100 dollars for a fundraiser spent. Got 10 snack sized bags of popcorn. No wonder why 50% of the money goes to the fundraiser.. You're selling pennies worth of popcorn for 100000% markup. You're teaching children poor business procedures.. I'd have rather given 100 dollars to the school vs this.. read more

Double Good - This is not the size of a 10 dollar bag of popcorn. - Popcorn Shops Near Me - Burr Ridge, Illinois

$14 a bag + $8 shipping for a tiny bag of popcorn. You are better off donating to the cause directly, wish I had

40$ for 7 ounces of popcorn. When we placed the order it was only 31$, but then they tack on another 7 for shipping and 2 for taxes. They claim that half the money goes to the charity but that is only half of the 31 original charge. You are better off sending the 15$ directly to the charity and going to the store and buying the popcorn. HUGE rip off. read more

Ordered three weeks ago for overpriced popcorn and they haven't even shipped! Tried contacting them....they have a bot, or FAQ page and they only send out NO REPLY emails....hmmmm wonder why. Now I know why. Purchased to help a friends son out for a school fundraiser....NEVER AGAIN. read more

We ordered popcorn for my Neice fundraiser and received, som chips from Walmart, and Cheetos. It was not what we ordered,we ordered a 165.00 worth now there not returning my money read more

Zero stars! This is an INSULT! Shame on this company for marketing and selling these small bags of popcorn for $10+! I can't believe this is even legal. Never again and I want to know how to get a refund. read more

I ordered the popcorn, their caramel and cheddar mix, for a fundraiser for my nephew out in California that happens to play football in a little league deal. I didn't expect much and I ordered three or four bags of the same thing as I didn't get off into particular flavors too much, at least for me it wasn't a big deal. The popcorn was pretty good, for bag popcorn, to my amazement. It wasn't super sweet and caramelized and old tasting like normal. Hell, and got to me quick...as it should since I live in the Chicago market LOL. I felt like I had to look for that particular mix because they offer these different deals and flavor combinations and it was a little complicated for a minute but overall the experience was cool. read more

I purchased a 3 pack in order to contribute to a fundraiser. I was very disappointed to see artificial ingredients in the " Butter Believe It" and "My Main Cheese" flavors. I will throw those away. The plain popcorn seems ok. read more

I was so embarrassed when the popcorn arrived that I convinced my family and friends to purchase for my grandson's fundraiser. The bags were filled to about the size of a quart of paint, just for comparison. The price does not, even on fundraiser levels, reflect the product value. The children do not even have an idea of what they are selling, and have no concept of fundraising efforts. But the web site does show how much each child is selling, like it is a competition, and shames the family into feeling like they need to sell more to keep of with the other children. This was upsetting to my grandson that he was not in first place. And each order is charged shipping, which was the cost of a bag of popcorn itself. I understand the concept of a fundraiser, but I would never support this fundraiser again. read more

So far, I've only had the Butter Believe It! flavor. It was very good, and the Butter flavor was just right! The ONLY issue that I have is the size of the bag. I understand that this popcorn is used by many for fundraising however, the size of the bag and price, don't match. Other than that, I loved it! read more

My wife just received her order today and it is the most underwhelming fundraising product we have ever purchased. $12 per tiny bag, with half of that going to the organization that is doing the fundraising. So, $6 for a measly bag of air and popcorn is a scam. Corner store gas stations have cheaper priced popcorn bags than this company, and we all know we pay premium prices at gas stations. On top of it all, shipping was another chunk of change added to the total. First and last time we buy this product. read more

This has to be the scam of the century. Spent $30 on two bags of popcorn that are single serve size. I would have felt more comfortable just giving the money to the fundraiser than giving Double Good a penny of my money. I can't believe schools use this company to raise money. read more

The value is non-existent. If you want bang for your buck, go literally anywhere else. As for taste? Good, but not great. They have very similar flavors to a place I used to go to in Naperville, but Double Good's popcorn isn't as good. Maybe 2/3's as good? The sizes are tiny, the prices are high, and the product is... ok. If this place opened a retail location and stopped hiding in a warehouse, maybe they would be more connected to their market? read more

