This shop is super cute and quaint. ONLY 4 people allowed in at a time. GO and you'll see why. Its like a galley. The young man working there is super nice and patient. Nice variety of old school candies and Decent freshly popped popcorn.

Popcorn shop is a must stop while in town. A line out the door, but worth the wait. Always cute and comfy feel while you are there. Popcorn is great service is too.

Happy nostalgia embodied! Come here to put a smile on your face. It has barely changed at all since I was a small child. The popcorn is simple and delicious--no fancy flavors or crazy chemicals. They also have charming candy to pick by the piece. This store is tiny, but that is part of the appeal. Where else can you shop that is literally an alley with a roof on it? So cute!

It's a fun little (very little) shop. It's an alley turned into a popcorn and candy shop, very Harry Potteresque! You can fill a bag full of various candies, get bags of popcorn for cheap, it's a fun shop for kids of all ages!

The cutest little thing! Pay with cash or credit now. Give your kids $5-10 and support this local gem! The popcorn is a must! Buy a big bag and get home to chow it

We were in Wheaton recently for an event & had to stop at the Little Popcorn Store! The line was out the door, but it was well worth the wait!

Wish there were more nostalgic candy offerings. At least I was able to score some Pop Rocks. Cute place!

A CANDY SHOP IN AN ALLEY?! YES! It sounds so Harry Potter-esque. But seriously. This candy shop/popcorn store was built in an alley with a red door and some really cool not-so-see-through-but-kinda ceiling tiles. If you didn't know about this place, you'd probably walk past the red door without thinking twice about it. And even though I had been told about this place, I STILL managed to walk past it! It really is an alley. Shelves of classic candies packed with childhood memories line one brick wall, while there is enough space for one or two people to walk by it. You can grab a little white paper bag and stuff it with as much candy as you want. And the prices!? Oh, my gosh. CHEAP. Especially for an independent candy shop in Wheaton. The popcorn bags were a steal compared to movie theaters. The candy itself was cheaper than anything you'd find in the checkout aisle or bulk candy stores. It made it kind of hard not to spend money here. And I think I have another cavity now. The Little Popcorn Store really is a little delight. Oh, so delightful.

Popcorn there only 1 flavor but they have a lot of different candy options to make up for that

Been coming here since I've been a kid. Pretty cool place, old wheaton energy right here. Good cheap candy, makes you feel like a kid again.

Now onto the real review! This new shop opened last week and I really wanted to go on opening day but the line was out the door for the entire duration of business hours and I can totally understand why! I had the chance to stop in today and I am so glad I did! We were greeted by the friendliest staff and immediately sparked up a conversation about the premium quality ice cream that they serve. It was really fun to learn that the ice cream is made in Illinois. What I also loved about the shop is that there's no big fan fair, just simple and delicious ice cream and a selection of candy! The shop is small but mighty offering vanilla, chocolate, or twist ice cream in either a cup or cone and sprinkles or no sprinkles! To learn about the history of where the ice cream comes from and the many taste tests it took to finding the perfect sprinkles from Canada, what a fun ice cream date spot. Also the pricing is spot on, you can't go anywhere nowadays to get two regular ice creams with sprinkles for $11! I am so happy that this little shop is now part of the Glen Ellyn downtown scene.
