I don't mind fundraisers and helping people out but this is an absolute ripoff. $11 a bag and I have to pay for shipping. The only reason I didn't give it one star is because it is a good product. But 1.44 ounces for $11? I will just give the fundraisers my money instead of EVER buying anything from Double Good. Very upsetting. read more

Double Good - Popcorn - Popcorn Shops Near Me - Burr Ridge, Illinois

I paid $29.45 for two medium sized bags of cheddar popcorn. They say my niece got $12.00, 1/2 of the sale price. The shipping was $5.45. Therefore, the popcorn cost $6.00 a bag. Very expensive. If it wasn't for my niece, I would never do this. They had a minimum purchase of $22.00. I had no choice but to spend almost $30. I would rather hand my niece $10.00 for a donation. read more

Doublegood is a legit business. They do take a lot of time for shipping, and they are very expensiv. However, the bags were reasonably sized and they are well quality. read more

Fundraising wise, they seem to be good. When it comes to order delivery and issues I would say they need to go with someone other than fedex in our area at least. Our tracking says delivered, but it was never delivered to our home and trying to contact someone at DoubleGood about it has been not been great. I've called during their business hours, left messages, their bot chat was no help, their ticketing system on the chat has not been helpful. I just want my order and customer service wise is disappointing. read more

These bags are alittle larger than an individual size bag. I spent almost $80 for 5 tiny bags that came in a tiny box. I would imagine it doesn't cost Double Good more than $1-$2 a bag and they get a 50 percent profit at over a cost of $13 a bag-. I ordered this to help a friend with her children's school as I thought this donation would help. I would have preferred to have just taken the money and directly given it to the school seeing that Double Good sends to you tiny bags of popcorn and charges $13 a bag. It's the advertising that's misleading. It is presented as a large bag. I didn't need the popcorn but it feels like you are being taken advantage of. I would never go through this organization again or support them. I would only support the schools directly. In my opinion, this is an entrepreneur who was trying to figure out how to build a very successful business and have an incredible profit margin for himself under the disguise of fundraisers. I would think that a 50 percent profit for the owner of this business is a much higher profit margin than a regular popcorn manufacturer that sells to supermarkets and they sell bags 3-4x the size for less than half the price. When people do donations, they expect that most of the profits should go to the organization. read more

the popcorn is good, but the fundraiser was a rip off, i paid $150 for 12 bags, expecting full size bags of popcorn, and when they arrived they where the small gas station sized bags. If i had went to Jewel and spent $150 on popcorn id have popcorn for a month, this will be gone in a week. I know the price of popcorn kernels, there like 5 cents of kernels in these bags sure the flavoring costs but really? This isn't really a fundraiser, it is a company selling popcorn and charging double for their normal product, the company isn't charitable at ALL. Also the flavor variety kind of sucks, there's 4/5 varieties of caramel almost half of the flavors are sweet, and then you get some plain ass flavors like salt and pepper and butter. I'm glad to help out the school that i supported, but i would have just donated $150 to them rather then have this scammy company be the middle man in a crappy popcorn scheme. read more

Overpriced popcorn that's subpar. Lots of kernels left to break your teeth. Bags are snack size.

I was very disappointed that your product contains Monosodium glutamate ( MSG). Delivered today. Unable to even try. I look at it as $24 spent for 1 small bag of popcorn BUT at least a good cause for Delray Rocks Youth Cheer! read more

This company is ripping off kids and consumers. The bags are tiny for a premium price. Her I thought I was helping my Neice make it to camp but I am supporting a rip off business!! read more

Great popcorn. I love this company. There popcorn is always so fresh as taste so delicious.

Too salty! most flavors are way to salty to enjoy (and I usually will add salt to most everything) too bad because we purchased 20 bags!