More like double bypass. That's exactly what's going to happen if you keep eating trash. Just look at the list of forbidden ingredients. Plus, it's expensive, and not even organic! You pay all that money for gourmet GMO kernels and toxic chemicals and food coloring such as yellow 6, yellow 5, red 40, which are made from petroleum and cause cancer, aggressions, A.D.D., A.D.H.D, immune disorders and allergic reactions. There should be a warning label on the back of the packaging and let me not fail to mention all the unnecessary sugars and sodium. A whopping 1030mg in a 2.36 oz bag. And why are we still using corn syrup, MSG and "natural flavors." Why are companies trying to kill us? I don't get it. They're rubbing shoulders with Big Pharma. Some of those synthetic dyes are banned in Europe. The FDA need to do a better job and the US is more concerned about profits. That's why they won't change gun laws. Perhaps junk food is the cause of so much mental illness and violence. I just wanted to support my cousin's fundraiser, but it was a complete waste, since I have to throw away most of the content or I'll get sick. Cavities, diabetes, high blood pressure, food cravings, aging, acne, brain fog, depression, and weight gain are the reasons why we should stay away from stuff like this. And who makes salt and pepper popcorn. It was strong in my mouth and nose, but one of the cleaner products. I believe they have 3 brands that's ok to eat, the rest in death in a small bag. Double good, why are you in the fundraising business? Please change your list of ingredients. Are you giving back to the community? Are you donating to organizations? I'd like to know if you're double good or if this is the McDonalds of popcorn. You've been warned. read more

Double Good - Jalapeño - muy malo - Popcorn Shops Near Me - Burr Ridge, Illinois

A great fundraiser and super easy! No door-to-door hounding anyone to order; just open up your pop up store and share the link on your friend's list. That's it! Your organization gets 50% of the profits and they keep the rest in addition they give a portion to charities! And might I add the cheesy peasy flavor is THEE BEST ONE! read more

Extremely overpriced for a school fundraiser. I don't see how such excessive price helps the kids that are the subject of school's efforts. The split doesn't seem appropriate. We should have just given a donation rather than supporting this extravagant bag of popcorn. read more

I am beyond pissed off! How can you charge family size bag prices for personal size bags of popcorn?! You will never get my business ever again and I will be sure to warn others about how you rip people off who only want to help the people doing the fundraising! read more

Ordered $100 worth of various flavors. This is the third time I've ordered and probably the last. I gave them another chance after the long delivery time issues during the pandemic. The biggest problem was freshness. I decided to try several flavors. Previously I only ordered cheese caramel but it was fresher last time. The queso was decent. The rest were hard to chew and hard to chew popcorn usually means it's stale. The chocolate had very little chocolate; the butter was just plain without detectable butter anywhere; and the chi town flavors was also hard and stale. I hope they establish some quality control mechanisms to deliver a fresh product. read more

doublegood has no contact number and the customer support link is poor. If your package doesn't show up you're out of popcorn and money. To each his own. read more

popcorn is overpriced and I get it's for a fundraiser but then don't charge shipping! I was charged $11 in shipping and it's a fundraiser so isn't there exemptions? idk I wouldn't use them for a fundraiser read more

My order arrived damaged. I was going to let it go because the purchase was for a good cause. Yet I did want to at least let them know about things they should consider when shipping. All I did was send them a picture of a broken container and the same day they shipped out a replacement. Which was great because this popcorn is really delicious. Thanks Double Good! read more

Double Good - three jars of popcorn on a table - Popcorn Shops Near Me - Burr Ridge, Illinois

Mediocre at best (I tried butter and white cheddar flavors) even if NOT compared to freshly-made stuff. Unbelievably overpriced - 7.3 oz package can be between $9 and $12! Total rip-off. On top of that, they have school kids sell it for their school fundraiser and the DoubleGood gives them...50%. What a business! read more

Purchased some through a fundraiser and was blown away by the speed of delivery and excellent taste! Highly recommend.

