This shop is super cute and quaint. ONLY 4 people allowed in at a time. GO and you'll see why. Its like a galley. The young man working there is super nice and patient. Nice variety of old school candies and Decent freshly popped popcorn.

Popcorn shop is a must stop while in town. A line out the door, but worth the wait. Always cute and comfy feel while you are there. Popcorn is great service is too.

Happy nostalgia embodied! Come here to put a smile on your face. It has barely changed at all since I was a small child. The popcorn is simple and delicious--no fancy flavors or crazy chemicals. They also have charming candy to pick by the piece. This store is tiny, but that is part of the appeal. Where else can you shop that is literally an alley with a roof on it? So cute!

It's a fun little (very little) shop. It's an alley turned into a popcorn and candy shop, very Harry Potteresque! You can fill a bag full of various candies, get bags of popcorn for cheap, it's a fun shop for kids of all ages!

The cutest little thing! Pay with cash or credit now. Give your kids $5-10 and support this local gem! The popcorn is a must! Buy a big bag and get home to chow it

Such a great history!

We were in Wheaton recently for an event & had to stop at the Little Popcorn Store! The line was out the door, but it was well worth the wait!

Wish there were more nostalgic candy offerings. At least I was able to score some Pop Rocks. Cute place!

A CANDY SHOP IN AN ALLEY?! YES! It sounds so Harry Potter-esque. But seriously. This candy shop/popcorn store was built in an alley with a red door and some really cool not-so-see-through-but-kinda ceiling tiles. If you didn't know about this place, you'd probably walk past the red door without thinking twice about it. And even though I had been told about this place, I STILL managed to walk past it! It really is an alley. Shelves of classic candies packed with childhood memories line one brick wall, while there is enough space for one or two people to walk by it. You can grab a little white paper bag and stuff it with as much candy as you want. And the prices!? Oh, my gosh. CHEAP. Especially for an independent candy shop in Wheaton. The popcorn bags were a steal compared to movie theaters. The candy itself was cheaper than anything you'd find in the checkout aisle or bulk candy stores. It made it kind of hard not to spend money here. And I think I have another cavity now. The Little Popcorn Store really is a little delight. Oh, so delightful.

Popcorn there only 1 flavor but they have a lot of different candy options to make up for that

Been coming here since I've been a kid. Pretty cool place, old wheaton energy right here. Good cheap candy, makes you feel like a kid again.

Luke is here and I can't tell you how great he is. I used to bring a giant suitcase and fill it but this visit I got 11 large bags and a flat ship rate so Luke is packing up my order and shipping it to arrive in Atlanta, where I now live and the popcorn game is soft. Nuts on Clark and Garrett's don't hold a candle to their white cheddar, and you also don't risk breaking a crown from a seed when you order from here. Thanks Luke! I'll be sure to have everyone cheers you for hooking me up and making me look good. Support small owned businesses!

I've tried all their flavors (except the "fire" spicy version - I don't like that thought). My favorite, by far, is their Movie Theatre popcorn, that with butter and salt reminds me of being a kid again, back when movie theaters cared about serving good popcorn. I buy several bags to last me through the week. The guys and I have discussed - even if I could obtain the Right of Way for a conveyor belt from them to my home in Lisle, it wouldn't be a good idea. The dogs would cluster around the delivery chute, causing them undue stress. Better to just drive over there. Much wagging when their popcorn is in the house, though! Definitely try them out! Mega-tasty!

From the normal fare of pre-wrapped, big name brands to by-weight gummy deliciousness to by-weight chocolate this place nearly covers all the bases. In fact, for a kid, this place seemingly offers it all. However, I feel like it's lacking something it's competitors offer... Wheaton's Popcorn Shop has fresh-popped popcorn, Graham's Chocolate has homemade chocolate (and a soda fountain), and candy shops in Naperville offer ice cream and cotton candy. Glen Ellyn Sweet Shoppe is just candy. Now, that doesn't stop them from executing well on their offering: the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is inviting, not to mention the fact that all customers under the age of 7 roll out of there with huge, ear-to-ear grins on their faces. The one thing I can't seem to figure out is if customers are allowed to peruse past the middle of the store... the cashier is setup right smack in the middle and feels like a gatekeeper over the rest of the floor, blocking easy passage to the chocolate in the back. If you're in the area then the Shoppe is worth a stop. But if you're looking for something a little more then this may not be the stop that fits the bill for you.
