Employee on his knees with a bowl on dirty floor trying to fill it up from a large bag of Parmesan cheese having trouble hitting the bowl another employee just passing by stopped and stuck both his hands in the bag and dumped cheese in the bowl neither had gloves and the second guy for sure had not washed his hands,all the guys in the back were loud and really unprofessional they needed adult supervision. I love the product but the service is HORRIBLE! As one of my family's favorite places we have tried to give them every chance, but they seem to be surprised by lunch every Sunday with no pizza and/or pizza rolls or desert on the lunch buffet. The tea is often spoiled and tables are always dirty. The people hide in the back so it can be a challenge to get someone to take your order. I wish management could get it right. read more

I do not typically waste my time posting a review but this has to be hands down the most awful customer experience that I've ever had concerning delivery. When it comes down to delivery just don't choose them. Two days prior, my husband and I received delivery service to our apartment complex across from A&M. I called today to order and the woman that answered, Christina, was extremely gruff and hurried. It must have been a busy evening, so I shrugged it off. Today's special was two pizzas for 18.99 which is a great deal. She took my card info and order and told me it would be an hour. About thirty minutes later, I received a call from them. I figured it was the pizza arriving early. It wasn't. She actually called to say that the pizza would not be arriving because we were outside of the delivery range. I said what?! We just had pizza delivered the other day ! I also knew that we were only about ten minutes AT BEST away from the restaurant. She goes on to say that we were 17 minutes away and that was way too far to deliver because she only had one driver. Is that my problem? No. That sounds like a huge customer service issue. She still has not refunded the $30 to my card. I will check back in 4 days with them if I do not see it. But guys, the pizza isn't THAT good. I wanted to support local, but honestly that's why people don't support local because of poor business practices, hiring, and execution of things that should be really simple --- like delivery. Can't even believe there are such negative reviews on this restaurant. Went with my boyfriend and used a hook coupon which made the buffet cheaper, AWESOME. Not only this, but my boyfriend informed the cashier that I was a vegetarian/have dietary restrictions and the cashier INSISTED that he have the cooks make a pizza fit to exactly what i can eat with all of my favorite toppings on it. NEVER have i been to a restaurant(even fancy ones haha) that cared so much about this issue and it really made my day. Along with that food was as to be expected from a cheaper buffet, nevertheless still good. Clean establishment, homey feel to it, pleasant work staff. Bad experience. 90% of the tables had dirty dishes on them. Salad bar was dirty and lettuce was wilted. Overall, restaurant was grimy and dirty. 2nd time I tried this location and it was just as bad the first time. read more

Poor poor service! The manager is rude and clearly doesn't like her job. All I asked for is some cucumbers and you thought I asked for the moon in her reaction. Pizza was dry and had spots with no toppings or cheese at all. Not even enough sauce on it. Then they ran out of tea.

First time I have eaten here and it will be my last. Spent 36.00 and it was a waste of money. The pizzas were delivered cold and they looked like they were sitting in the store for a while as they looked old. The stuffed rolls were cold as well. We had to heat everything up prior to eating. You order Pappa Johns and you know your pizza will be fresh and hot. So incredibly disapponinted. read more

Got two dozen pizza rolls last night after the TAMU game and the pizza rolls only had two pepperonis in each roll. Plus the flavor was not like they use to be. My guests and I were very disappointed in our pizza rolls and talking to some relatives of mine they have had the same results. We called in 2 large pizzas from this Doubledave's and were told they would be ready for pick up in 15 minutes. We live about 12 minutes away from this branch. We quickly put 2 small children in their carseats and drove there only to find the pizzas were not ready. I waited in the car with 2 crying babies while my daughter went in to get the pizzas. She waited for 30 minutes! I went inside to see what was going while she waited with the kids. Turns out the pizzas had been sitting under a counter the entire time! The employee did nothing even though I complained. I took the pizzas to the car and decided to call the store back and speak to a manager. He was the rudest, most unprofessional manager. He even hung up on me. I called back and he told me he didn't have time for me because he had 30 other customers in the restaurant. When I left 2 minutes prior there were about 5 people there. He said "heads were going to roll" for this but would not do anything else. I told him he should at least give my daughter a coupon and he refused saying it was too bad and he didn't have time for me! Needless to say, I will never go back there and I will surely let my friends and family know what poor service and uncaring attitude at this store! My low rating is mainly due to poor service at this location. I had a call-in order today. I arrived a few minutes after my pickup time and waited for several minutes for someone to acknowledge me. After a young lady finally did it took her a few minutes to locate my order as they did not put down my name with the order. I paid for my order of 2 dozen pepperoni rolls. She gave me my receipt then walked to the back. She came right back and asked what I had ordered so I told her. She went to the back and I could hear her saying it is 'TWO dozen not one". She then came back and told me my order 'would be right out'. I asked what that meant - she said 5 minutes. No apology. I waited at the front - the manager came up and asked what I was waiting for. I told him rolls & mentioned that I thought they might have forgotten my other dozen. He went to back then came back up to front and no apology nor even a comment made. I kept waiting patiently. Finally 20 minutes after my order was to have been ready my order was ready but once again they had to ask - what kind of sauce did you order? Pepperoni Rolls were HOT and yummy but this location needs to get their act together. A simple apology from any 1 of the 3 employees I interacted with and I would not be writing this review. read more
