I go for effective, punctual and wise care. Dr. Buckner is the best of pediatricians I ever had. I already went to many doctors with my children, they always had 2-3 weeks of wait before the available appointment. They don't care, if your child needs to be seen asap. When you come to their offices, you always wait up to 2-3 hours! Dr. Buckner's office is a rare case where sometimes you can come to be seen on the same, or the next day. Maximum wait time was 30 minutes from in and out, all our appointments were just on time! And the most important thing - he truly cares and my kids love him! Thank you, Dr Buckner! We are happy to find you!

My due date is just a couple weeks away and I have a doula who will be attending the birth and he was very open and supporting the plan. He is gentle and has great bedside manners. My husband enjoys talking to him as well about the pregnancy and what to expect in the next couple of weeks. The best part is the doulas (Luma Doulas) we hired really like him and was thrilled that he was going to be taking over for the rest of my pregnancy. They stated that he is very hands off and allows the mom to make full decisions without being pushy. If you are wanting to try an un-medicated labor with doulas for your labor and would like a physician that is understanding and accommodating he is absolutely phenomenal. My husband and I are not crunchy but for our labor experience we wanted to make sure it was smooth and as stress-free as possible. I am open to medication and allowing Dr. Tiglao to guide me when it is medically necessary, but to be able to experience and at least try my best without the use of pain meds is my initial goal! Will do an updated review for Good Samaritan once we deliver! Don't hesitate to give Dr. Tiglao a call the Los Olivos Group has been a great experience for us as first time parents.

Her words with respect to Caro's opinion: to a carpenter, everything looks like a hammer. Dr. Caro could also not offer any real explanation for present symptoms, but cautioned me to not ride my bike, my primary mode of transport, for the duration. It all felt a bit like guess-work, a.k.a. what I'd been doing in the confines of my own home prior to seeking treatment. A return visit to Dr. Caro is now not forthcoming. The two receptionists I dealt with were, sort of, two sides of the same coin: one was personable, efficient & present; the other one had an off-putting, distracted manner. The best bit was when she coughed directly & at length into the telephone receiver after asking me a question. Spoiler alert: I had to repeat the answer. After getting the usual who-are-you info. out of the way, I was told this: you'll be asked for a urine sample, so come prepared! I took that to mean that there would be no water fountain in the office & I had better schlep my own water to the appointment-which I did. Upon entering the office, I immediately saw a water cooler set up with cups for patients' use & I thought to myself, duh, it's a urologist's office, dummy. In addition to being told to come prepared, I was also told (in response to my direct question) that this office does indeed accept Blue Cross. My scheduled visit, not two days later, included the following information: as it's the beginning of the year, you may or may not receive a bill for our services. We may or may not be in network (for Blue Cross users). Had I known that at the outset, I would have gone elsewhere. -not keen to potentially pay up to 300 bucks for a urine test/urethra check. Then there's a mandatory waiting period before the operation (to avoid buyer's remorse?). The operation itself was brief and relatively painless. I only felt the needle for the first Novocaine shot, and I've felt worse shots at the dentist. The procedure lasted about 45 minutes, just the doctor and me, chatting and listening to music. This is way preferable to the woman's equivalent operation, which involves an OR, anesthesiologist, serious recuperation, etc. When I got home I applied ice packs (OK, frozen peas) as instructed and didn't have any swelling and only minor pain. The scars immediately after the surgery looked pretty bad, and some bruising developed. I'm kind of glad it was a holiday the day after the procedure, but I was back to work (sitting at a computer) two days after. I felt OK, but took it easy and didn't climb stairs for a few days. The bruising disappeared in a week and the scars took about three weeks to completely disappear. The stitches dissolved and didn't require another visit to take out. Full, um, function returned in a week as the doctor estimated. Dr. Caro is friendly and professional, and obviously knows his stuff. I'd recommend him to anyone contemplating this procedure.

From my very first appointment I knew Dr. Young would now be my regular doctor. I then referred both my mother and brother to him and he is now our family's doctor. Before I scheduled my first appointment the very hard working receptionist, Adrian, advised me that often Dr. Young runs late for a couple of legitimate reasons. 1) He is the only doctor in the office and 2) He is a surgeon's assistant and, well, you don't rush surgeries. Adrian said it would be a good idea to call ahead of time on your appointment day to see if he was indeed running late as to not inconvenience you. Dr. Young is super thorough and considerate of your concerns. It is refreshing to be with a doctor who listens to his patients and not just talks. He has a very calm demeanor and talks softly which is comforting. Dr. Young's staff is on point too. Adrian handles the front desk flawlessly, Blanca triages you with skill and a friendly word and Michelle goes above and beyond to handle the billing and works tirelessly with the very difficult insurance companies. All in all I plan on staying with this office for a long time.

He is very knowledgeable about a variety of topics and can have discussions on any topic. He is obviously knowledgeable in his field of medicine. He sometimes gets into a conversation and starts using medical terminology, which I usually understand, but I can see that some patients can get intimidated by that. He has a very relaxed attitude and wants you to be stress-free throughout the pregnancy, so he will not unnecessarily make changes on your diet, medications, etc. unless there is an issue. He gave us enough time to ask questions during regular OB visits. He never ordered unnecessary ultrasounds or medicines which I took as a good sign of an experienced doctor. He came to see me at the hospital when I went into labor and took quick decisions regarding the delivery based on the baby's heart rate and we concluded that we need to do a C-section and not wait any longer. He was not the dr. on call but he made changes to his schedule and performed the C-section. He came to see me each day I was in the hospital and was always positive. He is very practical and doesn't want you to take unnecessary stress and he was a very patient listener when I was trying to adjust to the changes that come with a newborn. - The office staff have also been great and I never had any issues in scheduling appointments and follow ups. I never had to wait in the waiting area to begin the appointment. There were some wait times in the exam room but I understand that patients have lots of questions and Dr. Rarick always gives additional time to answer those questions and does not hurry the patient. He is Board Certified which I don't know what exactly that means, but supposedly it's a good thing. He is accepting new patients which at the time of the appointment was a bad thing. His office is close by our house which again is a good thing. Wait time in the lobby is kept to a minimum....if you stop and think about it, this can be a bad thing. He completed his undergrad at Brown which is the same school as my sister in-law, good thing? So how was my first visit? It was painless and strangely enjoyable.