Double good popcorn is so addictive and so good. It's also nice that 50 percent of the price goes towards fundraisers and nonprofits. BUT the popcorn bags are super small and extremely overpriced. I guess that's how most fundraiser items are anyway so I just buy them cause I love supporting a good cause. They also make you pay for shipping and it can take almost a month to get the popcorn. read more

I could not believe my eyes when I opened my delivery of Double Good Popcorn today. When I was ordering the popcorn for my son's 5th grade graduation fundraiser, the website specifically stated that the bags contain approximately "5 Cups" of popcorn. I did not bother to do any further investigations when purchasing as I thought I was getting that for every bag I ordered. I paid $87 for 6 bags of popcorn. Most of the bags I received have "approximately" 2 cups of popcorn, not the 6 they advertise on the website. I am shocked and appalled that a company would take advantage of families or anybody that is donating for a cause. $12-14 for a bag of popcorn is absurd, but we figured, "well, at least $6-7 is going to the school." I will never be buying from Double Good again and I will donate directly to the school instead and I will be writing to the school so they never use this company again. read more

Very expensive for mediocre popcorn. We purchased through a fundraiser through my son's school. I feel like we all would have been better served just donating the money so the school could keep all of it. read more

I LOVE this popcorn!!! It's pretty expensive, but it's GOOD!!! I've tried most of them but my favorite is Easy Peasy Carmel Cheesey and Queso!!! If you haven't already, you need to try it, I'm sure you won't regret it. read more

My daughter did a fundraiser around Christmas for an organization she's apart of. She was a little leery about asking people because it was around the holidays. Several people supported her including myself. Yes they were a little pricey but doable. But when I say this one of the Best popcorns I have ever had, I mean it! Fresh! Fresh! Fresh! even after 4 days of being opened & sealed with a bag clip. The flavors were OFF THE CHAIN! In this day and age I don't expect to get a full bag of ANYTHING so I can't really count that against the company. (It would've been nice to get a full bag. That really would have set them apart from everyone else.) I will be ordering more for myself. read more

Delicious. Tried the salt and pepper, butter, and white cheddar. Great portions and very filling.

I love double good popcorn thank you so much I must admit it's really good growing up in Gary Indiana. We will always go over to garrets. I Gotta say this is better than garrets. I order some popcorn the other day, and I did not receive it the people a double cup was very nice to replace it, I spent $143 and I was thankful that I was able to replace it and that he was very nice on the phone. Every time I call them I have a great customer service. The only thing I will say about double good they have this flavor of popcorn that they don't have anymore when you start eating popcorn some of them are seasonal flavors so I have to wait to come back around, but thank you so much for handling my situation. read more

I purchased popcorn from Double Good for a charity event my niece was having. The popcorn prices range from $11.00 to $13.00. Double Good claims that half the money goes to the charity and they keep the other half for the popcorn. The bags are less than 2 ounce bags which sell in my neighborhood for $2:00 or less. I feel this company is taking advantage. I will not support this company again. I will just donate money in the future. Shame on them for ripping people off. . read more

Popcorn was a total waste of money. We received 4 tiny sacks of popcorn for $62! This was the worst use of money we have ever incurred. we should have made a donation to the cause and forgotten the product. Please learn from our mistakes. The popcorn received might be worth 2 microwave popcorn packages. Very and highly disappointing and we thought popcorn at the theater is expensive. These 4 tiny 1.44 oz bags makes the theater popcorn look cheap! read more

My husband's boss was selling this popcorn to raise money for a charity his fraternity supports so we happily bought two bags, which we assumed were going to at least be as large as a normal bag of Lays. But we got the product and it's a small bag and they want like $15 a bag. Yeah, no, that is ridiculous. The worst part is it wasn't that good. Boom Chicka Pop is better, it's only $4 or so. read more

really small bag portrayed as a big bag online. very misleading. never going to purchase again

Finally bought a fundraiser food that was worthy of more than the contribution. Very tasty, unusual combinations. Delicious

They take your money and never your product. This company is a rip-off. I never received my product. Spent over $100.00 dollars and never received anything. read more

Big rip off. I ordered 3 bags for a school fundraiser and I never received my order. They sent a message saying it was delivered, but wasn't. I tracked UPS by number.
