Doesn't answer the phone, no voice mail, no notices on the door, NOTHING for his loyal customers. My husband saw him at the shop 2 week ago and he said he was open with limited hours; even posted them on the door. I've tried calling at least 10 times a day on the days he said he's open and even gone by the shop several times on those days. So far, unable to make ctc in any way. VERY unprofessional. I've saved work for 6 months so I could give it to him. I'm now forced to find another glass co.

When the day came, he never showed up for the time window he was supposed to show up at. I had to call back 4 hours after the time window, and asked for him to come that afternoon. He STILL didnt' show up. This is a pitifully run business

Few days later I noticed a hair so when I visited for the second appointment they took care of it no problem. Final results look great. They were patient with me as I tried to understand the tint levels and laws, took care of my car while they worked on it and overall a pleasure to work with. I also arranged to drop off my truck and pick it up later the same day. The 3M tint looks great on my truck. I went with the Ceramic option (middle tier) due to the lack of fading and quality that 3M is known for. When talking to an employee after picking up my truck, I was told that they have been using 3M for over 15+ years and they haven't had someone come back with an issue. Additionally, I dropped of the truck at lunch and I was able to pick up the truck right after work. It was ready when I got there. Overall I have to say that I'm very happy with my purchase. The process was very easy and affordable for what I was looking for. If you are in the Warner Robins area I certainly recommend that you give Shade of Day a call and get your vehicle tinted.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND SAFELITE MACON TO ANYONE!!!…read more Safelite did not use an OEM windshield on my car. The technician also left the windshield wipers unattached. I didn't find this out until a week later when it rained and I could not use them. TERRIBLE! I should have received an OEM windshield on my 2023 vehicle and I'm extremely disappointed. fast forward 9 months to 10/20/2025: Rear view mirror came off. Took the car to the shop in Macon and they said they could not make the repair that day, that they would come the following Monday morning to my home and we chose the 8-1 window. We were told if the repair could not be accomplished, the windshield would be replaced again during that appointment. Fast forward to Monday, I get a call from the technician (Ricky, oddly enough the same technician that did the original work) around 9am, saying he'd be here at 5pm. What happened to 8-1? He also said he had no glass to make a replacement if it was needed. 5:30 pm rolls around and still no Ricky. I call him and he says "it going to be closer to 7pm". No sir, that's not going to work. I told him to have the store manager call me first thing the next day, and I have yet to hear from him. My husband reinstalled the rear view mirror. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

We had more than 150 miles to go after changing the one tire and the spare looked iffy. The tire monitoring system started alerting on the other tires, so we looked for a Discount Tire close to our route. I first called another Discount Tire and the call would not connect. I called the Discount Tire on Lake Joy Road, spoke to a very nice man, who advised he had two different sets of tires available and to come on in. He told us where to get the RV in, and came out as soon as he saw us driving in. In about an hour, we were back on the road with 4 new tires and a new spare. They made sure our tire monitoring system worked, had a nice waiting area and were just the nicest people to deal with. If you are in the Warner Robbins area or traveling like we were with an emergency tire replacement, do NOT hesitate to use this wonderful Discount Tire location!! Thank you!!

I'll start from when he replaced my wifes explorers windshield after a lawn company decided to mow rocks on Watson.. He contacted me within a coupes hrs to get scheduled. Showed up on time and was very professional. I chatted with him the entire time about his work, he is very knowledgeable. Another thing he had his son with him apprenticing as this was summer time! Don't see that much. He is proud of his work and should be. Fast forward a couple months wife called me as she has water in the floor board and the a/c wasn't working. Pulled the cabin filter and was soaked. After a several month run around with the dealer and warranty they said "Oh you had the windshield replaced, that's the leak". That's leads up to this weekend. I contacted Payton Friday and he said I'll be there this weekend! Worked out a time this morning and she showed up to trouble shoot. If you know anything about maintenance trouble shooting is where you define the line of installers/removers and actual knowledgeable craftsmen. He walked me through the entire windshield system including drains, water shedding, and seals. He inspected the bead where it would leak and even showed and talked me through exactly what he was inspecting. He did a water test for 30 min and no water. That it right? He's done not his problem. No. Payton went above and beyond again and explained what was more than likely the problem with the air dampening door for the A/C system. That it? Haha NO! We turned on the A/C and duplicated the water dripping where the air comes through the filter with another water test! But wait! There's MORE! Have another appointment with dealership in the morning to give results of the winsheild re-inpection. He offered to meet at the dealer ship to show them the issue. Bottom line very professional and worthy of business. I won't go anywhere else if I am ever in the need. Payton if you see this thanks again and keep up the professional business you have made.
