Loving every bite of our pizza
    Jimmy D.

Awesome crust. Plenty of pizza sauce so it wasn't dry. Great toppings. Served up piping hot. We got two pizzas and loved every single bite. Order time to our table was about 12-16 minutes so worth it and not too long. The crust makes the pizza and the fact that they made it with sufficient sauce and cheese meant it was t too doughy. Perfect pizza to hit the spot when we needed it!!

They always get my order right, the staff is always sweet, and the decor is so nostalgic. 10/10 will always recommend Double Dave's on Boonville!! (The pepperoni rolls are top tier!)

    Hair in pizza

Picked up a Large pepperoni pizza ,a chocolate chip dessert,& 2 soda's on 5/5/23 around 5:30pm for my daughter to enjoy at the park, but we threw half of it away after noticing a hair was baked into the pizza dough. Pizza was okay but appetite was ruined after seeing the long auburn hair hanging out

Pizza was dry and had spots with no toppings or cheese at all. Not even enough sauce on it. Then they ran out of tea.

The place is classically decorated and clean. First, to me, the sign of a great restaurant is an owner or manager who comes by the table, to see how their guests are doing. The owner, Tracy, did just that, asking how everything was and visiting for a short time. That was appreciated. For our meal, we had bread sticks with parm, Lasagna, Manicotti and Angel hair pasta. It was a very nice meal with loved ones that we enjoyed very much. Everything was really good and at a fair price. What strikes me the most about Fritella is not just the food, but the family feel. While we were there, a group of ladies showed up for lunch, then proceeded to enjoy a game of bridge with their friends. This is exactly what I think of, when I think of Frittella. Family, Friends and Food in a relaxing and warm atmosphere.

We were seated quickly and our waiter was very attentive, and was patient and understanding as we were still waiting to see if some business colleagues were going to come. The ambiance was upscale with luxurious appointments throughout. We ordered the seafood tower (10/10). It came with argentinian shrimp, east coast oysters, snow crab claws and wild caught tuna tartare. Great start to the meal! I ordered the Old Fashion with Buffalo Trace (9/10) and it was prepared just the way I like it. For my main, I ordered the Braised Short Rib (9/10), which included truffle potato cream and cipollini onions. The short rib was cooked so well and was tender and didn't need a knife to break apart! I finished it with the chocolate dessert (9/10) that was like a molten lava cake. It was delicious and a great dessert to finish the meal. As a bonus, we got to partake in some fine spirits (10/10). They had a healthy selection of fine bourbons and spirits! Great restaurant for a nice upscale dinner or business meal in the College Station area!

I heard someone mentioning that this might be finest restaurant in College Station - but I will let you be the judge of it. Restaurant offers huge wine list, a book style. Keep in mind that looking for the "second cheapest wine" will not work there - price points a randomly distributed, so you really need to look for a decent wine at decent price - our choice Il Borro Pian di Nova at $80 had reasonable QPR. We had a number of appetizers - not bad on average, but non stood out. Arugula and pear salad had strangely off putting flavor. I had pasta bolognese with wagyu beef sauce and it was good, no complaints. Good service, prompt and friendly.

The menu offered a wide variety of choices, making it difficult to decide. After much consideration, we all ordered the Filetto di Bue--a herb-marinated, choice tenderloin filet served atop a portobello mushroom, finished with a rich red wine demi-glace and accompanied by mashed potatoes and the chef's vegetables. I wish I had taken pictures. Not only was it delicious but also artfully plated. For dessert, we shared the strawberry cheesecake and the espresso crème brûlée. While I'm not a huge fan of creme brûlée, this was delicious and I could have happily eaten the whole thing by myself. The ambiance is perfect for a special occasion or a date night yet also family friendly. A couple performed live music during our visit, adding to the atmosphere. At the end of their set, they came by and thanked us for coming. Service was attentive and welcoming throughout the evening. I'd happily return.
