This past Friday, I contacted Ricky (solely based upon yelp reviews) in the morning to see if I could schedule a same day appointment. I was able to text him (which was great) because skillful massage therapists are always busy working. So, it can be challenging to get an answer immediately. I understand this dilemma well. Thankfully, Ricky had something at 630pm. I scheduled a 30 mins half table session. Let me tell you, in less than 2 minutes, he found the spot that was aggravated - I immediately asked for an hour. He obliged as he didn't have an appointment right after me. Thank goodness!!! He did a deep tissue massage and my muscles were sore thereafter. However, it was definitely what I needed - skilled and focused attention. I will definitely return over and over again! Again, I train hard and work full-time. When I dialed the number to inquire about prices, the person on the other end insisted I had to book an appointment for a price quote. Very strange. The knots in my neck encouraged me to even stop by in person. While in person I did get a price quote, but I was told I couldn't make an appointment in person and I had to call. Huh? Totally not worth the inconvenience. I'll take my coins elsewhere.

I was about to use the toilet but saw that there was a wad of crumpled toilet paper stuck inside the cardboard of the toilet paper roll (it wasn't on any toilet paper roll holder), so I didn't touch the toilet paper. I was expecting a full-body Thai massage but it was an utterly incomplete one. It certainly wasn't a "Thai" massage at all. For the first 30 minutes, she only focused on my back, not even massaging it but just pressing points that were painful on my bones. I had to ask her when she'd actually start massaging and this annoyed her. I've had a lot of Thai massgaes and clearly, this one wasn't even close to a real Thai massage. She barely worked on my arms and legs. And the way she maneuvered my head as well as my body (to supposedly "stretch" me) was done in an incorrect way that it was uncomfortable - I was quietly scared I might get an injury. I felt duped and was disappointed upon realizing that I overpaid for something that was totally bogus.

To say I'm being careful is an understatement. I felt 100% safe with Cyndi. She takes this pandemic very seriously and keeping everyone safe is her priority. She works in a private space with a private bathroom. Everything is clean and sanitized. Everyone is required to wear a mask. She just started taking clients again on September 1st so I feel very lucky that I was able to get an appointment so quickly.
