I was a patient of Dr. Woiwode for about 10 years and truly cannot say enough about how wonderful she is. She's the best doctor I've ever had. She is compassionate, pragmatic, and thorough. I never felt rushed and she always took the time to discuss anything I had questions about. She caught some things early that most other doctors wouldn't have considered, and I'm so grateful. Not only is she a wonderful physician, but she's also so kind and thoughtful. Dr Nora Woiwode is NOT Retiring!!!! Dr. is the Best MD that I've ever had. I found her in 2011 while I was doing a Travel Nurse assignment in the area and needed a Primary Care MD for me. We started doing Telehealth prior to it being a thing. Plus of COVID was adding video to our phone calls, messaging and annual vs. twice per year in person visits. Dr Woiwode is an AMAZING diagnostician, besides "getting" her patients. She explains things in English. Takes her time during visit, responds quickly to patients phone calls, messages etc. is extremely empathetic as well. Sutter Health should clone her. She is totally worth - flying up from So. It is now June - and this is the first time I was able to get into another INTERNIST practice at PAMF and the first appointment is DECEMBER 11, 2024. I have called at least 15 internists in several locations but none were taking new patients. Dr. Woiwode has been my primary care doctor since 2013. I usually see her once or twice a year. She is the kindest doctor I have ever seen. Whenever I go for my appointments, I never feel rushed and I genuinely feel she listens and understands my concerns. She is usually quick to follow up on emails or if you have any lab results that you are waiting for. In my experience, she won't push prescriptions if she feels that there is a good OTC alternative to try before getting something prescribed. Appointments usually run on time. Dr. Woiwode is clueless most of the time and tends to dismiss your issues. Her standard response is -- "oh.. you are too young to develop such problems". She is very disinterested to provide proper treatment and also doesn't remember any details about the patient. I had told her that I eat 5 servings of vegetables and fruits and exercise regularly. She appreciated me for eating very healthy. In a subsequent visit, she forgot about this and asked me to eat 5 servings of veg and fruits..what?? I have had terrible experiences with finding primary care physicians up until I found Dr. Woiwode. She is so quick with her email responses, even during weekends. She will prioritize seeing her patients and makes time in her schedule to see them if needed. The appointments aren't crazy far out since she will make room to see you when you're sick and/or need attention. I feel like this was so hard to find anywhere else in my experience. I also really appreciate her patient listening and her explanation of diagnosis. She cares to hear about follow-ups and tunes her treatment accordingly. Dr. Woiwode is fantastic, and I found myself nodding enthusiastically in agreement with the other 5-star reviews. She is thorough, accurate, gentle and kind. When she steps into the room her focus is entirely on you, the patient, and she takes her time without rushing. I have been to other physicians who make you feel like a number, not a person. Dr. Woiwode is not that way and is happy to address all of your concerns and questions. I've been going to Dr. Woiwode for about 5 years now. She's super sweet and personal, but she tends to rush out of the visit fairly quickly though. So, I advise asking your questions before and during your appointment and not afterwards as she seems to be in a hurry. Dr. Woiwode is very detail orientated with her examination and instructions, she is also very prompt with replying back to her patients through email in the Sutter Health website as well. She is also very up to date, attentive and genuine cares while you're talking even if she's typing things up in the computer. P.S. They changed to the building behind, I came to her maybe once a year and was not informed that they had moved. It took me quite awhile to find the office during my last visit and caused me to be late. Although I came in late, I still had to wait quite a bit until I was called in though... It is my first time seeing Dr. Woiwode in December of 2012 and she is also my daughter primary doctor. Due to my stress at work I developed symptoms that I never had. When she diagnose me with diabetic and hypertension I was not shocked at all. She prescribed me medication for treatments and had bad side effects. She listened to the problem I was having with it and helped me with alternatives immediately. Dr Woiwode is a nice person, but I suffered due to her over confidence and lack of interest to perform further tests while pursuing a health issue. I had been going to her since 2010 with various ailments including indigestion, bloating, stiffness in the right side of the shoulder and pain in the right elbow, lower back pain and irritation in the right eye. Most of the time she would mention that I was young to have anything serious or that I was a software engineer and needed to improve my posture. I also visited her just before moving out of CA due to a job change and she said everything was ok with me. After I moved to a different state a couple of weeks ago I had severe pain in my stomach and had to call 911 as I was alone. I was diagnosed with a severely inflamed gallbladder and had to undergo emergency surgery. My surgeon told me that all my symptoms were related to the gall bladder. I wish she had performed more tests like ultrasound apart from the regular blood tests which always turned out to be normal. read more
