I was scheduled for and appointment for Tuesday July 8 between 12pm and 5pm. The technician showed at 5pm, coming from his working area an hour away. During the installation, I was assisting with, the new window fell down into the door knocking the regulator, that helps lower and raise the window fell out to the ground. The technician then couldn't get the connecting cable connected to the regulator again. He said that he would need a part that could be bought from O'Riley's auto parts store. All the parts are in my truck awaiting a technician to install a new window. This was suppose to be only about an 1/2 hour job according to him. NOW, I have been playing phone conversations with call centers from who know where, that have not been able to give me any answers to when my truck will be fixed. It was supposed to be on Friday before 12 noon, then I got notified that Safelite couldn't find a new regulator for the repair. BUT, the original technician told me that the regulator was not damaged, it was something else. BUT, the company tells me there is not a regulator to be found at this time. Still no answers as to when my truck glass will be repaired, after 2 days of calling and waiting for the Assistant Manager, Kirk, to call me back. So far this company being rediculous in their management of customer service. TOO much AI involved in their phone systems. Hard to get a live person. If possible, more to come, don't believe the television commercials.

I specifically told them multiple times over the two weeks that they had it to please run a full diagnostic and do whatever it needed. I don't believe they did anything except replace the battery and charge me over $400 for it. Finally after two weeks, I get my car back and the tire is low and the dash is telling me service required and past due, AC is leaking, and the horn doesn't work. I don't think they did anything at all except the battery. I will definitely not go back!!

***UPDATE REVIEW!!!*** - From Disappointment to Redemption: A Complete Review of My Experience at…read morePrecision Tune Auto Care (Dawson Rd., Albany, GA) On Friday, May 30th, I left Precision Tune Auto Care feeling frustrated, unheard, and disheartened. What began as a routine oil change and windshield wiper replacement ended with a cracked windshield, a broken promise of follow-up, and a sinking feeling that I had been left to deal with the damage alone. I shared that experience publicly because I believe in truth-telling. I was honest about what happened and how deeply disappointed I felt. As a single mom, that kind of unexpected damage--and the lack of accountability--cut deeper than just inconvenience. In that moment, I questioned the decency and integrity I hoped to find in any business. But now, just a few days later, I'm writing to share the other side of the story--because something powerful happened after I hit "post" that day. Later that same evening, I received a call from Brian James, the owner of the Dawson Rd. location. We weren't able to connect until the next day, but once we spoke, everything changed. Brian didn't call to defend or deflect. He called to listen--really listen--and to understand what had happened from my perspective. During our conversation, Brian shared that he, too, had once been in a similar situation as a customer. That personal story let me know he wasn't just trying to smooth things over--he genuinely understood the frustration and disappointment I felt. He validated my experience and took immediate responsibility on behalf of his business. Within minutes of our conversation, he offered a full windshield replacement at no cost to me. More importantly, he followed through. Every step of the process, he kept me informed. I never had to chase anyone or wonder what was happening. What mattered most wasn't just the resolution--it was the way he handled it: with urgency, compassion, and respect. Brian didn't treat me like a problem to solve. He treated me like a person who deserved to be seen, heard, and made whole--and he did exactly that. This experience reminded me that while mistakes happen, what truly defines a person--or a business--is how they respond when things go wrong. Brian chose accountability. He chose to make it right. And in doing so, he restored more than just my windshield--he restored my trust. Because of him, I have no hesitation about returning to this location in the future. I believe in second chances when they're earned--and this one absolutely was. Thank you, Brian, for leading with character and care. Your actions speak volumes. Psalm 34:15-16 still stands--and today, I can say with full confidence: I was seen. And that's on everything!
