Update #3 yesterday I got a phone call from another administrator and he wanted to hear again what…read morehappened, because they want to make changes and address this issues. Wow I was impressed and this is the Chick-fil-A treatment that I excepted. By the way the gentleman name is Dennis and he also agreed that he was the best ever. We need more of this so make the call and take the name note to self. This is why I'm going from a 1 start to 4. Update: Today I called and I wish I had taken the name of the manager that answered me. She was very apologetic and told me that she was going to check in this matter and that the gentleman is the sweetest person ever. I'm going to call back and get his name because as kind and nice as she was to me I want to be to him. I hope that the manager at that time can learn from this experience and treat customers better. If I could give this place a zero I would! The the only person that deserves it, is the older man working cleaning around being so kind and trying to make me not feel upset for being ignored. I arrived 5 minutes before they started lunch and placed my order in the app. The first thing that I asked the worked that is outside checking you in or taking orders was am I ok or do I need to cancel and order lunch and she said you are fine, the order went through and do you need to add anything else and i said no thanks. The line was long and they are super super slow. We have been in line for 10 minutes and only two cars have moved when my app notification says pull around your order is ready. We were confused as we have like 7 cars in front of us not even moving. We were traveling so we don't know how this place works. You need training from our people here at a chick fil A . We go around and I go inside and asked for my order to an employee and explain I came from the drive thru, he goes and ask and comes back with nada nothing. I tell him that I got a notification, one of their manager I imagine in gray comes and asks me and tells me that I ordered during breakfast and the app cancels and leaves me there without even offering to help or an option. I called her back as I have a notification and she says did you order with the worker up front and after I said yes she said I don't think so. At this point I'm frustrated it's our second day driving back home after a great vacation and drive and this lady just ruined my day. I want to give a shout out to the decent older man that works there and try so hard to make things better by saying maybe there is going to be an accident and this is why you are being late (bless his heart) he was so sweet. I go to the car to get my phone and show to the manager or whoever gray tshirt was and when I come back she has my order and not even an apology. I will bookmark this one to never stop here again and now I know why your reviews are so bad! We wasted 30 minutes in this stop and a stupid argument not needed. Worst Chick-fil-A ever. The store was cleaned also thanks to that gentleman.

You pretty much just have to break all sorts of parking laws to get a spot. The "famous" dip dogs are nasty. Greasy with a bad taste. Then there's those disgusting pink dogs. My spouse actually liked the slaw dogs. However, he's a human hoover who'll eat almost anything. Not a great judge, lol. Either way, unless you're a big fan of pink dogs and grease? Avoid this place.

It's a little off the beaten path, though you can see the sign from the highway if you squint. There's a decent amount of parking. This place has been around a long time (the 1950s, iirc) and you can see the ways it has grown over the years. The dining room, bathrooms, and gift shop are all sort of separate outbuildings. There's a small patio with a couple of metal chairs and tables, which is where we sat and ate; however, seems like call-in and carryout are popular options. You order at the counter in the main building and your order number will be called when your food is ready. The menu consists of dip dogs (very similar to a corn dog, made with Carolina-style "red" hot dogs and slathered in mustard unless otherwise requested), hot dogs, burgers, simple sandwiches, chicken tenders, and ice cream/milkshakes. We all wanted to save room for supper so we kept it pretty light; I had a grilled cheese and fries, parents each had a chili dog and split fries, and husband ordered two dip dogs. This is obviously a family run establishment and we enjoyed seeing all the history through the pictures and tributes to family and community members while we waited. The gentlemen taking our orders were polite and working efficiently. The ladies' restroom was hot but clean when we visited it before getting back on the road. Our food was simple and tasty! The fries were super hot and salted nicely and the grilled cheese was so buttery. My parents enjoyed their hot dogs. I tried a bite of a dip dog just to say that I had; I loved the nice light crisp of the breading (not as cakey as your average corn dog). If I got one I'd get it without mustard and dip in ketchup but that's just because I don't like mustard lol. Overall, a fun, tasty, and interesting stop on a long road trip. Give them a try if you're in the area!

We opted to try the deviled egg appetizer... it was ok, nothing earth shattering to bring you back & a bit of salt helped. We convinced ourselves to try the buffet ~ although we never get our moneys worth out of the single plate we are able to eat. Chicken, mashed potatoes and carrots were great. The ribs were smoked and no sauce ~ maybe there was some to add and I didn't see them. I got shrimp from the cold salad area & it was way too over cooked. Overall, we would go again, but we would try somewhere else ~ looking for the wow factor. The waitress had it though ~ she was great!

My family wanted to try something other than all the franchise restaurants around. It was like the tv show Cheers , everyone knew each other's name. It was very down home with fiddle music playing constantly and an eclectic atmosphere and decor. They have a buffet which was decent enough, the grits could have been cooked another 10 minutes, and some of the bacon and sausage patties were overcooked. However are server Donna was a sweetheart, she made sure we were definitely taken care of. This is definitely where the locals come and they all greeted us as if we were long lost relatives.
