Double Jo's is located in an unusual location inside a plaza where u can expect some noises from walking traffic from nearby local businesses. There are plenty of parking. They aren't located in the nicest area of Vallejo so don't expect the most luxurious experience. Note - For some reason they like to collect the money before the massage. You can ask them to work on specific areas and the lady up front will give u a piece of paper to circle and give to the masseuse. I usually tip after. However, despite the exterior of this place... For $20 (cash) it's some of the best foot reflexology I've gotten. I personally prefer the men... if I can remember their names correctly, David, Tom, Tony... all of which never disappointed and had the perfect touch. This place is legitimate! No funny business just a great quality massage. I was able to book a 2 hr appointment the same day only a hour ahead of when I called. I was greeted professionally both on the phone and when I arrived. The business was clean and had no unpleasant odors like some places. My room was clean and warm with relaxing music playing. For the amount you pay of $20 you can't beat a foot reflexology at this price. The first time I cam here I got Joe and he is sooo good. They call it foot reflexology but the massage is a combo from head to toe. Exactly what I need and love! Best of all Joe is so good he focus a lot on my lower back which I have the most pain at. I laid facing down on the table for 15 minutes but no one came to the room; had to call front desk to let them know, hey have you forgotten me? The response: oh she's not there yet? I needed a massage bad, stiffness and just overall body aches. Now, I've been getting massages for awhile for maintenance and a previous injury so I'm pretty particular. Don't let this area scare you off!!! You can find some diamonds in not so nice of places. I made a same day appointment for a 60 minute session and was ten minutes early. The entrance is lacking a bit, it's really small and doesn't do this place justice. I was lead into a private room by the front desk lady who was terrified of my little shitzu (they let me bring her in ) so I was happy! I had this amazing lady whose name was Ivy! She speaks little English but knows what she's doing better than any masseuse I have ever been to! She was so good I extended my massage to 90 minutes! You get an awesome Chinese massage for the price. I had David, who had the perfect pressure. He didn't dig into my muscles and at some points it even felt like a Swedish massage. I initially opted for the 30min foot massage and 30 minute table massage. It was so relaxing and went by quickly so I opted to add on a hot stone massage. I left feeling relaxed and dazed. I my shoulders were very sore the next day, but its because I was waaayyyyy over do for a massage. I plan on going back soon to maintain my wellness. This is a small massage parlor but it's clean. The cheapest but most effective way to get the best bang for your buck is to try the 1 hour foot massage. They will massage you fully clothed but you will get a full body massage this way. I have tried different masseuse. They are all good. They do deep massage. Let them know if you cannot tolerate the intensity of massage. I prefer deep massage that's why I like the masseuse at Double Jo. I give a tip to the masseuse afterwards. read more

Before tonight I really had nothing really negative to say about this place...But...I believe the masseuse that I had tonight was new. She was massaging my back really fast where I had to ask her to slow down twice. She would massage me and then pat my back (kinda hard I might add) as if she was done. I could not really relax at all. I've had several massages in my life but I have NEVER had a massage where they pretty much massage your breasts??? Everything except touching the nipple??? I felt like she was trying to touch my breasts and hide behind it being part of the massage. It made me feel uncomfortable. I love this place actually but this lady....I don't know....I normally tip pretty decently but tonight I just wanted out. I may have to find a new massage place. I really LOVE that they have a sign saying they are a legit massage and don't do "other" services. That helped me relax enormously, with that worry out of the way. 8/2015 Both my husband and I have been going to Double Jo Massage since they opened several year ago. We started with 1 hour massages and quickly added the 30 min foot massage. The price was so reasonable, that 2-3 times a month, we get a 30 minute foot massage followed by a 90 min full body massage. After trying a couple different therapist, we each found the therapist that work for us, we now request them each time. Ivy is very strong and can very quickly identify the trouble areas and work them out. Double Jo's rotates therapists from China every 6 months to 1 year because of this, some of the therapist speak very little english. Carmen, the office manager, can assist in identifying a therapist who will meet your massage type preference and confort level. Recommend trying a couple different therapists to find the one that works best for you and stick with that person to further develop a rapport 12/15/2016 Update Double Jo continues to be one of the best massage values for the money. I have gone here for a couple of years mostly for full body and they do a great job, however today I took my daughter for the 20.00 foot reflexology. We had to wait a few minutes in the room where they do this with everyone and to my shock a man got up from his massage and they took the towels off his head, feet and bare back and they folded them up and put them right on the foot stool as my daughter walked over to the same spot they started to put the same dirty towels on her, I SAID OH NO you are not using dirty towels they were so confused and finally went and got them. When it was my turn I said get me clean towels. So half way through mine I saw the other two people get up to leave and they did the same thing folded up the dirty towels and started to use them on the next couple until I said something. So just imagine I am sure they don't change the sheets for the full body massages. The only reason I didn't walk out was it was my daughters birthday and I wanted her to have a massage and we were on a time schedule. The health department needs to investigate, it's bad enough they leave the same blanket on the chairs and beds but towels and most likely sheets gross. read more
