New to the area. Trying out all the massage places since that's my self care. I'm picky. I don't like the digging of fingers and elbows in my back. I also don't like inexperienced masseuses where all they do is rub oil on you. I read all the reviews before going in. The woman at the front desk wasn't rude (as commented), she just gets the job done. She comes across dry and nonchalant. She was friendly enough. Tom was my masseuse and I read a recent comment saying he was good. I didn't know it was "Tom" until afterwards. Tom was amazing, as the prior review said. Strong pressure, used his muscle strength, but didn't rub to the point that it burned my skin. And when I told him I wanted medium pressure, he didn't use his elbows or fingers to drill into me. Some people like that. So if you'd like that deep pressure, I'm pretty sure he can do it. But for me, the Swedish style with attention to my muscles was awesome. I'll definitely be back. read more

I don't think I can convey how much I disliked this experience. When I made my appointment, I specified I wanted a specific area only (shoulders and neck) in the notes section, I reiterated to the front desk before going back, and then again to the person who did my massage. After waiting about 10 minutes (they had a clock in the room) the person started my massage, they were rough and massaged my lower back (which is extremely sensitive due to chronic pain), I decided to wait as maybe that was just their beginning "warm up" to massage my upper back/shoulders. They came back to my lower back, and I said I do not want my lower back done, they said "okay" yet finished what they were doing which was very painful. Also, several times during the massage they pressed very hard directly on my spine. I have had over 30 massages at different places and never once experienced this. When they finished, I looked at the clock and it was only 25 minutes max, closer to 20. I paid before my massage (their order) for 30 minutes and tipped over 20%. I am leaving out many other things as I am trying to not be rude, but this all ended with me crying because I was in more pain after and also felt violated in a way as I was not listened to even after saying what I wanted/didn't want four times. I will never go here again and if you have any issues with your body (skeletal or muscular) I don't recommend you do either as it will most likely exacerbate them. read more

You prepay (cash or debit/credit for an extra fee), directed to the massage bed which is separated by a floor to ceiling cloth curtain. At the register there is a sign for us patrons that state that a $5 tip is for a massage that was less than expected, $10 tip is for a massage that you are happy with and $10+ is the appropriate tip for a full body massage and/or a "heavenly" foot massage. It's kinda sad, but I think that they are making the workers do massages for tip money *yikes* The massage is lack luster. Not at all what I was expected, but then again... I was surprised that they were even open. Foot reflexology is $25 (+tip). They still put your feet in luke warm water, but that's where the familiar experience ends. The foot reflexology was mediocre, the face arms and hand massage was missing all together. Maybe I just had a lame massage, but when it was over, I felt the same as when I walked in. Came here with my mom as walk-in. The gentleman at the counter took forever to determine if we could be taken or not. The waiting/lobby area was tiny. Finally he tells us he has room for us in 20 minutes so we decide to go to the store next door to kill time. When we return the waiting room is packed and no seating. He has us sign in (again a lot lengthier of a process than expected), then asks for payment (prior to service which I am not used to). I paid $40 cash for 2 foot reflexology massages (which includes some back, shoulder, face, arm work) They charge more if you use card. We finally get taken back to the community massage area and put on our beds and there are 2 other people currently in session. So we have to wait again because I guess there are only 2 masseuses (and maybe one trainee). We wait about 10-15min until we are finally tended to. My mom was moved to one of the beds that previous customer was on and I noticed they didn't even change the bed lining in between customers. The room itself is small and was not a fan of configuration, ambiance, and way too lit. Not dim and serene. Especially with chatter between employees. The massage was rough on me because they start with hard pressure and didn't ask what I wanted. I had to stop her after a few minutes to ask for less pressure which she didn't understand so I asked for her to go softer which she finally understood. My mom enjoyed it though. I was referred to this place by another location that was booked. Person at the front was not as friendly as I would think you would be. Especially when this is my first time coming. I was booked for a 2 hr massage. The price was really good. The person was on time, but she immediately started to massage me. She did not make sure my head was adjusted correctly or did not ask if I wanted it to be gent, medium-hard of just hard. She started off extremely hard. I had to stop her about 7 times to lighten up and the other times she noticed me moving aways or saying ouch. Rocks we're extremely hot, so much so she could not touch them, yet she attempted to put them in my hand. I'm usually asked is this okay, but nothing. Normally when done fhs person often knocks on the door and checks on you and show you the way out and sometimes brings you something to drink. She did nothing. I had find her to show me the way go the restroom, which way to exit and although I probably should not have gave a much, I still gave her a nice tip. I left in as much pain as I started with, but now I was *bruised.* Yeah, bruised. So I couldn't even rub my own shoulder. Although they have signs posted about having it be a relaxing environment they can't even adhere to their own posted standards. My masseuse literally just gently petted my back up and down and up and down and up and down for a full 60 minutes. Never touched my arms, legs, feet, shoulders or neck. NOTHING else, just my back...... I don't know what time it is or how long it has been so I am holding onto hope that she is going to move to another region of my body and she never does. Just blots me with a hot towel and says "ok, all done." I wanted to cry. I needed that massage so badly and she just has my nerves all worked up now. I go back out to the lady who scheduled me and confirmed with her I paid for full body and I let her know that's not what I got and that she didn't do anything but pet my back. She just tells me "you are different" and I "should have told her". NO.....I booked it with YOU. I paid for FULL BODY. There is no explanation needed. Questionable behavior: There is a sign saying that they are all certified massage therapists, so please don't ask for a happy ending. In my experience, therapists who do NOT offer happy endings keep the term as far from their business as possible. I was required to pay FIRST before seeing the "therapist." No intake interview to ask about health history or physical limitations. No one even asked me where to focus, so I guess everyone gets the same cookie-cutter routine. I found it really WEIRD when the "therapist" straddled my thighs to work on my back. She used a thrusting movement that caused her hips to shove forcefully against my buttocks in a sort of burlesque parody of sex. Seriously! A young man could absolutely mistake this move for being hit on. That's what you'll feel when you leave this place. There are private rooms but there were five of us and we ended up in the communal room for reflexology massage. I didn't care. Don't expect to be pampered here because you certainly get what you pay for. Customer service is lacking and the location isn't in the best part of Vallejo. You are put in a communal room where other people are also receiving massages, so there's not very much privacy or much of a relaxing ambiance. But for $20, the massages are decent.