I have not received my order. I ordered almost a month ago and I do not even have a tracking number yet. I would just like the popcorn or my money back. Order number is MR2412100014165-7289C read more

If only there was a 0 star rating This product is what gives fundraising projects a bad name I will never purchase from this company again for any reason This purchase was for my grandsons baseball team and I do not care that supposedly 50% went back to them Even if this is accurate the product is still 100% overpriced for what you get I would rather give the kids a donation than think that by purchasing this ridiculously overpriced product you are doing something good On top of the overpriced product there is expensive shipping to get the product to you The owners of this company should be locked up in the cell next to the Illinois Governor's cell in Joliet Avoid this company or face the same disappointment as many have read more

This company is a small company that I imagine is doing the best they can, but year after year we order around the beginning of December (for Xmas) and rarely do they fulfill my order on time. The lack of communication, the use of bots instead of real people shows they do not have the infrastructure to sustain their business from a customer service standpoint. I have never done a fundraiser but my wife and I love their popcorn. When we get it, it is amazing. That's why we come back. I wish they would fix their years long epidemic of shipping and order fulfillment whoas. If they could sustain an excellence driven customer service model when it comes to fulfilling orders, it would be an easy 5 stars for me. As this the 3rd or 4th time I did not receive my order by Xmas (it still hasn't even been fulfilled), I am sorry to have to give you all a 1 star. I am so disappointed. Why, can't their popcorn be made in surplus ahead of time around the holidays to be shipped out when it is placed? They would make more money and their orders would ship so much faster. It's supply and demand. read more

Still waiting for my popcorn that I ordered mid May 2025. I reached out and my order was lost they said they'd send a replacement it never happened reached out again and it seems fedex is delivering tomorrow, but fedex delivered to Mail Innovations the first time and Mail innovations/USPS claims they are still waiting for the package. who knows if I'll get the package this time around. It's been over 2 months. read more

My great grandson was having a fundraiser. I was excited that it was for my favorite snack, popcorn. A tiny box was shipped to my address which contained the popcorn. When I finally opened it I was appalled by the size of the bags. I've always tried to support my grandkids fundraisers but this is ridiculously small in size. I understand it's for a good cause and the taste of the popcorn was quite good. I will not contribute to this fundraiser anymore. The company must be doing quite well in their profits. read more

I ordered the 3 bag set (caramel, butter and white cheddar) for my nieces fundraiser. What a disappointment and shock when it arrived! The butter and cheddar bags were small, filled with air and STALE! The caramel was also not fresh. $42.00 w/shipping is an absolute ripoff! I will never again participate in this company fundraiser read more

I paid 40 dollars for terrible popcorn that looks like it could be worth 3 dollars. What the heck. Better off buying it from the grocery stores and jack up the prices and say it's for your fund raiser!!!! read more

OH MY!!!!!!!! TOTAL RIP OFF. The bags are the size of a bag of $2.oo of chips. i purchased 3 for $31.00. i couldn't believe i paid that much for a cup of popcorn along with shipping. i know it's a fund raiser, taste great and I support fundraisers. However, l have never ever seen such a BLATANT RIP OFF. Costco has the giant of the same brand for $5 a bag that has 5 or 6 cups of popcorn. i know it was a fund raiser. My suggestion...just donate money to the fundraiser. RIP OFF!!! RIP OFF!!! LOOK BELOW HOW MANY BAGS YOU GET WITH OTHER COMPANIES THAT TASTE GREAT. read more

Double Good - $23 DOLLARS - Popcorn Shops Near Me - Burr Ridge, Illinois

RIP OFF!!!! I have purchased it in the past and was very happy. However, I received my order today (helping my granddaughters HS cheer team) extremely disappointed as the bags are the size of a single serving snack chip bag. To pay 50+ dollars for this is dishonest and robbery! I will never again support any group doing business with this company. I will gladly donate my money directly to the organization and warn them of this fraudulent company. Selling tiny bags of overpriced popcorn! Shame on them. Popcorn os good but definitely not worth the cost they charge for a snack size bag! read more

***** This company is a scam!***** My daughter and her group raised thousands of dollars in a couple of weeks, and this company never paid out a dime. Please beware, especially if you're raising money for a trip. Check out the BBB reviews and Yelp. Don't let these google reviews fool you. Companies get employees, family members, or anyone to create false 5-star reviews. Reach out owner and let's talk about it! I will report you! read more

The popcorn is just ok, I've had way cheaper popcorn that tastes the same, I couldn't buy 1 bag get this the limit is 22.00 & if you want to donate you can only pay 24.00 that's the start amount, the economy is already bad I'm sure after all these guidelines some people just don't buy it & it's crazy seeing so many people fundraising with them. They deliver fast though read more

