We had a 75 foot tree come down on our deck so we're eager to get the weight off the deck ASAP…read more I called Jansen Saturday early evening and they had someone on our property 10 a.m. Sunday to assess and give us an estimate. Tom couldn't have been nicer. He scheduled his crew first thing this morning (Monday). It was a full job...about eight guys. They were all professional, polite and you could tell they respect the company and worked well together. My lawn and driveway looked as clean and orderly as it did prior to the tree falling! I'd definitely recommend this company!

But to paraphrase Seinfeld "You know how to take a reservation, but not keep the reservation." You see, I had scheduled Jansen to come out and take a look at six trees that I wanted taken down. Their estimator did arrive and do his job - but I never received an estimate. Repeated requests for the estimate, or even for someone to just call, where futile. I'm not sure why they never called back. Oh well, guess they didn't need the business. Unknown number of stars for the tree service and one star for the lack of customer support/communication. Mike

Mynor and his daughter Maria are a family business and the best choice if you want reliable, dependable, honest and hard working people to handle your trees. Within 1 week, we had a storm, I woke the next morning, and the large branch was in my driveway. Luckily Mike had advised us to move our cars and we did, otherwise the car would've been totalled. His men came right out and took the whole tree down that same day. There was extensive rot throughout. The rate he charged me was better than I ever expected!!! The workers were great, knew what they were doing, everything was cleaned up afterward. I am extremely happy with the service and the professionalism. Wont be calling anyone else for future tree service.!!!

Also wanted to have the top of the hill ridge planted with some Evergreen Tree's. I became overwhelmed after seeing so many different ground covers and trees to select from. It was then I knew I needed a lot of help; this job was to much for me. I decided to contact a Landscape Contractor. After reading reviews supplied by others, I chose Piazza Property Pros to do the work. This review is about Alex Strohm, the landscape pro Piazza Property Pros sent to discuss my landscape project. Alex spent time with me discussing various ways to accomplish my goal. Alex was extremely helpful explaining the differences between ground covers, growing zones, upkeep maintenance, and costs. His landscape knowledge base was amazing. He asked me an array of questions in what I wanted before presenting an approach. He explained in terms I understood about plant selections, growth rates and watering requirements so I would understand just what I was getting into. Always asking me questions so he could understand my goals. No doubt about it, Alex knows his Landscaping job well and will go out of his way too. satisfy your requirements to meet any of your project needs. He is honest, understanding, patient and wants you to be completely satisfied when the job is done. My project is completed and I'm completely satisfied with his work accomplishment. I especially liked his follow-up weeks after completion to see if I was still satisfied. My hill is beautiful and I am completely satisfied and the costs were very reasonable, all thanks to Alex Strohm.

If you want someone to help you out with your trees- this is a YES. I have used this company for…read moremany different experiences and will continue to do it why- because they care and they just teach you and just know about trees and bushes and basically everything outside of your house. Ok let me tell you our story: -My arborvitaes needed to be propped up. Too much snow that year and they sagged - well some of them -and they helped me prop them up to save them. Rather than selling me more trees in the spring - they helped me save old ones. -Next time: I got them to prune my maple and my magnolias. And they told us listen with your magnolia this is what you want to watch out for and do to help the health of it! and then they said oh that tree you got there is a weed. Well it was a weed tree that we had just let grew. It was cut down and we were so thankful. It was a tiny tree but with it being cut down - it helped our one holly tree and a blue spruce thrive! -We continue that health maintenance they taught us on the magnolia. -And fast forward to now - with the most recent rains - two of our arborvitaes have been uprooted. They came out and helped us stake them up and will come back again to solidify things. but during their time here - they also told us about a bush that was unhealthy and a maple (which we know has to be cut down). and will help treat our little oak tree. I mean I can't speak more about this company they are beyond professional and so knowledgeable about trees and bushes. and they don't push and just ask what do you want us to do. and you can say yes to this or that and it's your choice. but they give you all this knowledge and I think I can't even fathom a company that's better than that.

I highly recommend MG Tree--and I hope you'll take a minute to understand why…read more I got 5 estimates before choosing them. Price is important, but with tree work, I believe safety, experience, equipment, and professionalism matter just as much. From the beginning, MG Tree impressed me. Their website is excellent--professional, easy to navigate, and packed with useful information. Their sales representative, Joe Hayden, arrived promptly, was professional, and had an estimate for me within hours. Best of all, he didn't try to upsell me or walk around my property looking for other work to sell me. The job itself was challenging. I have two very tall tulip poplars, my yard is on a hill, and the trees sit right on the property line with a driveway on each side. MG Tree showed up with the right equipment--a crane and bucket capable of reaching about 50 feet and maneuvering from one location to another. Other companies were talking about ropes, lifts, and repeatedly moving equipment around. That made me nervous. The crane gave the crew tremendous control over the trees, timber, and debris. Nothing was damaged. The foreman, Damian, was pleasant, polite, and professional. They did everything I asked for and more. And when they left, the cleanup was so thorough that you could hardly tell they had been there. Here's the part that really surprised me: despite having better equipment and a very professional operation, their price was extremely competitive--in some cases about half the price of less-equipped companies. When I considered safety, knowledge, professionalism, equipment, price, and the quality of the finished job, MG Tree was a perfect 10 for me. I would absolutely use them again and highly recommend MG Tree.
