A friend ordered chicken shawarma on a pita (a $13 entree) and it was the perfect portion size for me. I asked if they could accommodate my celiac disease and make that dish for me without the pita (so, to be clear, I would be paying the same amount but receiving less food)... and they said no - if I wanted that, then I would have to order the full $23 chicken shawarma entree. Ridiculous. If I could endure the pita touching the meat (and other ingredients) without getting sick, then I would have just ordered it as-is and taken it off the pita... but I cannot do that. And being in the middle of a roadtrip, I didn't want a huge meal that would leave me with a bunch of leftover food. If I offer to pay more for my meal than I am getting, then take it and be happy... but do not tell me I need to order the bigger entree that costs more. Weird. And not to mention, celiac is a recognized disability under the ADA... so maybe try to accommodate that next time. Oasis also has some other strange rules that they enforce.