The popcorn was securely packaged and tastes great. The caramel is my favorite and I mixed the butter w/cheddar, which is delicious. I'm so grateful to have been able to support; supporting a good cause, to me, is all about the beautiful feeling in knowing you helped and not about what you get in return or how much of what you get in return; what you receive, if anything, is just a small token of appreciation back to you for having a kind heart and being supportive. read more

I have purchased several times thru fundraisers, excellent popcorn, with speedy delivery time. Awesome company, with excellent products. I recommend this is company and it products to pop corn lovers and fundraising opportunity. read more

I totally agree with other one star reviews. Even if 50% went toward a good cause, the popcorn was mediocre & didn't taste very fresh, waaay overpriced for even half the cost, plus high cost of shipping & arrival wasn't even quick. I have no idea how they get 5 cups out of each small bag! Like others said, I would've rather donated the whole amount to the cause. Very disappointed. read more

Do not ever give any money for this product it's better to give the money to the person who needs it for the fundraiser. My wife got three tiny bags of popcorn and paid $62 for them. What an extreme rip off I am so mad I could just go and smash the windows out of the building who ripped everybody off this product and I'm not a violent person. In these times with high inflation, they should be ashamed to do this to people. I only gave it a one star I wish I could go lower. read more

My daughter was asked to participate in her high school cheer fundraiser so I bought more bags of Double Good popcorn than I should of to help the team. I ordered 6 bags of my Main Cheese, 1 bag of white Cheddar, 4 bags of Sweetie you salty and one bag of Caramel-diem. Each flavor was good. I really appreciate that most of the popped kernels are big (they must limit the amount of broken pieces) which I prefer. All the flavors we bought were tasty. The two reasons I did not score them higher was they were slow shipping the popcorn and the bags were incredibly small. I am glad to donate to good causes and glad that there are organizations like Double Good Popcorn out there to help these organizations raise money to help fund their programs and activities. read more

My friend was using this place to fundraiser for her school, so I bought to support. The order came weeks later and it wasn't even the correct order. I checked my email to see if I was notified about items not being available and I did NOT receive anything. I contacted them for a refund, they said they they couldn't do that. I said then can you send me my correct order and I'm still going back and forth with them to see if they're going to send me my correct order. My next step is reporting them to the BBB. I already looked it up as well and it turns out they have several complaints against them with the BBB. read more

$28 and change. $~6 to shipping, leaving ~11.50 for actual fundraiser and meanwhile the popcorn bags are 1.41 oz, taste is the average and took a month to arrive. I'd rather the full amount of money have been completely towards the kids and I received nothing in return. read more

Low key the best popcorn I've ever had. My favorite was "in queso fire." Definitely expensive, I purchased through a fundraiser and would do it all over again... contemplating on buying just because. read more

This was the worst ever, I spent $40 on popcorn to only receive a damaged box with 3 bags of busted popcorn all inside of it. I just really wasted my money dealing with this company. I can't eat the opened ruined popcorn that looks like a rodent tried to get in it. And I can't even get a refund. If you want to do fundraisers, please do not use them. It's a rip off! I purchased 4 bags of Double Good popcorn (2 for myself and 2 for my mom) to help my younger cousin fund raise. My 2 bags cost $28.45 and my mom paid $32.45 for her 2 bags. I would have been okay if the size of the bags were similar to the "family size" bag of popcorn that they sell in local grocery stores (which are sometimes over $5)...smh. Never again! read more

DOUBLE GOOD MISTREATMENT OF BLACK EMPLOYEES. My name is Robert M. I worked for the company in Burr Ridge for 3-4 months and right before it was time to hire me on, they came up with a bogus reason to get rid of me. But that is what it is! Nevertheless, if they were so caring and about fund raising then why would they not respond to me when I tried to retrieve my items, I left in the locker which were $150 sketcher steel toe boots that I would need for my next place of employment and my cooler bag for which I paid $50 for. The company as whole seems to be one that does not care for their employees specifically the ones of color. I been trying to reach them for over a month and just get the run around from everyone. I would not encourage anyone to support a place like this and I am entitled to be compensated for the items I purchased in order to be employed there that were left in a locker and they refuse to return. I even reached out to corporate who did call me back and said the company would contact me the next business day but to no avail. read more
