bc they sent out a tech and time is money. But wow $195. It's like a whole day of work or with 20 meals. I should have been more detailed when I booked the appt and asked Autumn how much the service fee was going to be. I really wished she could have warned me about the pricing. I did ask Gabe for a discount and he asked me to leave a review and he would reduce the charge for $150. I really appreciated the discount and he was a nice guy and did solve the issue. So thank you Gabe and Firefly!

While this sounds easy to do, I have done it myself in the past, Eleazar and Gab had their hands full up in the attic trying to route and fish wire around some difficult framing which made me more than happy to turn over to the experts. But in no time they had it figured out and the fan completely installed. So I had them hang a replacement fan in the other room which was already wired up. Once again, thanks Firefly

I have been avoiding big box stores and this is a locally-owned shop. It can be a bit overwhelming to walk in and see so many options - especially because this is my first time buying my own ceiling fan - but the employees make time to discuss your room sizes, style preferences, aesthetics, price points, all of it. They have options for EVERY style and budget right there in the store... as well as a table of thick books with thousands more options. I landed on some high-end fans, which feels worth it to me because I don't foresee wanting to switch these up for many years (if ever). They are Minka-Aire stainless steel fans with lights, very modern looking and high-quality. I was educated a bit as well, and these are meant to run continuously, meaning my home will get the fresh-air feeling year-round! I paid for the fans after I ordered them, and then they scheduled installation for just two weeks later - the installer showed up a little bit early (which I loved) and got five fans installed in exactly two hours, which was the window they'd provided me. He set up a table and assembled the fans in the home, and mentioned these particular fans happen to have more parts than most so they took a little more time to assemble. He left no trace, taking out the boxes and everything, leaving not a stitch of dust or debris anywhere. He also mounted the remote control holders to the wall, next to my light switches (at my request) so they don't get lost. I am so thrilled with this experience!

We have one fan on back order (we ended up buying three to match since only two were in stock). Chris sent over Patrick to install the two they had available so we would have them by the time our guests come by. We are hopeful that the third fan will come in soon but so far we have nothing but good things to say about them.

My wife contacted the company on Yelp and received a call back almost immediately. They quoted us the service fee and asked when would it be convenient for us. Made the appointment for two days later and they showed up right on time. My wife had lost the power in her sewing room. They checked the fuse box, then all the outlets in the room. Quickly diagnosing the problem area, they had it repaired in just a few minutes and tightened up a couple of other connections that were loose. I then discussed a couple of extra electrical concerns I had and they made recommendations for dealing with them. There were no additional charges beyond the service call fee. They arrived within 20 minutes and immediately began diagnosing my problems. After only about 10 minutes, they traced the problem back to a wall switch that had improperly been repaired by another electricity service provider. Within another 15 minutes, they had that switch replaced, and I had power again. While they were looking around in the main breaker box, the tech noticed that my drip system electricity had been improperly, connected to an existing circuit by the people who had installed it originally. He hived off that connection And added a separate breaker for it in the box while he was there. This is the kind of service I love going above and beyond. I paid a flat service call fee, and an extra $100 for the drip system breaker work. In total, the cost was less than what the previous electrician had charged me to screw up the switch. This is the second time I've used Colin and Scheid Electric and I'll always call him now when I have electric needs. Fast friendly and knowledgeable. This is what you want in a home service provider. Highly recommended if you are in East Valley.
